Abstract

Valuable assets for companies are not only things related to objects or securities. However, company assets that are no less important than these things are qualified human resources. Employees with good performance contribute positively to the company. Therefore, optimal management is required. This research was conducted at Tanjung Sekon LPG Terminal, which is one of the terminals located in Cilegon City, Banten. The population size is 106 employees, and a sample of 52 employees was taken using the Slovin method. Mental workload was measured using the NASA-TLX method. Based on the results obtained, it can be determined that 5 employees have a moderate mental workload, 34 employees have a high mental workload score, and 13 employees have a very high mental workload. Based on the comparison of NASA TLX elements, the most dominant result among the 52 employees is that 31.5% of employees have high mental demand (MD), followed by 23.6% of employees with high temporal demand (TD), and 22.8% of employees with high physical demand (PD).

Abstract

Abstract

The increasing amount of debt experienced by companies in the transportation sector in recent years has attracted researchers' interest to explore the topic of capital structure as the main focus of this research. This study aims to analyze the effect of profitability ratios and liquidity ratios on the composition of the company's capital structure. The profitability variable is represented using the Return on Assets (ROA) metric, while liquidity is represented by the Current Ratio (CR), and the capital structure is measured by the Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR). The approach used in this research is a quantitative method, with data analysis using Multiple Linear Regression techniques performed with the help of SPSS software. The sample selection was carried out using the Purposive Sampling method on transportation companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period 2017-2022. The results showed that simultaneously, profitability and liquidity have a significant influence on the company's capital structure. Separately, profitability has a significant positive influence, while liquidity has a significant negative influence on the company's capital structure.

Abstract

Arranging work schedules for operators is one of the problems every business faces. The regulations set by the company, the amount of man power available, and the distribution of work weights are determining factors in the scheduling system. This operator scheduling problem can be modeled as an integer programming problem. Integer programming is an optimization technique with a linear objective function, linear constraint function, and decision variables in the form of integers. In this research, we will discuss the use of goal programming to provide a solution to the scheduling problem of molding operators at PT ABC which still uses manual methods in scheduling. The method used is the integer goal programming method which is a method that can provide solutions to multi-objective problems. This research was carried out with the aim of finding out the correct modeling model for molding operator scheduling using the goal programming method by fulfilling all the constraints that have been set and the desired goal, namely minimizing the total molding operator shift with the help of Lingo software for subsequent implementation at PT ABC.

Abstract

In 2024, automotive industry players are projected to experience an increase, this will occur in two-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicles. In line with this development, companies are required to always maintain their productivity and comply with the rules in implementing Occupational Health and Safety, the implementation of K3 is a management policy in order to protect workers and the company in the short and long term. Identification of potential hazards and efforts to prevent work accidents in Automotive Company production areas is one way to prevent work accidents. The method used in this research is HIRARC (Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Risk Control), through direct observation procedures, interviews with employees, and analysis of documents related to work safety. In the hazard identification stage, 9 potential hazards were found in traffic accidents, namely operators being hit by finished products, being hit by drums of chemicals on the Tank line, being scratched by cutting tools on the cutting line, being rolled up by rolls of foam on the Foaming line, fires, the risk of exposure to noise on the HR-line. 2, exposed to fire in the Flame Laminate line, and exposed to chemicals in the spoiler & painting line. Potential Risk assessment resulted in categories of 11% extreme, 45% hard, 22% medium, and 22% medium. Risk control is proposed in the extreme category, namely the need for good design of traffic displays and vehicle substitution. In the hard category, it is proposed to increase discipline regarding SOP and APD in handling finished products, using cutting tools, handling flammable materials, handling Flame Lamenate machines. By proposing several treatment options for controlling both extreme and hard risks, automotive companies can reduce the risk of accidents, increase productivity, and create a safe work environment.
