Jurnal Ilmiah Syi’ar, published by Da’wah Faculty of Bengkulu State Islamic Institut since 2007. The subject covers textual and fieldwork studies with various focuses of communication, conseling, development and empowerment of community, management, and many more (the central focus of Islamic sciences). In the beginning the journal only served as a scholarly forum for the lecturers and professors at internal of the Institute. However, due to the later development with a broader readership, the journal has successfully invited scholars and researchers outside the Institute to contribute.

Abstract

Berbicara mengenai manusia adalah persoalan yang tidak habis habisnya untuk didiskusikan. Dalam berbagai aliran psikologi, seperti psikoanalisa (klasik) Sigmund Freud memandang bahwa prilaku manusia banyak dipengaruhi oleh masa lalu, alam tak sadar, dorongan dorongan biologis yang selalu menuntut kenikmatan untuk segera dipenuhi. Abstract

Islamic education aims to shape the Islamic character of each individual. Education is sourced from the Qur’an and As-Sunnah. IAIN Bengkulu, as an Islamic university is certainly responsible for giving birth to a generation or scholar of scientific knowledge and noble character. However, in the current reality, one of the vision and mission of IAIN Bengkulu to give birth to academic Persons with Islamic principles can not be reached maximally. This is evidenced by the still large number of IAIN students who are not performing the duties that the religion mandates. Well, in prayer, read the Qur’an, association and so forth. This issue becomes a shared responsibility to overcome them. Therefore, the authors offer the wrong concept of Islamic coaching with halaqoh model, as an alternative to Islamic character building on IAIN Bengkulu

Abstract

The purpose of this study to determine the application of the principle of da’wah management and supporting and inhibiting factors in socialization BMT Al-Muawanah in Sumber Rejo Village. This research uses qualitative descriptive with descriptive method, while the informant use snowball sampling amounted to 6 people. Data collection using interviews, observation and documentation. The application made in the socialization is the first principle of amar makruf nahi mungkar in the form of invite the community to understand the BMT and prevent them join in broker riba (renternir). Second, the obligation to uphold the truth in the form of honest and open management. Third, the principle of enforcing justice in a fair form between fellow administrators and members. Fourth, the principle of obligation to convey the mandate of the agreement in accordance with an agreed contract. Supporting and inhibiting factors in the socialization of BMT Al-Muawanah in Sumber Rejo Village. Supporting factors of the community itself gain knowledge about BMT both bookkeeping, and administration and level of public awareness while the board itself is facilitated by IAIN through the dedication of Lecturers While the pengahmbat factor of the community that is less open and the lack of level of public awareness itself and inhibiting factors of the board less leisure time as well as a location far from the city.

Abstract

Agama perlu dipahami secara komprehensif. Agama memiliki dimensi  damai dan agama memiliki dimensi keras atau intoleran. Keberadaan agama sangat universal, dan berhubungan erat dengan pemahaman, pengalaman, dan pengaktualisasian nilai-nilai agama oleh penganut orang yang beragama. Beragama berdasarkan kebutuhan psikologis memerlukan pendekatan khusus, tidak hanya membahas benar-salah tetapi lebih dari itu harus dilihat secara mendalam terhadap jiwa orang yang beragama. Puncaknya tidak hanya menjalankan ritual dan verbalis dalam beragama, tetapi sudah harus mengarah pada pemaknaan hidup yang muncul dari jiwa yang suci. Akhirnya, agama diharapkan mampu memberikan solusi terhadap permasalahan jiwa penganut suatu agama. Agama yang toleran, saling menghargai, dan saling menyayangi.

Abstract

The development was accompanied by advances in information technology communication media. As with any communication, Islamic missionary activities in absolute need of media propaganda. Submission of propaganda message of Islam today ideally utilize the media can reach the general public and rigorous, one of the mass communication media that can be used in the Islamic Propagation communication is television media. Television has a diverse audience and almost every time hit viewers, for the propaganda on television today is quite can be calculated.

Abstract

Multicultural society is a multi-cultural, religious, ethnic and racial society.Communication process is done requires a certain strategy so that interactionbetween individuals in the community can take place properly. The communicationstrategy is carried out by elements of the society, from traditional leaders, ethnicleaders, religious leaders, community leaders to even the smallest element of society. The communication strategy should be able to demonstrate its operational ways practically, in the sense that the approach may vary from time to time depending on circumstances.

Abstract

Literacy is a problem for various developing countries and among people who are still experiencing illiteracy are women, various strategies and theories used to eradicate literacy among the community. The author described an alternative to literacy eradication for mosque-based women using qualitative methods with a sociological approach. in this research it was found that the stronger the motivation and means of gathering such as mosques, the more opportunities for women to hone their abilities, especially in the field of literacy, would be more open.

Abstract

Comprehensively  institutions development may interprented as one form of education reform offers to remedy campus organizing learning activities better and adequate for students. Autonomy in education is great potential for integration, interaction, connection and even intra-built scientific connections. Besides, practically also have an impact on enhancing performance, providing excellent service, and order administration. This spirit is the beginning of construction in welcoming the birth of the Faculty of Da’wa and Communication IAIN Bengkulu. In this article, the authors start from a historical perspective da’wah normatis scientific-theological to the practical- aplikated exposure to the study of propaganda facultative.
