Abstract

The current phenomenon of understanding of organization and leadership in mosque youth organizations is still relatively lacking and doesn’t really understand how to manage an organization effectively and efficiently so that organizational goals haven’t been achieved optimally. This dedication aims to provide motivation to the management of youth mosques in Kerinjing Village to be more optimal and effective in organizational management. The dedication was carried out by means of lectures, training, and simulations to the mosque youth administrators in Kerinjing Village. The material provided is in the form of materials related to issues of leadership, conflict management, organizational management, and trial techniques. Through this dedication activity, it is hoped that it can provide skills for the administrators of youth mosques in Kerinjing village in managing organizations, forming management structures, and generating leadership talents. The expected output from this dedication activity is in the form of a final report and an article in a dedication journal. The results of this dedication are also expected to be the basis for the government in making policies and programs related to youth issues in rural areas.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan di Desa Kerinjing Kecamatan Tanjung Raja Kabupaten Ogan Ilir yang membahas tentang investasi. Investasi merupakan salah satu cara terbaik untuk melipat gandakan tabungan kita. Untuk berinvestasi banyak cara dan macam-macam investasi yang diinginkan. Masyarakat sekarang ini banyak menginginkan investasi yang cepat dan menguntungkan dengan resiko yang minimal. Hal ini lah yang dimanfaatkan oleh sebagian orang dan biasanya berakhir dengan kerugian karena investasi yang ditawarkan merupakan investasi fiktif atau investasi bodong. Kita harus lebih cermat dan teliti dalam memilih investasi, mengingat bahwa banyak sekali penipuan investasi bodong maupun dengan motif arisan berantai dengan bantuan teknologi.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of fiscal decentralization on gross regional domestic product (GRDP) of districts in South Sumatera. The data used in this study are secondary data in the form of GRDP, district expenditure to provincial expenditure ratio, district revenue to district expenditure ratio and balancing fund to district revenue ratio in 15 districts/cities in South Sumatera for 11 years during the period of 2005-2015. Multiple regression analysis on fixed effect model is used in analyzing the data. The result shows that simultaneosly, fiscal decentralisation has significant effect on GRDP of districits/cities in South Sumatera. However, in partial test, the district expenditure to provincial expenditure ratio is positive and insignificant. This is related to the district expenditure allocation that has not any direct impact on the district economy thus, it has yet to give results that can support the economic growth.

Abstract

This research is aimed to analyze the pricing and product strategy and also profit of fish cracker industry in Palembang. The data used in this research is primary data which is obtained by using interview techniques to 45 fish crackers producers. The data is analyzed by using descriptive qualitative techniques. The results showed that the producers of fish crackers using Mark up pricing method to set up their price. On the average, the mark-up is 41 percent of average cost. The average profit that are received by producers is Rp1.100.288 in a week. It is also found that 77.78 percent producers differentiated their products in shape and taste.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the efficiency of the pharmaceutical industry (ISIC code: 21012) in Indonesia. The data used in this study are secondary data from 2000 to 2015. The analysis technique used in this study is the Stochastic Frontier Approach. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be seen that the pharmaceutical industry in Indonesia of 2000-2015 in technically it has not Reached amount of 0.96455986 optimal efficiencies. The capital variable does not have a significant effect on the output produced by the producer in the pharmaceutical industry, while the labor variable has it.

Abstract

This research is intended to analyze the effect of industrial concentration on industrial Performance of Salt Industry in Palembang. Industrial concentration is described  by concentration ratio of two largest firms (CR2) of output value. Growth wage rate is used to measure wage performance of Salt Industry in Palembang over aperiod  1994-2003. Industrial  Organization  Theory and  Wage Theoryare used to analyze  the performance  of salt industry during the years of 1994-2003. The data that used in this research are secondary data and primary data. The technique analysis used in this research is simple linier regression model. The results indicate that the concentration ratio of two largest firms (CR2) for output value effect on growth wage rate is equal to 10,7 percent and corelating between both variables is equal to 32,6 percent. The statistic   test   (t-test) indicates that industrial concentration effect on the industrial performances is significant. Therefore it can be concluded that industrial concentration which is measured by concentration ratio output value and industrial performance which is measured by growth wage rate have a positive relationship. Abstract

This study was aimed at finding the development and influence oh industry concentration on the efficiency of the soy sauce industry in Indonesia. The data were secondary ones taken from 1993 – 2011. This study was based on the theory of industrial organization, industrial concentration, and industrial efficiency. Descriptive quantitative was the method in this study. The degree of the industrial efficiency in soy sauce industry was influenced by the number of companies operating and producing soy sauce. The degree of industrial concentration in soy sauce industry was measured by using value added in industrial concentration divided by the number of soy sauce companies. The degree of soy sauce industrial concentration in the last year of observation was 7296550.747. The degree of industrial efficiency in the last year of observation was 0.91. There was a positive influence of the industrial concentration on the industrial efficiency. It was found that 50 % of the efficiency variable was influenced by the degree of industrial concentration. The rest was influenced by other factors. Abstract

The prospect of economy of  an economy depends on its economic performance for many years. This paper describes the economy prospect of South Sumatera Province based on macroeconomic condition; growth, sectoral contribution, population and employment. Specifically, it also describes the industrial sector and balance trade. It is found that South Sumatera’s growth showed an increasing pattern during the period analysis eventhough it less than national growth. The contribution to GDRB is dominated by three sectors; agriculture, industry and trade. Each of them contributes as much as 27%, 18% and 17.5%. Based on the GDRB expenditure, the highest expenditure comes from household consumption as much as 58%. Based on the ratio of  Industrial sector and agricultural GDRB, it is found that the role of industrial sector is dominant. The sectoral prospect of South Sumatera is in agriculture sector especially  crops and plantation and in industrial sector especially in food industry. The effort that can be done  to optimize the sectoral role are increase the productivity, create the sectoral linkage and innovate product diversification and differentiation. Abstract

This study focuses on the analysis of local revenues, Intergovernmental Grants (Revenue Sharing, Block Grants and Specific Grants) and foreign investment on the economic growth of coal-producing regencies in South Sumatera, namely, Muara Enim, Musi Banyuasin, Lahat, Musi Rawas and Ogan Komering Ulu. Secondary data are used in this study in form of panel data from the period of 2002 to 2015. The data are obtained from Central Bureau of Statistics, Directorate-General of Regional Fiscal Balance and other related institutions. Quantitative method using classic assumption, multiple regression analysis and statistical tests through Eviews 8 are used in this study. The result shows that, simultaneously, local revenues, Intergovernmental Grants (Revenue Sharing, Block Grants and Specific Grants) and foreign investment have positive impact on the economic growth. Moreover, partially, local revenues and foreign investment have positive and insignificant effect on the 5 coal-producing regions. It is also shown that coal production, royalty and land rent has not been able to overcome the number of poor people in the coal-producing regions.

Abstract

Mangrove ecosystem valuation can be used as a reference for decision making for management and conservation of mangrove ecosystems in a sustainable manner. The range of activities and interests conducted in coastal areas is not expected to negatively impact the ecology, economic and social. Carat Cape mangrove areas provide enormous benefits to the surrounding community, especially Sungsang IV village. From the results of the study illustrate the provosioning ecosystem service utilized community Sungsang IV village consists of materials construction (timber and nypa leaves), a source of livelihood or subsistance (nypa fruit, fish, shrimp, crab, and scallops). The total value of provosioning ecosystem services mangrove Carat Cape utilized by the Sungsang IV village Rp. Rp. 1.715.590.000, - per year dominated by income generated by marine species of fish which is the main livelihood of the fishermen Sungsang IV village  reached Rp. 1.302.600.000,- per year.
