Abstract

This research aims to analyze the inflation calculation is based on Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of South Sumatra 2001-2011. The data used in this study is secondary data, that is data of GDP at current prices, constant prices GDP and Inflation in South Sumatra. In this study used two data analysis tools, namely the qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis. Qualitative analysis explains the good development of the South Sumatra GDP based on current prices and constant prices and inflation that occurred during the period 2001 - 2011 in the form of tables and linked to relevant theory. Quantitative analyzes using mathematical approaches, such as using the formula GDP growth and inflation projections and formulas of these variables. Results showed during the period of 2007 to 2011 GDP at current prices and constant prices has increased (positive growth), despite constant price GDP growth is not as sharp as partumbuhan GDP at current prices. Average growth of GDP at current prices was 13.62% while the constant price GDP consume is 5.33% per year ah. Keywords: Inflation, Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP)

Abstract

This study aims to identify the relationship between regional revenues through hotel and restaurant taxes and market retribution and economic growth in trade, hotels and restaurants. This study uses secondary data collected from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) and the Office of Revenue, Assets and Financial Management (DPPKAD) of Lubuklinggau city. The method used is a quantitative approach by applying the Granger causality model and multiple linear regression. The findings of this study indicate that regional revenues (hotel tax, restaurant tax and market retribution) does not Granger cause to economic growth, the fact otherwise shows that economic growth is able to cause regional revenues (hotel tax, restaurant tax and market retribution). Other findings indicate that hotel tax (X1) and restaurant tax (X2) do not have a significant effect on economic growth in the trade, hotel and restaurant sector. Whereas for market retribution (X3) it has a significant influence on economic growth in the trade, hotel and restaurant sector. This research aims at analyzing the effect of the change of oil price (BBM) on inflation rate in Indonesia. The main data used were the change of oil price and inflation rate  taking  period of 34 years ranging from April 1979 to June 2013. The result of  regression analysis shows that the effect of the change of oil price (BBM) on the inflation rate in Indonesia is positive. It can be concluded that an increase of the oil price by 1 % will lead to an increase of infaltion rate by 0,51%. The effect of the oil price is more dominant on the rate of inflation  which is grouped in expenditures for raw materials of food, tranportation dan communication than on inflation rate of other group of expenditures. Abstract

The aims of this study are to analyze the farmer’s value added, efficiency and the factors affecting the value added distribution. Location of the research is taken by using purposive sampling method on NES [Nucleus Estate and Smallholders] at the regency of Muara Enim in South Sumatera Province. A sample of Farmer’s selected using stratified random sampling. The qualitative descriptive analysis is also applied in of this study through measuring intermediate cost variables, efficiency and value added distributions. The result of this research showed that farmer’s low of the value added and efficiency performance. Efficient Farmer’s is reached when value added and productivity high, lower cost production, and labor exploitation. Factors inefficiency causing lost of the production surplus, by factors interest rate exploited, and increase disguised unemployment. The height Farmer’s quality and efficiency are to increase the equality for value added distributions. The more rigid on value added distributions influenced by inefficiency, lowest education, and medium productivity ages. All the impacted assumedly exploitation mechanism to impact of decrease farmer’s efficient and increase to gap value added distribution, and it does to affecting on the poverty. Keywords: cost, efficiency, farmer’s quality, exploitation, value added distributions
