Abstract

All creatures that exist in this world was created in pairs, it is characterized by the occurrence of a marriage that begins on the mutual attraction of the pair of the opposite sex. When there is a meeting, they then hold interaction where the interaction is inseparable from communication. Interpersonal communication that occurs is possible to implement the adaptation strategy to solve the problems. The theory used is the Information Manipulation Theory of Steven Mc Cornack (1992). This theory explains how people lie and how people be lied. The paradigm of constructivism and method of research is the first form of a case study. Conclusion: How do people lie, when facial expression does not match with the body language, likely that he lies. Infidelity in couples, not always originated from the conflict. There was also due to the hyper sex, habits, grudges, and there is a desire to try on different physical. Abstract

This study aims to determine the implications of LGBT news on the activities of NGOs as follows: Arus Pelangi, Inter Medika Foundation and Yayasan Srikandi Sejati by using the case study method, with primary data collected through interview with key informants from the three NGOs and analyzed with the Theory of Cognitive Dissonance. Numerous coverage mainly those telling the negative treatment towards LGBT triggers various forms of defense and protection in the name of humanity and human rights. The results of this study indicate that LGBTs who are considered incompatible with the cultural and social norms prevailing in society have the rights to receive social support. Social support provided by Arus Pelangi covers program campaigning on the socialization of basic human rights and the eliminaton of discriminatory action on LGBT and advocacy which are the casuistic and the one on public policy. Casuistic advocacy is a legalJurnal Avant Garde Volume 4 Nomor 2 Desember 2016 18activity on cases of litigation and non-litigation affecting LGBT. Advocacy on public policy is a series of legal actions against all discriminatory government policies, for example is the rejection of the Bill on Anti-Pornography and Porn Actions (RUU-APP). Inter Medika Foundation and Yayasan Srikandi Sejati are NGOs that focus on health assistance or counseling, for examples are on issues of sexually transmitted diseases and prevention of the spread of HIV/AIDS among LGBTs, by having cooperation with the local government and several hospitals in Jakarta.

Media plays an important role as an actor to disseminate information to the public. Without the mass media, the government will be very difficult to reach people quickly. Therefore, the presence of media becomes one of the right channel used as a tool by the government in disseminating information. Abstract

Background of research is there is a rebranding of URBANrkm 99.5 FM become Smooth Radio who have very different characteristics that caused by changing ownership. Rebranding makes the company should face all of external stakeholder’s respons and doing all steps implementations of any changes to create the company’s new image. The theory used is communication, public relations, implementation, rebranding and the concept definitions of image. Research Methode used is qualitative approuch with descriptive as the type of research. Key informan of this research is the Director Program of URBANrkm 99.5 FM Radio and Smooth Radio, with three informants, marketing communications of Smooth Radio, and two loyal listener of URBANrkm 99.5 FM Radio. Research Result, in making program and public relation’s activities on rebranding phase, Smooth Radio use five steps of implementation that appropriate with Wheelen and Hunger’s theory, there are also some change that done by Smooth Radio to create their new image. Conclusion, URBANrkm 99.5 FM Radio succesed to maintain their image on external stakeholder’s eyes when their crisis time through their public relation’s activities that they done. In another hand, Smooth Radio also succesed to show their image through all implementation’s step they done and by changing their identity with some evaluation that should to be their attention.

Abstract

There are still many differences in the views of the public relations profession, namely as a "handyman" read the news, frontline, photographer, maker of the press conference, reception, to the functions of public relations as a strategic planner in the decision-making body or a part of the dominant coalition. Perceptions of a profession that is contained in an organization, it is significant because it may affect how a person appreciate the work or duties, and qualifications of the professional field. This research was conducted in order to reveal the existence of phenomena that occur on the Public Relations profession in the District Government Pangandaran. The method used in the form of quantitative methods and the types of descriptive survey study. The respondents were selected were government officials working in the district administration Pangandaran with data collection is done by means of the distribution of questionnaires, interviews, observation, and literature studies. The results showed that the apparatus of government in the district of Pangandaran has to perceive / interpret the qualifications Public Relations profession is well on aspects of the ability to communicate, ability to organize, ability to get on with people, and imagination. However, in the aspect of personal integrity there that consider a Public Relations officials do not have to come from public relations education / communication and should not be a woman.

Abstract

Game Pokemon Go is one form of representation of the culture medium which presents a simulated world by building signs in it through the storyline, gameplay, environments, and characters the game, so it becomes a digital culture. Pokemon character design, in this case is Bulbasaur, capable of causing factors curious and addicted to the players as a result of the application of methods manga- matrix, color theory, and techniques of morphological forced connections through visual transformation of character design. This study is a qualitative research based on the application of the principle of manga-matrix includes internal and external factors on the character, the analysis of similarities or relationships between theories related to visual elements and interpretation of the meaning of the characters, as well as a mix of theories on character designs reflecting the ideology of Satoshi Tajiri in terms implementation of Japanese culture. The identification results of data analysis visual transformation of the character designs Bulbasaur has much in common with the presence of additional elements on the diversity of character visualization Bulbasaur. Variety Bulbasaur form the foundation for thinking and the creation of the character as a media introduction of visual transformation of a game character design.

Abstract

Radio 'Java' Safari 1134 AM is one of the private radio station in Jakarta. Radio 'Java' Safari 1134 AM have a Public Relations role in cooperating with the audience. In this study Radio 'Java' Safari 1134 AM cooperating with the Bank Central Java. Cooperation undertaken Radio 'Java' Safari 1134 AM with the Bank of Central Java in the form of services, through the promotion and publicity programs and products Bank Central Java. This study aims to determine how the role of the Public Radio 'Java' Safari 1134 AM in cooperation with Bank Central Java. Formulation of the problem is "What is the Role of Public Relations Radio 'Java' Safari 1134 AM in cooperation with the Bank Central Java" This research method is descriptive qualitative. These results indicate that, the Role of Public Relations' Radio 'Java' Safari 1134 AM in cooperation with the Bank of Central Java PR act as Communicator, Public Relations Radio 'Java' Safari 1134 AM establish communication with the Bank of Central Java in terms of offering cooperation Relationship through relationships forged as foster mutual friendship, hold a lunch or a coffee break and discipline at the time meet and also broadcasts time. Good Image Maker to build a positive image. Cooperation is carried out through the promotion and publicity of products and programs Bank of Central Java to the listeners of Radio 'Java' Safari 1134 AM in order to aim the listener or the public can find products and programs Bank Central Java opening up the opportunity for the listener to be able to join and become a new customer of Bank of Central Java , Cooperation Radio 'Java' Safari 1134 AM with Bank Central Java has existed long enough, and under this agreement the two sides benefited. Radio 'Java' Safari 1134 AM is able to maintain good relations with Bank Central Java that cooperation still runs today. This research was conducted in October-November, 2016.
