Abstract

The brain in a baby grows 3 times the state at birth or 80% of an adult brain in its first year. This condition only happens once in a life time. So that for maximum growth and development, babies need adequate sleep. Sleep disorders in children can have an impact, both on aspects of physical growth, as well as cognitive, emotional, social and child behavior. This study is aimed to determine the relationship between sleep quality and the development of infants aged 3-10 months in the village of Tamanan Banguntapan II Primary Health Center. Descriptive correlation with cross sectional approach was conducted. Chi square test was performed. The number of samples in this study were 36 infants aged 3-10 months. Purposive sampling was used as sample taking technique. A Brief Screening Questionnaire for Infant Sleep Problems (BISQ) and the Denver Developmental Screening Test (DDST II) sheet was used as data collection tools. Statistical test results showed that the value of p=0,001 (p value

Abstract

Cases of bullying in schools have become a widespread phenomenon and have a negative impact on the school atmosphere. A good and fearless learning environment needs attention. Educational institutions have the task of creating and guaranteeing a conducive and safe learning atmosphere so that students feel happy and comfortable while at school. This can be supported by teachers who have good knowledge, attitudes and self-efficacy towards bullying cases. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of anti-bullying education on teacher's knowledge, attitudes, and self-efficacy. The method used in this study uses a pre-experimental quantitative approach with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study were all teachers of SMP 11 Yogyakarta, the sampling technique used total sampling, so the sample was 23 teachers. Test data analysis used the Wilcoxon test. Knowledge prior to the intervention of the average respondent was given in the good category, good enough attitude and self-efficacy in the poor category. Knowledge after being given an intervention is mostly in the good category, good attitude and good self-efficacy. Wilcoxon test results on each variable of knowledge, attitude and self-efficacy obtained p value 0,002, which means that anti-bullying education affects the knowledge, attitudes and self-efficacy of teachers. It can be concluded that anti-bullying education is effective in increasing teacher’s knowledge, attitudes and self-efficacy in SMP 11 Yogyakarta

Abstract

The learning organization paradigm is a paradigm in the organization of an organization where everyone in the organizational component is expected to be able to improve/expand their abilities continuously. This study aims to determine the initial description of the Health Information Management Study Program at the IIK Bali in applying the learning organization paradigm and determine the focus of managerial development of the Health Information Management Study Program at the IIK Bali based on the paradigm of the learning organization. The type and design of this research is a descriptive exploratory study with a survey observational method with the aim of only looking for an initial description of the application of learning organization components in the IIK-Bali health information management study program personnel, without looking for cause and effect relationships or others. The subjects of this study were all educators and educators in the health information management study program in the IIK Bali. The research instrument used was a data collection instrument in the form of a questionnaire which is primary data that is data obtained directly at the first source. The results of this study indicate that dimension 4 (Embedded Systems) gets the lowest score from respondents i.e. 3,1 out of 6 (maximum score), so this dimension shows potential for improvement and enhancement. While the dimension that gets the highest score from respondents is dimension 3 (Team Learning and Collaboration) with a value of 4,4. The conclusion is that the Information Management Study Program still needs improvement before starting to run the learning organization paradigm. The dimensions of embedded systems 4 are the focus of improving the management of the study program.

Abstract

Food based on health standards become an important need in order to not health problems. The principles of food sanitation are very important in the food making process. The food must be safe for eaten. Based on observations, the principles of food sanitation are still not being applied by traders in the Kotagede Market area of Yogyakarta. Many foods are sold open and mix with other merchandise, allowing contamination. Health problems can occur because of not paying attention to the principles of food sanitation, such as diarrhea, vomiting and other digestive problems. To determine the quality of the food sold, it is necessary to check and supervise the food, one of which is by testing microbiologically. The purpose of this study is to determine the contamination ofEschericia coli bacteria in the food. This type of research was descriptive qualitative. This research was conducted by examining the food sold in the Kotagede Market area of Yogyakarta. The population in this study was all the food sold in the Kotagede Market area of Yogyakarta. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. The sample in this study were 10 types of food. The data were analyzed using the MPN (most probable number) method. Samples were examined at the BBTKL PP Laboratory, Yogyakarta Special Region Health Service. The results of laboratory tests on 10 food samples sold showed that all food was contaminated with Escherichia coli bacteria at Kotagede Market area of Yogyakarta.

Abstract

Papaya leaves (Carica papaya L.) contain antibacterial compounds, based on previous studies, the antibacterial active substances in papaya leaves have been tested against several bacteria from in vitro method. Papaya leaves contain tannins, alkaloids, flavonoids, saponins and terpenoids. The purpose of this study is to formulate a microemulsion preparation from papaya leaf extract and to determine the effect of papaya leaf extract microemulsion preparation on the antibacterial activity of Staphylococcus epidermidis. This research was done by making microemulsions of papaya leaf extract at 5% (F1), 10% (F2) and 15% (F3) concentration, which were then tested for organoleptic test, homogeneity test, microemulsion type, stability, pH value, particle size analyzer and bacterial inhibition test by using the well diffusion method. The results showed that all preparations met the requirement of physical characteristics of microemulsion and was stable during accelerated stability test. The result of inhibition test against Staphylococcus epidermidis showed that F1 and F2 had moderate inhibition, F3 had a strong inhibitory power which is 10,1 mm.
