Abstract

Higher Education has been using web-based academic information system, for all academic administration process in this academic system such as study plan, academic transcipt, lecturers and Curriculum and student data. So that required maintenance in database and system management whith well-maintained and scheduled. It is necessary to apply the system to determine the level of vulnerability in order to avoid attacks from irresponsible parties. OWASP (Open Web Application Security Project) is one of the methods for testing the web-based applications released by owasp.org. Using OWASP may indicate that authentication management, authorization and session management. The STMIK Jakarta website often has problems on the web and the loss of some important data that interferes with lectures. At the end of 2016, around September when preparing for the first semester of the Study Plan, the website experienced programmed data loss, consequently the academic system was disrupted. The STMIK Jakarta has used a web-based academic information system, for all academic administrative processes such as study plans, academic transcripts, lecturers, curriculum and student data. This system requires data base and system management. It is important to implement a security system to determine the level of vulnerability to avoid attacks from irresponsible parties. OWASP (Open Web Application Security Project) is one method for testing web-based applications released by owasp.org. The results of the research have been carried out with the results reaching around 90% management authentication, authorization, and session management not being implemented properly.

Abstract

Currently the internet is used and utilized in all fields of human life both in the economic, government, and even now the internet has been widely used in the world of education as a support in the learning process. One of the uses of the internet in learning is to look for subject matter in the form of articles, pictures and even videos. But not all things that are on the internet are good, there are a lot of negative content that needs to be filtered to prevent internet abuse by students, for example accessing graphic porn content, opening social media sites on Facebook, Instagram and even watching video shows on YouTube while learning takes place. The main purpose of this study is to control and prevent internet abuse by students at SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Kuningan by blocking sites that are not needed during learning and user management and bandwidth management with Router Mikrotik so that internet connections are stable. The results of the research carried out successfully implemented with the results, sites containing negative content were blocked, the internet connection became stable due to the even distribution of bandwidth that was set up through a proxy router.

Abstract

Augment Reality (AR) is a technology which combines the virtual world with the real world. The use of AR technology is widely used in the fields of education, military, entertainment and advertising. Generally applications that implement AR technology aim to provide information to users more clearly, in real time and interactively. PT Tunas Mobilindo Perkasa is a business engaged in the promotion of sales of four-wheeled vehicles, one of which is located on Jl. Ahmad Yani No. 229-231 Bandung. PT. Tunas Mobilindo Perkasa did a promotion for the sale of four-wheeled vehicles, employees still came to the buyers and offered brochures, for some people who might be interested in buying it, the brochure would be stored for future buyers needing information about the sale, but for some others maybe the brochure will be thrown away and become trash. Therefore PT.Tunas Mobolindo Perkasa applies Augment Reality (AR) to be able to help in promotion and increase sales.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of competence, work stress and work discipline on employees’ performances at PT Sawit Riau Makmur. The employees’ performances at PT Sawit Riau Makmur had experienced a decline due to lack of competence from the employees. The employees experienced work stress and poor work discipline. The population and samples in this study are amounted to 80 employees. The research method of this study is using multiple linear regression analysis method. The hypothesis test of this study is using partial test and simultaneous testing. The results of the coefficient of determination test obtained with value of 0.372which means 37.2% of the variation of the dependent variable namely employees’ performance that can be explained by variations in the independent variables which are competence, work stress and work discipline while the remaining 62.8% is explained by other variables not examined in this study. The conclusion of this study is work competency, work stress and work discipline simultaneously have a positive and significant effect towards employees’ performance at PT. Sawit Riau Makmur and work competence, work stress and work discipline partially have a positive and significant effect towards employees’ performance at PT. Sawit Riau Makmur.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine and analyze the effect of price, service quality and promotion on satisfaction of using online transportation services (Grab) Medan. Grab user satisfaction has decreased due to high tariff prices, unsatisfactory services and less effective promotion of Grab. The population and sample in this study amounted to 100 Grab customers in Medan City. The research method uses multiple linear techniques. Hypothesis testing used in this research is partial test and simultaneous test. The magnitude of the coefficient of determination is 72.6% and the remaining 27.4% customer satisfaction is explained by other causes such as consumer motivation and trust. The conclusions in this study indicate that simultaneously price, service quality and promotion have positive and significant effect on satisfaction of using online transportation services (Grab) Medan and partially price, service quality and promotion have positive and significant effect on satisfaction of using online transportation services (Grab) Medan.

Abstract

Flow shop scheduling could be a scheduling model where all jobs that are processed flow within the same direction / path. the matter is usually faced if n jobs are processed on m machines, where what must be done first and what allocates jobs on the machine in order that a scheduled production process are obtained. To validate this algorithm a computational test was done employing a dataset of 60 examples from the Taillard Benchmark. HS algorithm with a comparison of two constructive heuristics from the literature, namely the NEH heuristic and stochastic greedy heuristic (SG). The average results obtained for dataset sizes are 20 x 5 to 50 x 10, that the ACO-GA algorithm has smaller makespan compared to the opposite two algorithms, except for large dataset sizes the ACO-GA algorithm has larger makespan compared to the 2 algorithms above with difference of 1.4 units of your time

Abstract

A car control device has been made with a voice application on an Android smartphone based on Arduino UNO. This tool uses HC-05 as a Bluetooth transmission media, Arduino Uno as the main controller and 2 DC motors as output. App Inventor is used to make a sound application on a smartphone, if the application receives a "forward" sound then both DC motors will advance. There are 5 voice commands that can be executed namely "forward", "backward", "right", "left" and "stop". From the results of trials that have been determined that this tool can control the car by giving voice commands that have been configured with a microcontroller with a considerable distance 3-5 meters.

Abstract

The development of information technology is now growing rapidly and rapidly. The use of computers is very much needed in almost every company. Computers and systems are very helpful to improve the performance and profit of a company. In processing sales data, AA Electric Stores still use manual notes using paper media and calculators. So that errors often occur in calculations. And the reports produced are only stored in the form of documents as archives. While these documents are very important for the company. For this reason, the author made the Final Project regarding the sales system at AA Electric Stores which until now has not been computerized. This information system design is the best solution to solve the problems that exist in this company, making it easier for users to make sales transactions, so that there is no error in the calculation and processing of neatly arranged goods data. The process of running sales transactions and processing data of goods becomes more effective and efficient. Data can be stored safely and easily searched, And with this system makes it easier for the owner to view the report at any time because when the data entered into the system will be processed directly into report information. And to improve the company's performance, it is necessary to design a purchasing system at the AA Electric Store. A web-based sales and purchase system is designed for company performance more effectively.
