Libraries can make a voluntary program involving their users. The Friends of the Library Program conducted by the Library and Knowledge Center of Binus University is one example. The program allows members to get involved in the daily operations of the Library and Knowledge Center of Binus University. The program has also attracted the attention of academician and the university leaders of Binus University International. Based on this background, this study is conducted to understand the role of this program in marketing the services of the Library and Knowledge Center of Binus University International. This study is a preliminary research using a qualitative approach with exploratory method. The results reveal that this program plays a pertinent role in marketing the services of the Library and Knowledge Center of Binus University International through the members and alumni of the Friends of the Library program.

Salah satu indikator keberhasilan sebuah perpustakaan adalah dari tingkat keterpakaian dan kebermafaatan bagi penggunanya. Perpustakaan Desa Ciseeng merupakan salah satu program PkM yang bertujuan sebagai pusat sumber informasi dan pengetahuan bagi warga desa dalam meningkatkan harkat dan martabat hidupnya dari berbagai sisi ekonomi, politik, sosial dan budaya, Adanya pandemik Covid-19 sangat berdampak pada bebagai sendi kehidupan. Salah satunya di sektor pendidikan. Proses belajar mengajar secara tatap muka telah digantikan secara daring. Sehingga keberadaan perpustakaan desa menjadi salah satu solusi pemenuhan kebutuhan informasi bagi masyarakat desa Ciseeng..Upaya lain untuk merevitalisasi  perpustakaan desa Ciseeng adalah melalui pelatihan literasi digital bagi para Ibu-Ibu PKK yang sangat diperlukan. Apalagi di masa pandemik keterampilan literasi digital menjadi keterampilan hidup yangs angat penting bagi setiap orang. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi pelaksanaan kegiatan diperoleh hasil bahwa terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan bagi para Ibu-Ibu PKK dalam mengidentifikasi sumber-sumber informasi elektronik apa saja yang dapat digunakan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran, strategi penelusuran sumber-sumber informasi digital serta penerapan dalam mengakses sumber-sumber informasi elektronik, serta peningkatan kemampuan dalam mengevaluasi informasi. AbstractLibrary catalogues are used to search collections and simplify the retrieval process. Currently, most library catalogues have built in the online form known as the Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC). The OPAC interface is important because it plays as a medium for connecting people with applications or systems. The interface can determine theeffectiveness and efficiency of the software. It analyzed by usability testing. The usability testing has not been conducted on Senayan Library Management System (SLiMS) OPAC interface. This research aims to analyze the usability of the SLiMS's OPAC interface at the Library of Indonesian National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB Library).The research conducted by Checklist and Think Aloud method. The motives for the use of media are different, one of the factors is gender. This study aims to see the motives for using printed rare books in the National Library of Indonesia and whether there is a different motive for using printed rare books between men and women. The population of this research is active e-mail users, registered members of the National Library of Indonesia, and who have read printed rare books. This type of research is quantitative using the Uses and Gratification method. The sample size is 75 respondents. The sampling technique used was proportional stratified random sampling. Based on the results of the analysis, there are 4 motives for using printed rare books, namely Information Motive, Personal Identity Motive, Integrity Motive and Social Interaction, and Entertainment Motive. The total results show that the most dominant motive for using rare books printed in the National Library of Indonesia is information on motives, with a proportion of 87% and 83% to satisfy their curiosity and to learn about events and environmental conditions after reading printed rare books. The lowest motive is the personal identity motive with a proportion of 70% and 67% to adapt the behavior and behavior values obtained when reading rare books printed in everyday life and ready to see information about events or environmental conditions in the past, latest or rare. The results of hypothesis testing show that H1 is rejected and H0 is accepted with a sig 0.05, namely 0.869 0.05, so it can be said that there is no difference in motives for using rare books in the National Library of Indonesia between men and women.

Library staff is regulated under the Library Act number 43 of 2007, and in the standard of higher education library implementation. Managing the library staff is one of the elements in the library management process. Problems in this library staff management can disrupt the service and operation of the library. The need of library staff is to be planned by considering quantity and qualifications. In the previous study of Trijaya Nusamedia University Library (pseudonym), problems related to library staff were discussed. This raised a question about the availability of library staff in Trijaya Nusamedia University Library. This study was conducted to determine the ideal number of library staff (librarians and library technician staff) needed in Trijaya Nusamedia University Library by analyzing it using an adoption of Ranganathan 's formula based on the condition of the library. The results of the study showed that the number of library staff in Trijaya Nusamedia University Library was still not ideal.

Vocabulary Control Nusantara Website is a voluntary movement that focused work on developing the index language automation system web-based, which is everyone can contribute to the development of site content. From the beginning of the movement until now Vocabulary Control Nusantara Website still in the development stage and no assessment evaluates the level of usability of the website. Therefore, usability analysis is needed to measure the level usability of the Vocabulary Control Nusantara Website and also to predict the potential benefits which will be obtained later when this movement complete. This study does a usability analysis on the homepage and backend page of the Vocabulary Control Nusantara Website by using the WEBUSE method to measure how good the level usability website. The analysis results show on the homepage page get the level usability “Good”, although there are two categories on the backend page which gets the level usability “Moderate”. Besides, there are some unsolved problems that are recommended to further testing and implementation redesign websites.

Information is recorded in information media that is collected by library management. The information will be lost if the collections are damaged. The library functions to preserve collections to ensure information access sustainability. One threat is mouse infestation. Not much attention has been given to the effects of mouse infestation disturbances and how mice can potentially damage collections. This research aims to find out how and why mouse disruptions occur in the library and what preservation measures are taken by the library to counter this. This research is a case study conducted in the Indonesian Politics Study Center. This study reveals that mouse infestation disruptions are not too much of a concern at the Indonesian Politics Study Center, as preservation activities have not been conducted extensively.

Temu kembali informasi kesehatan dibutuhkan untuk memudahkan para peneliti yang ada di Yarsi TB Care. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisi kebutuhan informasi kesehatan dan merancang pathfinder untuk memenuhi kebutuhan informasi kesehatan di yarsi TB Care. Populasi penelitian ini adalah 5 orang anggota YARSI TB Care. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif untuk medeskripsikan kebutuhan seperti apa yang dibutuhkan untuk kegiatan penelitian dan pengabdian masyarakat. Teknik sampling menggunakan Nonprobability Sampling jenis sampling jenuh. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tentang analisis kebutuhan, topik informasi yang dibutuhkan oleh responden adalah data kasus terbaru pasien tuberkulosis disuatu wilayah dan laporan terbaru tentang tuberculosis dari Kementerian Kesehatan. Responden memilih mencari informasi yang dibutuhkan melalui internet, selain itu responden memilih buku sebagai referensi informasi tercetak, sedangkan untuk referensi informasi elektronik responden memilih pathfinder. Responden membutuhkan informasi yang disampaikan oleh pihak-pihak yang berwenang terhadap bidang kesehatan, seperti Kementerian kesehatan/dinas kesehatan dan Informasi yang disampaikan oleh para ahli kesehatan seperti : dokter. Selain itu responden juga membutuhkan informasi yang terkini/terbaru. Proses pembuatan rancangan Pathfinder dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari dua tahap yakni tahap analisis kebutuhan informasi dan tahap rancangan. Analisis kebutuhan informasi diperlukan agar konten yang ada di dalam pathfinder sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna. Adapun sumber informasi dalam rancangan pathfinder ini yang nantinya dapat digunakan sebagai sumber referensi anggota YARSI TB CARE dalam melakukan penelitian adalah sebagai berikut: Buku, Buku Abstrak, data statistic Guidelines, Infodatin Kementerian Kesehatan, Laws and Regulations in Indonesia, Report/Laporan dan Website Organisasi tuberkulosis.

The purpose of this study was to measure and analyze usability evaluation on the SLiMS Version 8 Akasia work page interface using the Nilsen's Attributes of Usability questionnaire method which consists of 5 indicators, namely Learnibility (easy to learn), Efficiency (efficient), Memorability (easy to remember), Error (failure), and Satisfaction (satisfaction). This type of research is descriptive with a quantitative approach. The limit of this study only discusses the usability level of the SLiMS 8 Akasia back office interface, not only on other interface pages in the SLiMS Version 8 Akasia application. The samples chosen were staff or librarians who were accustomed to using the SLiMS Version 8 Akasia application to support their daily work. The results of tabulation and analysis of respondent data stated their agreement on each indicator statement of Learnibility, Efficiency, Memorability, and Satisfaction. Meanwhile, respondents stated that the answer was neutral on the Error indicator
