Abstract

Data mining is a series of processes to extract new information from a pile of data. Student learning achievements are the results obtained by students after undergoing the learning process. There are quite a lot of data on student achievement in SMK Taman Siswa Binjai. But the student data has not been utilized to the maximum, making it difficult for the School to monitor the progress of students in the school. Therefore, it is necessary to create a system to find out the implementation of Data Mining based on the K-Means Clustering Method and to know the centroid distance between 1 group and other groups and to know the implementation of Data Mining based on Apriori Algorithm and to know the Support and Confidence of student learning achievement towards eye scores study, discipline, and majors. With this system can provide benefits to the school to be able to provide knowledge about student achievement while attending teaching and learning activities and to students to be able to know their learning achievements are good what needs to be improved again and can improve it again. By implementing k-means and a priori data mining of student achievement data in 2016 - 2018, there were 604 data, and from 100 data produced 3 clusters, where 1 48 data clusters, 2 24 data clusters, 3 28 data clusters, and with the algorithm a priori produce 16 rules that are formed and get the best rule, if someone has a good enough course value (70.00 - 76.99) and has enough discipline, then most likely will be in the Department of Motorcycle Engineering with a supporting value of 9% and 88% certainty value.

Abstract

In the 4.0 era where the Internet is an important part of life today, information can be easily accessed anytime, anywhere. But not all information distributed through the internet is in the form of facts. Data presented by the Ministry of Communication and Information based on a survey conducted in 2018 said that as many as 800,000 sites in Indonesia indicated that non-fact or hoax news spreaders were indicated. As a result of hoax news generated is very dangerous because it attacks the minds of the human subconscious, so it is needed a system that can detect hoax news. In this study used a database containing hoax news documents. The algorithm applied is the TF-IDF algorithm to measure the weight of a word in a hoax document and combined with the Levenshtein Distance (LD) algorithm to measure the distance between words in a document. The application of the Levenshtein Distance Method in the Hoax Detection System has several stages that begin with the pre-processing of the word (prepocessing text) followed by the TF-IDF calculation phase and then the minimum distance calculation between words using the Levenshtein Distance algorithm. The result of a limit of 0.1 on 40 documents that have been classified as test data has high Precision, Recall and Accuracy values, namely Precision 1; Recall 0.71; and Accuracy 80%.

Abstract

Medan Area University (UMA) is one of the oldest private universities in northern Sumatra, which was founded by Haji Agus Salim Siregar in 1983. Especially at Medan Area University the document collection processing model for LKPS-APS is currently still not organized with neat and there is still a loss of LKPS-APS documents, especially when the deadline for LKPS-APS preparation is nearing the upload period. To improve performance in document processing, a system will be built to facilitate lecturers and staff in managing LKPS-APS documents properly and in detail, and reduce the reason lecturers or staff cannot attend meetings in the processing and collection of LKPS-APS document forms that can be submitted into the online system and online discussion per document in the LKPS-APS information system according to 9 standard criteria according to the Instrument Akreditasi Program Studi 4.0 (IAPS 4.0) for Study Program Accreditation.

Abstract

Smart Electricity or probaya electricity is a government program. Electricity is the main need of the community, without electricity, the economy is totally stuck, because many large factories and industries use electricity and depend on electricity. Prepaid kWh meter is one of the innovations that has been carried out by PLN in order to facilitate service to the community. Where the customer must pay in advance for the electrical energy that will be used, so that the use of electrical energy can be controlled by the customer according to their needs and abilities. People buy credit / electricity tokens then input the token code into Prepaid Meters (MPB), MPB automatically reads the serial token number and displays the number of kWh according to the amount purchased. The problem that often arises is the impractical process of inputting the token serial number into the MPB. This study made a SMS-based prepaid electricity charging model. The design of this MPB has three general parts, namely Modems that will message the homeowners, volt meter and ampere meter sensors to detect electrical power, and the brain, which is the microcontroller part of ATMega8535. This microcontroller will control all the running of the system contained in this MPB system. That is controlling the input system in the form of sensors, controlling the modem as a message reminder, controlling the input of electric current.

Abstract

There is a waste in various rooms/buildings, for example, the room lights keep burning even though the room is not being used for lectures even on holidays, there must be a solution. Among the solutions is the availability of a sensing/monitoring system so that this situation can be monitored from a certain point/place in the building environment, for example, the Tunas Bangsa Academy Building. Thus this wasteful state can be reduced or even eliminated. One of the problems in building the provision of remote sensing systems is the high cost of the transmission media to be used. This problem can be overcome by utilizing existing networks, namely WiFi networks. Therefore, in this paper, a prototype sensor network is used to utilize existing WiFi networks to overcome the inefficiency (waste) of electrical energy in various rooms/buildings. From the results of the design of the sensor network can work well in WiFi network environments that can be used to monitor energy inefficiencies in a building's environment.

Abstract

The majority of internet users are currently searching the internet before buying certain products. One consideration of prospective buyers is product reviews (product review). Prospective consumers can decide to buy a product because it is influenced by reviews with positive sentiments, or decide not to buy a particular product because it is influenced by a negative sentiment review. Product reviews are a way of delivering consumer opinions and sentiments to a product online. In essence, the product review data mined directly from the database is unbalanced, between positive sentiment and negative sentiment. This condition makes it difficult for machine learning algorithms to perform classification and clustering functions. In this study, sentiment analysis was conducted based on Trendy Shoes products from Denim Shoes. The stages of sentiment analysis consist of data collection, initial processing, data transformation, feature selection and classification stages using SMOTEBoost. Initial processing applies the stages of text mining namely case folding, non alpha numeric removal, stop words removal, and stemming. The results of sentiment analysis were measured using the criteria of Accuracy, G-Mean, and F-Measure. By applying the test to two types of sentiment data, the results show that SMOTEBoost can classify sentiments well. SMOTEBoost's performance is compared to other ensemble techniques namely ADABoost, RUSBoost, and SMOTEBagging. Classification results of review_1 data, SMOTEboost is better in accuracy and G-Mean. While for the review_2 data, SMOTEBoost has better results for all criteria, both accuracy, F-Measure and G-Mean

Abstract

Badan Usaha Milik Desa (BUMDES) Bersama Cahaya Mandiri adalah usaha desa yang didirikan oleh pemerintah desa yang pengelolaannya dilakukan oleh pemerintah desa dan masyarakat Kecamatan Siantan. Dalam pengelolaannya membutuhkan sebuah aplikasi untuk mempermudah proses input data anggota, data kelompok, data usaha, data peminjaman, data pembayaran, serta laporan transaksi maupun laporan keuangan dikarenakan penyimpanan data yang masih menggunakan kertas membutuhkan waktu cukup lama untuk pencarian data. Dalam pembuatan laporan sering kali terjadinya kesalahan dalam penulisan jumlah dana sehingga untuk memperbaiki perhitungan harus diulang kembali. Sehingga peneliti tertarik untuk membangun aplikasi piutang usaha pada Badan Usaha Milik Desa (BUMDES) Bersama Cahaya Mandiri Kecamatan Siantan. Dalam Pembuatan aplikasi ini menggunakan software Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 untuk merancang dan membuat desain programnnya, Crystal Report For Visual Studio yang berfungsi untuk membuat laporan, database yang digunakan adalah MySQL. Dengan adanya aplikasi ini diharapkan dapat meminimalisir terjadinya kesalahan dan dapat menghemat waktu.

Abstract

The role of data mining in solving a large data problem includes estimation, prediction, classification, clustering and association. One of the roles of data mining used in this study is the classification to predict the graduation of Bina Sarana Informatika students in 2017 with the provision of passing on time and passing late. The algorithm used is the Decision Tree, K-Nerest Neighbor, Naïve Bayes, Random tree and Random Forest. The number of students graduating in the 1st period of 2017 was 5870 where there were 4998 students graduating on time and 872 graduating late. Performance testing of several algorithms using validation and different tests T-Test The k-NN algorithm has a high accuracy value of 99.98% which is the highest value and the best AUC is obtained by the Naïve Bayes algorithm with a value of 1,000. While the difference test is t-test significance <0.05, then H0 is rejected and if> 0.05 then H0 is accepted, only Decision Three against Naïve Bayes is accepted, otherwise it is rejected.

Abstract

Family welfare empowerment (PKK) is a community organization with 10 main programs that empower women to participate in Indonesia's development. The administrative process that has not been properly systemmed causes less optimal and efficient provision of data and information. In this study, the technique of developing the PKK Management Information System applies the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method, where this method has the advantage of being short and fast. The results of the SIM PKK design can provide convenience in providing accurate, fast data for policy making and also able to improve performance and efficiency in KDP organizations.

Abstract

Dalam dunia pendidikan sekarang ini guru pengajar maupun orang tua banyak yang memberikan keterangan mengenai cara reproduksi hewan dan tumbuhan yaitu dengan menyampaikan secara lisan. Dengan cara tersebut kadang anak susah untuk menangkap makna yang sedang disampaikan oleh guru karena dianggap kurang menarik. Masih banyak sekolah-sekolah yang hanya mementingkan aspek kognitif saja dan kurang memandang persoalan motivasi belajar siswa. Hal ini juga terjadi pada jenjang Sekolah Dasar (SD) terutama pada mata pelajaran ilmu pengetahuan alam (IPA) tentang reproduksi hewan dan tumbuhan. Dari latar belakang penulis merumuskan belum adanya media interaktif yang digunakan untuk memperkenalkan kepada siswa-siswi mengenai cara hewan dan tumbuhan bereproduksi. Pelajaran di SD Taman Siswa masih secara konvensional. Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan batasan masalah agar lebih terarah dan terperinci. Hasil dari pembelajaran interaktif ini adalah penulis dapat mempermudah siswa-siswi dalam proses belajar mengenai perkembangbiakan atau cara reproduksi hewan dan tumbuhan yang lebih komunikatif dengan menggunakan sofware Adobe Flash CS6.
