Abstract

ABSTRACT Literary works is one form of art in which language is used as a medium, one of them is poetry. Language in poetry is free and solid regarding the licencia poetica, yet it still contains various aspects of life as the poet?s idea. In order to convey his ideas, the poet uses diction on poetry. The usage of dictions on poetry are able to reveal many things, for example, a city. The description of a city through diction within literary works are often depicted through Indonesian poetry. One of those poetry collections which potray a city through diction usage is Sarinah Poetry Collection by Esha Tegar Putra. This research present the usage of dictions within Sarinah Poetry Collection by Esha Tegar Putra. The problems being discussed are (1) how does the diction interpret a city within the Sarinah Poetry Collection by Esha Tegar Putra (2) how is the relation between the diction and other poetry elements contain in Sarinah Poetry Collection by Esha Tegar and (3) how does the meaning contained within Sarinah Poetry Collection by Esha Tegar Putra related to the diction which intepreted city. The approach used in this research is stylictica with qualitative method. The data were obtained from fifteen poems  written in Sarinah Poetry Collection by Esha Tegar Putra. The result of this study showed that within this Sarinah Poetry Collection are carried diction in form of nouns, verbs, dictions with connotative and dennotative meaning, and diction in form of basic words also words that have undergone morphological processes. The usage of the diction based on the word type and the meaning type is aiming more valid interpretation about city, such as name of the places and facilities provided in the city. Based on the form, the usage of the diction within  Sarinah Poetry Collection is working as the element to strengthen the atmosphere withi the poems. the diction contained in this poem are related to other poetry elements such as tone, imagery and figure of speech, so that they could bring a whole unity meaning of the poem. The diction being used by the poet is functioning to reinforce the meaning and the atmosphere, so that the depiction about a trip, traffic jam, bustle, poverty, environmental matters and injustice that represent a city is clearly present. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi perbedaan karakteristik fitur kebahasaan yang terdapat pada wacana teks Tajuk Rencana Harian Suara Merdeka dan Kompas Edisi 1 sampai dengan 30 April 2017. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan teoretis dan pendekatan metodologis. Pendekatan teoretis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan analisis wacana, sedangkan pendekatan metodologis yang digunakan berupa pendekatan kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif. Data dalam penelitian ini berupa penggalan wacana yang terdapat dalam teks Tajuk Rencana Harian Suara Merdeka dan Kompas Edisi 1 sampai dengan 30 April 2017. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode simak yang dilanjutkan dengan teknik catat. Metode analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode agih yang dilanjutkan dengan teknik baca markah. Metode penyajian hasil analisis data yang digunakan adalah metode penyajian informal. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, ditemukan 91 data untuk penggunaan pronomina penunjuk, 69 data untuk penggunaan konjungsi kausalitas, 81 data untuk konjungsi pertentangan, dan 5 data untuk konjungsi misalan. This study aims to identify differences in characteristics of linguistic features contained in the text discourse of the Daily Plans of Suara Merdeka and Kompas Edition 1 to April 30, 2017. The approach used in this study is theoretical approach and methodological approach. The theoretical approach in this research uses discourse analysis approach, while the methodological approach used is descriptive qualitative approach. The data in this study is a fragment of discourse contained in the text of the Daily Suara Merdeka and Kompas Edition 1 to April 30, 2017. The data collection method used is the refer method followed by the record technique. Data analysis methods used in this study is a method that continued with the technique of reading markah. Method of presentation of result of data analysis used is method of informal presentation. Based on the results of the study, 91 data were found for the use of pronominal pointers, 69 data for the use of conjunction causality, 81 data for conjunction contradictions, and 5 data for conjunctions.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Realitas sosial tidak hanya terjadi di dunia nyata, tetapi juga tergambar dalam karya sastra. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui realitas sosial dalam novel Laut Bercerita karya Leila S. Chudori dan mengetahui pandangan dunia pengarang dalam novel mengenai realitas sosial yang dikaji melalui analisis strukturalisme genetik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode dialektik dari Lucien Goldmann. Dari hasil penelitian, ditemukan realitas sosial dalam novel melalui hubungan antartokoh dalam novel serta hubungan tokoh dengan objek yang ada di sekitarnya. Selain itu, terdapat fakta yang berkait dengan realitas sosial dalam novel. Pandangan dunia yang ditemukan dalam novel tersebut yaitu, pengarang menentang keotoriteran rezim Orde Baru yang sewenang-wenang, mengecam penghilangan paksa dan mendukung HAM, serta mengkritik pemerintah yang lambat dalam menyelesaikan kasus hilangnya aktivis. Kata kunci: realitas, sosial, strukturalisme genetik, Laut Bercerita ABSTRACT Social reality does not only occur in the real world, but also illustrated in literature. This study aims to determine the social reality in the novel Laut Bercerita by Leila S. Chudori and find out the world view of the author in the novel regarding the social reality studied through analysis of genetic structuralism. This study uses a qualitative approach with the dialectical method of Lucien Goldmann. From the results of the study, found social reality in the novel through interpersonal relationships in the novel and the relationship of characters to the objects around them. In addition, there are facts that relate to social reality in the novel. The world view found in the novel, namely, the author opposed the arbitrary authorization of the New Order regime, condemned enforced disappearances and supported human rights, and criticized the government which was slow in resolving cases of activist disappearances. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan refleksi diri tokoh dalam novel Pesentren Impian karya Asma Nadia yang dikaitkan dengan motivasi diri serta pemenuhan hiarki kebutuhan Abraham Maslow. Metode yang dipakai adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Data yang dikumpulkan berupa teks dalam novel Pesantren Impian karya Asma Nadia. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan membaca sumber data. Kemudian pengklasifikasian data, data dipisahkan berdasarkan permasalahan dan tujuan penelitian. Data yang sudah diinterpretasikan selanjutnya di eksplanasi dalam bentuk paparan bahasa sebagai suatu hasil sebuah analisis. Hasil dari peneitian ini adalah paparan mengenai pemenuhan hirarki kebutuhan tokoh, motivasi tokoh, dan karakteristik tokoh setelah merefleksi diri. Hierarki kebutuhan yang terpenuhi dalam novel Pesantren Impian karya Asma Nadia meliputi kebutuhan fisiologis, kebutuhan rasa aman, kebutuhan rasa dimiliki dan memiliki, kebutuhan harga diri dan aktualisasi diri. Sedangkan motivasi tokoh untuk merefleksi diri merupakan dorongan/keinginan tokoh untuk mendapatkan sesuatu, dalam hal ini adalah kehidupan yang lebih baik di masa mendatang. Tokoh yang merefleksi diri menunjukkan karakteristik yang berbeda-bedamulai dari perubahan penampilan sampai pada psikologis tokoh.   This study aims to describe the self-reflection of the character in the novel Pesentren Impian by Asma Nadia which is associated with self-motivation and the fulfillment of the needs of Abraham Maslow. The method used is descriptive qualitative. Data collected in the form of a text in the novel Pesantren Impian by Asma Nadia. Data collection is done by reading data sources. Then classifying the data, the data are separated based on problems and research objectives. The data that has been interpreted is then explained in the form of language exposure as a result of an analysis. The results of this research are exposure to the fulfillment of the hierarchy of character needs, character motivation, and character characteristics after self-reflection. The hierarchy of needs fulfilled in the novel Pesantren Impian by Asma Nadia includes physiological needs, security needs, sense of belonging and belonging, self-esteem needs and self-actualization. While the motivation of the character to reflect on himself is the drive / desire of the character to get something, in this case is a better life in the future. People who reflect themselves show different characteristics ranging from changes in appearance to psychological character.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas variasi bahasa Jawa di Kabupaten Cilacap pada tataran fonologi dan leksikon. Titik pengamatan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 4 yang merupakan daerah-daerah yang berbatasan dengan Kabupaten Pangandaran, Jawa Barat, yaitu Desa Kedungreja, Kecamatan Kedungreja dan Desa Tambakreja, Kecamatan Kedungreja serta Desa Purwodadi dan Desa Rawaapu, Kecamatan Patimuan. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode pupuan lapangan danmetode cakap. Data-data yang telah terkumpul kemudian dianalisis menggunakan metode padan fonetis artikulatoris dan teknik pilah unsur penentu (teknik PUP) dengan teknik lanjutan yaitu teknik HBB dan teknik HBS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ditemukan variasi bahasa Jawa Cilacap (BJC) berupa variasi fonologi dan leksikon. Variasi fonologi meliputi variasi bunyi vokal dan konsonan serta korespondensi bunyi vokal dan konsonan. Variasi leksikon meliputi gejalaonomasiologis dan semasiologis. Data variasi fonologi dan leksikon tersebut selanjutnya disajikan dalam peta bahasa. Faktor-faktor geografis wilayah menjadi akibat munculnya variasi bahasa Jawa di Kabupaten Cilacap, khususnya di wilayah perbatasan Jawa-Sunda. This study discusses the variation of Javanese language in Cilacap Regency at the level of phonology and  lexicon. Observation points in this study amounted to 4 which are areas bordering Pangandaran Regency, West Java, namely Kedungreja Village, Kedungreja District and Tambakreja Village, Kedungreja District and Purwodadi Village and Rawaapu Village, Patimuan District. Data collection uses field methods and proficient methods. The data that has been collected is then analyzed using the phonetic articulatory matching method and the technique of determining the determinants (PUP techniques) with advanced techniques, namely HBB techniques and HBS techniques. The results showed that variations in the Cilacap Javanese language (BJC) were found in variations of phonology and lexicon. Phonological variations include variations of vowel and consonant sounds and correspondence of vowel and consonant sounds. The lexicon variation includes onomasiological and semasiological symptoms. The phonological and lexicon variation data are then presented in the language map. The geographical factors of the region were due to the emergence of variations in Javanese language in Cilacap Regency, especially in the Javanese-Sundanese border region.

Abstract

Masyarakat Jawa merupakan masyarakat yang berlapis dengan penandaan golongan melalui suatu cara hidup. Masyarakat Jawa memiliki tatanan sosial yang mengatur anggotanya untuk senantiasa dijadikan pedoman dan tidak diabaikan sehingga melekat dalam pribadi sebagai identitas. Tatanan nilai sosial dapat diungkapkan melalui berbagai hal, salah satunya melalui karya sastra. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengungkap tatanan sosial masyarakat Jawa dalam puisi Bolong karya Joko Pinurbo. Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah tatanan nilai sosial yakni Urip ora ngoyo, nrimo ing pandom, Ngajeni wong tua, dan ana catur mungkur yang bersumber dari puisi Bolong .  Javanese society is a society that is layered with the designation of groups through a way of life. Javanese society has a social order that regulates its members to always be used as a guideline and not neglected so that it is inherent in the person as identity. The order of social values can be expressed through various things, one of which is through literature. This study aims to reveal the social fabric of Javanese society in Bolong poetry by Joko Pinurbo. This research was conducted using qualitative descriptive methods. The data in this study are social value structures, namely Urip ora ngoyo, nrimo ing pandom, Ngajeni wong tua, and chess games which are derived from Bolong poetry.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menelusuri wacana absurditas yang terlukis dalam naskah drama ?Pelajaran? karya Eugene Ionesco. ?Pelajaran? tergolong naskah absurd yang berarti berada di luar konvensi drama pada umumnya, tidak beralur, bertemakan nihilisme dan kesenduan metafisik, serta disesaki dialog yang hanya berupa celotehan tidak nyambung. Kepekaan intelektual dan penghayatan eksistensi kehidupan menjadi syarat kompetensi interpretasi. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang memanfaatkan metode hermeneutika dengan mengadopsi pembacaan heuristik dan hermenuitik. Teori semiotika Riffaterre dan teori drama absurd digunakan untuk mengungkapkan tanda-tanda sebagai pembangun absurditas di luar logika. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ?Pelajaran? menyuguhkan absurditas kehidupan metafisik, kesia-siaan, pemberontakan, dan kematian yang dikemas melalui absurditas alur, penokohan, dan dialog irrasional. This research aims to investigate absurdity in ?Pelajaran? drama script written by Eugene Ionesco. ?Pelajaran?  belongs to the kind of absurd drama script since it breaks structure convention of common drama script. It is such unconventional kind of drama script which has no plot, unclear characterization, nihilism topics such metaphysical things, being isolate, rebellion, and death, also has irrational dialogue which only tells about unimportant things. This research belongs to descriptive qualitative research which used hermeneutic methods contained of two reading methods such heuristic and hermeneutic. The theory of semiotic Riffaterre applied in analyzing the symbols constructed in the text which combined with the theory of drama absurd suggested by Martin Esslin used to find out the absurdity in the text. The result of the research shows that ?Pelajaran? presents the absurdity of life such metaphysics, disconsolate, rebellion, and death. Those all things presented through absurdity of plot, characterization, and irrational dialogue.

Abstract

Bahan ajar sastra yang dipilih oleh guru harus menyajikan berbagai nilai yang bisa diaplikasikan siswa dalam kehidupan nyata. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan wujud konflik batin yang mengandung nilai-nilai kehidupan novel Ada Surga di Rumahmu karya Oka Aurora. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah novel berjudul ?Ada Surga di Rumahmu? karya Oka Aurora. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis isi. Data dianalisis menggunakan teori psikopragmatik. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dan pembahasan disimpulkan bahwa wujud konflik batin dalam novel Ada Surga di Rumahmu karya Oka Aurora antara lain pertentangan antara pilihan yang tidak sesuai dengan keinginan, kebimbangan dalam menghadapi permasalahan, serta harapan tidak sesuai dengan kenyataan. Kesesuaian konflik batin yang mengandung nilai-nilai kehidupan dalam novel Ada Surga di Rumahmu karya Oka Aurora dapat dilihat dari aspek psikologi. Rekomendasi dari hasil penelitian diharapkan penyajian bahan ajar pembelajaran sastra di SMA senantiasa diperbaiki, diperbarui dan dimutakhirkan sesuai kebutuhan dan standar yang telah ditentukan. Literary teaching materials chosen by the teacher must present various values that can be applied by  students in real life. The purpose of this research is to describe the form of inner conflict that contains the values of life in the novel Ada Surga di Rumahmu by Oka Aurora. The research approach used is descriptive qualitative. The data source in this researchis a novel titledAda Surga di Rumahmu by Oka Aurora. The method used in this researchis content analysis. Data was analyzed using psychopragmatic theory. Based on the results of the analysis and discussion, it was concluded that the form of inner conflict in the novel titledAda Surga di Rumahmuby Oka Aurora includes contradictions between choices that are not in accordance with desires, doubts in facing problems, and expectations not inaccordance with reality. The values of life contained in the novel titled Ada Surga di Rumahmu by Oka Aurora include moral values, religious values, social values, cultural values and educational values. Compatibility of inner conflict that contain the values of life in the novel Ada Surga di Rumahmu by Oka Aurora can be seen from the aspect of psychology. Recommendations from the results of the study are expected to present literature learning materials in high school always improved, updated and updated.according to the needs and standards that have been determined.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah, 1) mendeskripsi bentuk pelanggaran tindak pengancaman muka positif, 2) mendeskripsi tindak pengancaman muka negatif pada tuturan teks media sosial berdasarkan teori Brown dan Levinson, 3) mendeskripsi strategi kesantunan dalam tuturan pada teks media sosial. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada tuturan teks media sosial facebook dan twitter tahun 2018. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yakni metode deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik catat. Tindak pengancaman muka positif pada teks media sosial facebook terdapat tiga subbidal, yaitu 1) ungkapan ketidaksetujuan, 2) ungkapan emosi, 3) ungkapan yang tidak sopan. Tindak pengancaman muka negatif pada teks media sosial facebook terdapat dua subbidal, yaitu 1) ungkapan peringatan, dan 2) ungkapan perasaan negatif. Tindak pengancaman muka positif pada teks media sosial twitter terdapat lima subbidal, 1) ungkapan ketidaksetujuan, 2) ungkapan emosi, 3) ungkapan yang tidak sopan, 4) ungkapan yang tidak kooperatif, dan 5) ungkapan yang menunjukan sebutan 2 data. Tindak pengancaman muka negatif pada teks media sosial twitter terdapat dua subbidal, yaitu 1) ungkapan peringatan, dan 2) ungkapan perasaan negatif. Strategi ketidaksantunan pada teks media sosial facebook dan twitter terdapat empat subbidal, yaitu 1) strategi tanpa basa-basi, 2) strategi kesantunan postif, 3) strategi kesantunan negatif, dan 4) strategi kesantunan tidak langsung. The purpose of this study is, 1) to describe the form of violation of positive face-threatening action and negative face-to-face on social media text texts based on Brown and Levinson's theory; 2) to describe the politeness strategy in speech on social media texts. This research was conducted on social media text texts facebook and twitter in 2018. The method used is qualitative descriptive method. Technique of collecting data using technique note. There are four subbidal faces in facebook text media, namely 1) expression of disapproval, 2) emotional expression, 3) impolite expression. Adverse action on facebook social media text there are two subbidal, namely 1) warning expression, and 2) expression of negative feelings. There are five subbidials, 1) expression of non- negative on the text of social media twitter there are two subbidal, that is 1) warning expression, and 2) expression of negative feelings. Strategy is generally done to reduce the threat to the self-image of the speaker, respect it and to reduce the threat. The politeness strategy on the social media text facebook and twitter there are four subbidal, that is 1) the strategy of no-nonsense, 2) the positive politeness strategy, 3) the strategy negative politeness, and 4) indirect indirection strategy.

Penelitian ini berjudul ?Perlawanan Perempuan Terhadap Dominasi Patriarki dalam Novel Geni Jora Karya Abidah El Khalieqy Kajian Feminisme Psikoanalisis Karen Horney. Konflik perlawanan yang dilakukan oleh tokoh perempuan di analisis menggunakan teori psikoanalisis feminisme Karen Horney. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari korelasi antara karakter perempuan dalam novel dengan perlawanan terhadap dominasi patriarki yang dialami perempuan. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Deskriptif Kualitatif, di mana peneliti berupaya mendeskripsikan hasil dari bacaan terhadap sumber data primer dan sekunder kemudian mengolah dalam bentuk data kualitatif. Secara teoretis peneliti menggunakan teori feminisme psikoanalisis Karen Horney yang menyatakan bahwa perlawanan perempuan didasarkan atas pola asuh dan lingkungan sosial di mana perempuan tersebut tinggal. Perlawanan perempuan secara psikoanalisis dibagi dalam tiga bentuk perlawanan antara lain, pergerakan mendekati orang lain, melawan orang lain, dan menjauhi orang lain. Dampak dari perlawanan tersebut, mengakibatkan perempuan mengalami berbagai macam mekanisme pertahanan diri seperti, pemindahan, sublimasi, identifikasi, represi, dan proyeksi. This research is entitled "Women's Resistance to Domination of Patriarchy in Geni Jora's Novel by Abidah El Khalieqy Study of Feminism in Psychoanalysis Karen Horney. Conflicts of resistance carried out by female figures were analyzed using Karen Horney's psychoanalytic theory. This research aims to find the correlation between female characters in the novel with resistance to patriarchal domination experienced by women. The method used in this research was a Qualitative Descriptive method, where the researcher attempted to describe the results of the reading of the primary and secondary data sources then processed them in the form of qualitative data. Theoretically, the researcher used the theory of psychoanalytic feminism Karen Horney who stated that women's resistance is based on parenting and the social environment where the woman lives. Psychoanalytic resistance of women was divided into three forms of resistance, among others, the way of approaching others, against others, and away from others. The impact of this resistance has resulted in women experiencing a variety.of self-defense mechanisms such as transfer, sublimation, identification, repression and projection.
