Abstract

The objective of this research is to analyze the ability of electrical engineering students to build robots based on  Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) which is analyzed by Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) through IBM SPSS and IBM SPSS Amos software. CTL is able to aid teachers to explain teaching materials with real situations and also able to motivate students by connecting the knowledge with the real application. This research applied the development research design with the product in the form of the robotics lesson plan as a supporting or measuring tool to assess the ability to make a robot for electrical engineering students. The developed of the robotic module is the research results and monitoring results of the researchers from the year 2009 to 2015. Afterward, seven (7) validators validated the final module. The validators consist of instructional experts, educational experts, engineering experts, and grammarians. In addition, the average validator assessment result is 3.34, which fall into either category. Value probability level is above 0.5 (value = 0,522) then it is concluded there is improvement between constructs.

Abstract

Mathematical learning needs to be given to all students starting from elementary school, so that students practice how to think in drawing conclusions and be able to express their opinions with the beliefs and honesty that comes from someone. But when learning mathematics the problem that often arises is a lack of motivation. Baroody (1993) says that reasoning is an important tool in learning mathematics to produce ideas so students can understand mathematical concepts correctly. Efforts made by teachers to improve thinking skills and motivation in learning mathematics are through the Adobe Flash CS 5.0 game which is expected to provide new and enjoyable experiences for teachers and students. In addition to more varied learning, students can be motivated to learn and enjoy what they learn.

Abstract

The acceleration of 4.0 industrial revolution caused the development of digital era developed rapidly, therefore, learning resources can be accessed everwhere and everytime. Since the learning sources are easy to find,  the teachers are required to change the learning pattern into a learning facilitator that the focus is to give the appropriate learning resources for students based on their needs. According to the results of the interviews, there is a learning problem shows that the student learning outcomes in the excretion system material for class VIII SMP in SMPN 1 Taman Sidoarjo is still low. For this reason, it is necessary to develop a mobile learning media material excretion system that is feasibly and effectively used by students of VIII graders at SMPN 1 Taman Sidoarjo. The development model used is R&D Models from Walter Dick and Lou Carey. The data collection methods used were from questionnaire and test. Based on the trial results and data analysis, there are several conclusions, the results of the feasibility test of mobile learning media from the experts of material and media obtained a very good category. The individual trial obtained an excellent category, which is 90%, the percentgage of small group trials  is 90% and categorized as excellent, whereas the percentahe of the field trials is 89% and included in the excellent category. It can be concluded that the mobile learning media is suitable to use in the learning process. While the t-test with db = N - 1 = 33 - 1 = 32 and a significant level is 5%. Then the value of t table = 2.037 and tcount is 5.49. T arithmetic <t table (5.49> 2,037), therefore, the headway of media has been effective in improving student learning outcomes in class X of SMAN 1 Taman Sidoarjo on excretion system material.

Abstract

A very rapid technological development has become a serious concern for the world of education, especially relating to the administration of registration, the learning process and administration of graduation to support industry 4.0. This is due to the inability of human resources in schools to offset the utilization of technology that grows very fast. The problem also impacted the new student administration system, the learning process and graduation as the main activity became late and influential in the lack of enthusiasts to enter as a student. The strategic planning of information systems with Enterprise Architecture Planning (EAP) is a solution to parse and define the main activities run by the Bonavita Education Foundation. Strategic planning can be used as a basis for creating data architectures that are application architecture entities. The technology architecture is designed to illustrate the technology needed to provide a data application environment. The writing of this paper aims to create an educational administration strategy to increase the absorption of prospective students. The interview and observation methods are conducted to obtain accurate data on school leader, administrative staff, alumni and parents of prospective students. Analysis and data processing using value chain. With the planning of information system strategy and information technology it is expected that vocational high schools can face the 4.0 Industrial Revolution and increase the interest of prospective students to enter the school on the Bonavita Foundation without rule out to the vision and mission of the school.

Abstract

The quality of out-of-school education in Indonesia varies greatly and varies in quality . Efforts to improve the quality of national education by the government are always carried out in stages, planned and measured. To be able to organize quality education, every Education organizer must be accredited by BAN PAUD and PNF. There are still many LKp who are reluctant to submit accreditation requests, so that the quality of LKP also does not meet the expectations of the community and the government. The purpose of this study is to find a model for the acceleration of LKP accreditation development. The method used in this study uses a qualitative research approach, data sources obtained through in-depth interviews, direct observation and documentation. The results of this study are in the form of a product guidance acceleration of LKP accreditation. Accelerating the Development of the Accreditation Model LKP WEB-based quality assurance in Gresik Regency needs a mentoring process by a team of experts in this case the assessors are members of Pokja BAN PAUD and PNF Gresik Regency so that accreditation in Gresik Regency does not run stagnant but can run faster and quota given to the Regency Gresik can be fulfilled.

Abstract

The study aims to develop the chemistry subject module and its effectiveness in learning to improve students' critical thinking. It was conducted on the students of class XI in SMA Negeri 1 Pulau-Pulau Terselatan Southwest Maluku. It is the research of development which uses the Borg and Gall (2003) model, who adapted Dick and Carey's model named Instructional System Design which includes ten stages of development. The product of this development research is the chemistry subject module for the lesson about the colloidal system. Afterward, the developed module gets validation test using questionnaires that are given to the experts and the users, to know its feasibility to use in learning. Then, the results indicate that it is in the criteria of very feasible to use in learning. After get validation, it is analyzed using Normalized Gain (N-gain) to determine its effectiveness to improve students' critical thinking. The analysis data is obtained through one group pre-test and post-test design. Then, the result of N-gain analysis is 0.74 categorized as High means that there is an increase in students' critical thinking after the application of the module. Thus it can be concluded that the chemistry subject module is suitable for use in learning, and it influences the effectiveness of learning since it can effectively improve students' critical thinking in SMA Negeri 1 Pulau-Pulau Terselatan Southwest Maluku.
