Abstract

School is a place to construct the character and personality of student. In the current status qou, the teaching and learning process in the school is often misslead with the development of its student, one of the behavior is bullying. The case of bullying is not only involved the perpetrator and victim but also the bystander. This 3rd actor can determine whether the act of bullying can be dismissed or not. This study aimed to know the role of bystander while the act of bullying occurs. The purpose of this study was to analyze and discuss the patterns of bystander's helping behavior to the victims of intimidation. The method utilized in this study was a qualitative design with open ended questioner. The data analysis of this study was using the descriptive analysis. The stages consist of research analyze, library research, data collection which used to analyze the data by describing or analyzing the collected data, determining the categories, and to draw the conclusions. The participants of this study were 150 students of Surakarta X Vocational High School who has the similar characteristics as observers. The results of this study found that the actions taken by bystander when encountering bullying in schools were reporting to the teachers (42.67%), suggesting the victims to avoid the perpetrators (30%), separating the actors (16%), and helping victim to fight offender (11.33%).

Abstract

Retirement is a very complex lifestyle transition. If you aren’t ready to deal with these changes then feel unhappiness will most likely occur. Meeting the needs of psychological well-being is a form happiness. Gratitude is a form of happiness expressed by someone and is accosiated to psychological well-being. In addition to gratitude, social support can have a positive impact on individual’s helath and well-being. This studi aims to determine the relationship of gratitude and social support for psychological well-being in post-service civil servants. The subjects used in this study were full-time civil servants, totaling 80 men and women. In this study, Sampling using incidental sampling techniques. This study uses a quantitative approach. The data collection tools used in this study were gratitude scale, social support scale, and psychological well-being scale. Data analysis was performed with multiple regression tests. Based on the result of the analysis shows that there is a positive and significant relationship between gratitude and social support with psychological well-being in the post of civil service.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menemukan faktor-faktor yang mendorong serta memberikan gambaran dinamika mantan pecandu narkoba di Yayasan Mitra Alam Surakarta untuk melakukan self forgiveness.Informan dalam penelitian ini adalah mantan pecandu narkoba yang merupakan warga binaan dari Yayasan Mitra Alam yang memiliki rasa bersalah terhadap diri sendiri terhadap perilakunya di masa lalu dan saat ini sedang melakukan proses self forgiveness. Metode penelitian dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Metode pengumpulan data yang dilakukan adalah melalui observasi dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model interaktif Miles & Huberman Hasil penelitian : faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pemaafan diri (self forgiveness) kedua informan ada beberapa yang sama yaitu : suka bersosialisasi, mau memaafkan pelaku karena merasa bahwa apa yang informan alami adalah kesalahan mereka bukan pelaku,atribusi terhadap pelaku dimana apa yang sudah dilakukan oleh pelaku didasari oleh motif ekonomi namun perbedaannya subyek kedua juga melihat bahwa pelaku melakukan hal tersebut karena didasari oleh motif keakraban dalam pertemanan. ia mencoba untuk berpikir di sisi lain (reframing) bahwa peristiwa yang terjadi di masa lalunya juga dialami oleh orang lain, bukan hanya dirinya saja. Secara umum, dinamika dari proses pemaafan diri kedua informan yang berawal dari sebuah kejadian penyalahgunaan narkoba hingga akhirnya muncul rasa bersalah dan karena merasa tidak nyaman dengan hal tersebut, kedua informan melakukan tahap pemaafan diri yang didukung oleh faktor-faktor diatas. Kedua informan tersebut mereka sama-sama sudah berusaha untuk melakukan tahapan dalam memaafkan diri (self forgiveness), namun ada perbedaan dalam pencapaian tahap pemaafan.

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of father-daughter attachment towards adolescent depressive symptoms in Bandung. The sampling technique in this study was purposive sampling with a questionnaire data collection method. The instruments used in this study were the Inventory of Parent And Peer Attachment (IPPA) and Beck Depression Inventory (BDI). The sample in this study were 64 teenage girls in Bandung aged 15-24 years who have experienced three symptoms of depression for at least 2 weeks. The simple linear regression test results show that the higher the father attachment, the lower the depressive symptoms of female adolescents in Bandung. However, the magnitude of this influence is only 13.9%. For future researchers who are interested in investigating further about this variable, it is suggested to include control variables that can contribute to depressive symptoms, such as self-esteem, self-concept, self-efficacy, attributional style, and social support.

Abstract

ABSTRACT. The risk-taking issue of sexual behavior at a young age often leads to bad damage for the teenager and its surroundings when viewed as an asset of a nation to engage in such an aspect of development, the preoccupation of sexual behavior must be overcome by involving a number of important factors among famlies, school, peers, religiousity, social media, and local cultural values. The aims of the discussion, then is to recognize the simultaneous impact of six preventive factors : risky sexual behavior on the teenager, and individual relationships with adolescent risky sexual behavior. The methods used are double-regression quantitative and the correlation by Karl Pearson. Participant engaged by 150 students (sevent – nine grade) with saturated technique sampling. The scales that used are the parent-adolescent relationship scale (Hair, dkk., 2005), quality of school life scale (Eptein dan McPartland, 1998), CAYCI peer relationship scale : middle/high school student version (Butcher, dkk., 2016), the adolescent religious coping scale (Bjorck, 2009), outside and inside school media of behavior scale (Lu, dkk., 2018), cultural intelligence scale (Earley dan Ang, 2003), and the scale of risky sexual behavior. The result of the research hypothesis is accepted, which means there are simultaneous effect of six factors on adolescent risky sexual behavior with a value of 9,179 and of significance = 0,000, and there is a significant negative relationship between each factor and the risky sexual behavior of adolescents. The value of the six preventive factors is in high categroies, and the risky sexual behavior of adolescents is in a low category. This result indicates that six specific factors can be established as a primary mediator incoping with sexual behavior at risk for the adolescence of the platinum generation

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of mindfulness training to reduce the stress levels of 7 students in SMK X Pundong who have moderate to severe stress levels. The stress level was measured using the DASS scale. This research is categorized into experimental research type with one group pretest-posttest design. The data obtained were then analyzed using the non-parametric Wilcoxon test method to see the difference between students’ stress levels before and after the intervention through the IBM SPSS Statistics 25 for windows program. The results showed that there were significant differences in students’ stress levels before and after the intervention was given with a value of p = 0.018 (p <0.05). This proves that mindfulness training can reduce the stress levels of students in class X.
