This study aims to determine how the mastery of the DDC classification subject has on the abilities of the students of the 2017-2019 Library Science study program in determining the DDC notation. This study took a sample of 99 students of the Library Science study program at UIN Raden Fatah Palembang in 2017-2019. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative. Methods of data collection in this study in the form of questionnaires and documentation.The data processing technique in this research is to analyze the data using the grand mean formula. The results of the analysis show that the average total score of mastery of DDC classification courses is 0.61 which can be categorized as high because it is in the 0.60-0.80 interval. Meanwhile, the ability to determine notation is also known by performing calculations using the grand mean formula, the results show that the average total value of the ability to determine notation is 0.62 which can be categorized as high because it is in the 0.60-0.80 interval. Furthermore, based on the analysis using simple linear regression, the result of the coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.807 or 80.7% the ability to determine notation is influenced by the mastery of the DDC classification course and based on the results of hypothesis testing that it is known that the hypothesis or H1 is accepted because tcount ttable (20,113 1.66071) which states that there is an influence of mastery of the DDC classification course on the ability to determine notation.

Chatbot is a digital technology based on artificial intelligence that has been utilized by various libraries to support the efficiency of information services. The use of chatbots is considered capable of creating a smart library ecosystem so it is important to continue to be developed so that customers are satisfied with the information services provided. This study aims to provide an overview of the benefits that can be obtained by libraries from implementing chatbots to achieve the concept of a smart library. The method used in this study is a literature review from the Google Scholar and Scopus database. There are 5 articles as the main research data. The results show that there are at least 2 benefits that can be obtained from implementing chatbots in library information services, namely: personalized information services and integration of cyberspace with libraries. In personalized information services, customers can get information that suits their needs without having to be overwhelmed with unnecessary information. As for integrating cyber space with real life, customers are able to access services without having to come to the location. Efficiency is the key word in the use of technology to support library services. More in-depth empirical research on chatbots, especially in Indonesia, needs to be carried out to be able to develop and evaluate the use of this technology.

Information literacy program that can be categorized as a training program requires evaluation to show whether the program has been achieved as expected. This study aims to develop a literacy program and determine the effectiveness of the information literacy program on Library Visit Day. The study used a descriptive research method with the research population being all participants of the information literacy program on the 2019 Library Visit Day at the Ministry of Agriculture's PUSTAKA totaling 69 people. Samples were taken from 27 participants in the literacy class for researchers and students, and 42 people in the literacy class for extension workers/farmers/general public. The research method refers to the evaluation of the effectiveness of the training program/training Kirkpatrick (2004). The results of the study show that all of the indicators assessed (level 1-level 4) in the evaluation of the information literacy program carried out by PUSTAKA on Library Visit Day 2019 were considered very satisfactory even though they had not been able to meet the 100% expectations. The improvement strategies needed to improve the information literacy program in the future are: socialization through various media is needed with sufficient time; development of training materials; additional time for the implementation of the literacy program; literacy development programs for students; making a guide for program literacy participants; develop literacy programs directly to extension workers and farmers in the field.

The tradition of storytelling is one of the local wisdoms that serves to convey moral messages by parents to children through fairy tales. The existence of fairy tales in the digital era is a challenge for parents to tell as part of the preservation of moral and cultural values. Because digital tales are able to present interesting visuals for children. This study aims to analyze how the continuity of the tradition of oral fable speech in the digital era by parents of the children under the age of 11 in Kampung Kaum Cianjur. The method used is a combination. The sampling technique uses saturated sampling. The result of this study indicated that the tradition of storytelling in Kampung Kaum Cianjur is still going well. This can be seen from the answers of parents who are still doing of storytelling as much as 74% and parents have no difficulty when storytelling as much as 86%. 93% of parents in Kampung Kaum Cianjur still recognize the typical Cianjur tales such as the myth of the Kuda Kosong, Eyang Suryakancana, and Pangguyangan Badak Putih, even though most parents said they had rarely told Cianjur tales compared to other popular tales.

Preliminary. This study aims to find out what is the cause of the delay in returning books at the USK Library. This research is needed as a reference for library evaluation in improving return services and as a form of continuous improvement in library circulation services. The results of this study are expected to minimize delays in returning books by users and improve discipline and quality of library circulation.Research methods. This research is descriptive quantitative, the method used is a survey. The population in this study was the number of users who were late in returning books in 2017 amounted to 6101 people, the number of samples was determined based on the slovin formula of 375 samples, but those who returned intact were 373 questionnaires. The data collection technique used an instrument by distributing a questionnaire containing 5 questions. The data analysis technique in this study uses descriptive analysis method.Results and Discussion. Based on the survey results, the average cause of delays in returning books was because they forgot about 227 respondents (60.9%), the answer choices did not want to return books on time because they still needed the collection as many as 78 people (20.9%). The reason for the three respondents chose other reasons as many as 26 people (7%), the reason was because books were borrowed by friends as many as 21 people (5.6%). Respondents who chose to lose their loan receipts were 13 people (3.5), while those who stated that the collection was lost and had just been found were 5 people (1.3%), users who said they didn't have time to return books were 3 people (0.8%). The average answer that dominates, the user forgets to return the book according to the schedule so that it is late and is subject to fines.Conclusion. The reason why users often return books late is because they forget, in following up on these results, libraries can minimize the causes of delays by utilizing the development of UILIS mobile, by adding notifications before the due date at least one day in advance so that users are more disciplined and not late in returning books.

The school library is a facility and pre-facility to support teaching and learning activities at the school level because the school library is an integral part of the education program at the school level. The school library is designed to meet the information needs of the community in every school environment, especially teachers and students. In the school library there are various collections that must be processed so that they are easy to use by library visitors or users. The things that can be done by librarian is cataloging library materials or collections to facilitate the process of retrieval of information needed by users. Therefore, this study uses descriptive qualitative research methods, in order to be able to describe how the cataloging in the library of SMA N 1 Payakumbuh. From the data and research results, it is known that the activity of cataloging or cataloging has followed and is in accordance with the cataloging system guided by the International Standard Bibliographic Description (ISBD). In the process of cataloging collections or library materials using SLiMS is an convenience for librarians in data management so that it affects the services provided to library visitors or users.

The purpose of this study was to measure and analyze usability evaluation on the SLiMS Version 8 Akasia work page interface using the Nilsen's Attributes of Usability questionnaire method which consists of 5 indicators, namely Learnibility (easy to learn), Efficiency (efficient), Memorability (easy to remember), Error (failure), and Satisfaction (satisfaction). This type of research is descriptive with a quantitative approach. The limit of this study only discusses the usability level of the SLiMS 8 Akasia back office interface, not only on other interface pages in the SLiMS Version 8 Akasia application. The samples chosen were staff or librarians who were accustomed to using the SLiMS Version 8 Akasia application to support their daily work. The results of tabulation and analysis of respondent data stated their agreement on each indicator statement of Learnibility, Efficiency, Memorability, and Satisfaction. Meanwhile, respondents stated that the answer was neutral on the Error indicator

School’s library has the some functions. One of the school’s library functions is as the source of learning. Students literate reading and writing at the library as library’s service. But not all the students have the same competencies to do basic literacy. Consequently, the students are not able to use the library as source of learning. The students have the lack of understanding in basic literacy but they are in junior high school. So that, the teacher designs the technique in learning basic literacy (LIterasi Baca tuliS) or LI-BAS by using consultation, independence, moral suggestion (KOnsultasi, MANdiri, DOrongan moral) or Ko-Man-Do. The goal of the research is helping the students who has lacked of literacy to solve their problems in learning especially reading and writing in simply. The method of the research applies qualitative-description by describing the condition of discussing objects in preceding and post condition. The data collection is by using observation and interview. The data be analyzed by description of reading and writing competencies based on the categories. The research subjects consist of 4 students who have lacked of understanding in basic literacy. The result of research shows that increasing in basic literacy –reading and writing- after application of the Ko-Man-Do technique. The students be able to read words, phrases, sentence and paragraph. The enhancement of the research is about 38% in average. The final discussion reveals that the Ko-Man-Do technique potentially increase student’s ability in basic literacy – reading and writing – in the school’s library.

Bibliometric analysis of publicity data on the handling of Covid-19 in Indonesia was carried out using Tableau and Vosviewer software. The research was conducted by using the literature search method using Google Scholar. The search was carried out from March 2020 to September 2020 using the keywords Covid-19 and Indonesia. The search results are then grouped based on author name, title and publication source. The results of grouping publications for Covid-19 handlers using Microsof Exel are grouped based on handling criteria. For publication sources analyzed using Software Tableau. Meanwhile, writer collaboration and keyword mapping were analyzed using the VosViewer software. The results of the analysis based on the criteria for handling Covid-19 show that most publications are in the form of treatment / prevention then followed by the impact / effect. Collaboration analysis using VosViewer software shows that Ian Huang is the most collaborative writer with 20 publications, followed by Raymond Pranata with 15 publications. The most publications on handling Covid-19 were published in Medica Hospitalia with 29 articles, followed by SALAM: Syar'i Social and Cultural Journal with 18 articles. Mapping results using VosViewer show that the handling of Covid-19 is divided into 4 clusters. Based on the visualization map, it is known that the most widely carried out research publications on Covid-19 are prevention / control in the context of accelerating the handling of the Covid pandemic, then followed by government policies in dealing with Covid-19 and economic policies during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Library material selection is one of the main tasks performed by librarians at National Library of Indonesia in the implementation of library collection development. Compilation of library material selection list, especially foreign monographs, performed by librarians often results in diverse format, incomplete fill in bibliography description, inaccurate pricing, less effective and efficient in the process. It is caused by no standard format in compiling of foreign monographs library material selection list assigned as reference for librarians. This research uses software engineering approach to produce e-form application prototype of library material selection list. Data is collected by interview with stakeholders. Development of e-form application of library materials selection list was designed according topredefined standard format. This research has succeeded in developing application that can improve effectiveness and efficiency in compiling library material selection list, therefore the next workflow, acquisiton of library collection in National Library of Indonesia, can be achieved quickly, precisely, and accurately.
