Abstract

As an Islamic educational institution with a dormitory system, a kiyai as a central figure and a mosque as the central point that animates the doctrine of independence, self-help, self-help, entrepreneurship, should be able to support many people are the motivations that are often conveyed in many occasions so that the intention or the motivation of being an entrepreneur is carried away in such a way that post life passes Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor (PMDG).. How does the strategy to grow the entrepreneurial interest of santri is instilled in the form of assignments and education indirectly. This study aims to produce studies and the discovery of strategies of forms of assignment and education that shape the behavior of entrepreneurs that foster the entrepreneurial interest of santri. The method in this research is by using quantitative research method. The location of this research is at Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor Putra in Ponorogo and Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor Putri in Mantingan, Ngawi. Primary data in this research is santri Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor Putra or Putri who once manage the cottage business unit. Secondary data in this research are santri data and profile of Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor. Based on the data in this study was analyzed quantitatively through the multivariate method of Structural Equation Model (SEM) technique using combining Factor Analysis and Path Analysis. The result of data analysis stated that the short-term intention of santri to become entrepreneur is influenced by attitude variable, subjective norm, and perceived behavior control.

Abstract

The aim of this research are to investigate the effect of cash conversion cycle on firm profitability and to compare that effect to the effect of classic liquidity ratio on firm profitability. This research is also to investigate the effect of cash conversion cycle on firm firm profitability in different firm sizes and industries. The population of research object is companies listed on Indonesian Stock Exchange from 2006 to 2009. Sampling method used is purposive sampling. Samples consist of member of Manufacture industry represented by Plastic and Glass sub-industry and member of Service industry represented by Transportation Service sub-industry. The statistic tool used is multiple regression. The result shows that the cash conversion cycle has negative effect on firm profitability. Abstract

The aim of this study is to measure the efficiency of Islamic Bank in Indonesia and to analyze the factors that affect the level of efficiency. The objects of this study are 12 (twelve) Islamic Bank in Indonesia which analyze from 2011 until 2015. The are 2 (two) methods which are used in this study, namely non-parametric method  of Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) on the first stage and Tobit model on the second stage. Overall, the result, show that the efficiency level of Islamic Bank in Indonesia during the time period in this study, not all of the Bank, have reach the optimum level of efficiency. There are a few of Islamic Bank that have not yet reach the optimum level of efficiency. Beside of the analysis from Tobit model show that Bank Size has a positive relation with Pure Technical Efficiency (PTE) and Bank Size has a negative relation with Scale Efficiency (SE).

Abstract

The introduction of the concept of brand heritage in the Batik Industry in Kampung Batik Laweyan is intended to help local batik entrepreneurs in Kampung Batik Laweyan to maintain and preserve the uniqueness of their experiences and history, especially the Laweyan Batik tradition. Marketing training activities by introducing the concept of Brand Heritage are intended not only to raise awareness of the importance of strengthening brand identity through the concept of Brand Heritage but also to preserve Cultural Heritage.The Laweyan Batik Industry has existed even before Surakarta as the capital of the Mataram kingdom of Surakarta where most of the residents of the Laweyan area have been batik craftsmen since ancient times. Laweyan batik motifs are very diverse and are well known in the community. This community service activity involves batik entrepreneurs in the Laweyan batik village as well as employees who work at Batik Gress Tenan, Laweyan. Employees and employees who work at Batik Gress Tenan are given insight and understanding of the importance of the company and employees in maintaining the Brand Heritage of its products and maintaining the Cultural Heritage of Kampung Batik Laweyan so that it remains attractive and a strong identity to continue to exist and develop. Keywords: Brand Heritage, Cultural Heritage, Tradition, History.

Abstract

Small and Medium Enterprises (SME’s) play strategically significant role in the political and socio-economic structure of a country. The importance of SME’s roles has directed the focus of academic research on identifying factors that could determine the performance of SME’s. This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of the company's capital structure, as measured by financial leverage level on profitability, as measured by Return On Equity (ROE) of SME’s in Surakarta, which specifically belong to food and beverage business sector. The number of observations is 90, with primary data collected in Surakarta, on August 2020 period. Statistical analysis was conducted by using Ordinary Least Square (OLS) regression and robustness check.Statistical analysis results show that Leverage has a very strong negative relationship with ROE, where these results are consistent and in line with several previous studies. Nevertheless, this study faces several limitations, especially related to the low level of financial literacy of SME’s and also the unavailability of SME’s periodic financial reports. This research is expected to contribute to provide insights for the government to prioritize financial literacy enhancement program for SME’s business owners. Furthermore, future researchers is expected to expand the object of analysis, so that they could obtain wider and more extensive data. Keywords : SME’s, capital structure, leverage, profitability, Return on Equity

Abstract

This study examines the efficiency levels across banks in Indonesia, more specifically during the emerge of digital technology. This study used financial report data from 80 banks in 2015-2019. Data Envelopment Analysis with Malmquist Total Factor Productivity Index was employed to measure technical efficiency, pure technical efficiency as well as scale efficiency. The results suggest that large banks tend to be more efficient in term of technical efficiency relative to the small bank. However, small-scale banks tend to be more efficient in term of sale efficiency compare to the large-scale banks. The implication of this finding shows that business expansion is a source for increasing the efficiency score of small-scale banks. On the other hand, the advancement of technical and managerial terms is a source of increasing efficiency for large-scale banks. Keywords: Efficiency, Bank, Malmquist Total Factor Productivity Index

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the financing risk and profitability of government and private Islamic banks. This research, data processing is done by using Microsoft Excel 2010 program and testing of each hypothesis is done using the Eviews program. This study aims to find out and analyze the financing risks and profitability of sharia commercial banks. This study uses secondary data that has been processed by certain companies or institutions. The data source used by researchers is accessing financial data on the annual report of the Sharia Bank on the Google website from 2011 to 2017.Analysis of the data used is multiple regression using the panel data method that combines cross section data with time series. The results of the data tested were the higher sharing financing, so that non-performing financing had no significant effect. For the second test, the higher the sharing financing, the profitability of sharia commercial banks will increase, not significantly. The last test the higher the Murabahah financing, the non-performing financing has no significant effect. Therefore, the analysis of financing risk and profitability of Islamic commercial banks is further enhanced so that it can be a monitoring and evaluation for company managers or investors. Keywords : Financing risk, Profitability, non-performing financing, sharing financing, Murabahah.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze whether there are differences in attitudes towards green advertising between high-involvement consumers and low-involvement consumers and to compare consumer cognitive responses and consumer affective responses to advertising and to examine the importance of certain themes that have high involvement and consumer consideration. with low involvement. The themes presented include corporate image, environmental labels, and product recycling symbols.This study shows that there is a difference between high-involvement consumers and low-involvement consumers in terms of their attitudes towards green advertising across all measures of perception of green advertising. The findings provide practitioners with a useful vision of the types of themes consumers prefer for green advertising Keyword : Green Products, Green Advertising, Environtmental label, Consumer involvement.

Abstract

Nowadays, banks in Indonesia are starting to aggressively issue new products, namely bancassurance. Bancassurance is a banking product obtained from the collaboration between a bank and an insurance company. From this collaboration, banks are expected to gain profitability and can improve their efficiency. Therefore, this research is intended to find out whetherbancassurance is able to provide efficiency and profitability to banks in Indonesia. This study took samples of banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2013-2017 with the purposive sampling method obtained a sample of 9 banks. The results of the analysis show thatbancassurance does not have a positive and significant effect on efficiency and also does not have a significant effect on profitability, but shows a positive impact on profitability.  Keyword: bancassurance, efficiency, profitability

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between work life conflict and cellular technology usage. Employee on Solo Raya was chosen as subject on this study. Data were collected from 140 employees. Conditional Process Analysis by Hayes was used on Hypothesis test on this study. This approach integrates analysis of moderation and mediation. Study finds that there is a negative relationship between perceived interruption overload and work-related technology usage mediated by work life conflict; higher controls will weaken the negative relationship between perceived interruption overload and work related technology usage mediated by work life conflict; and higher burnout will strengthen the negative relationship between perceived interruption overload and work related technology usage mediated by work life conflict. Keywords: Interruption, Work-life Conflict, Burnout, Mobile TechnologiesABSTRAK Tujuan yang ingin didapatkan oleh peneliti pada penelitian ini adalah untuk meneliti pengaruh work life conflict dalam penggunaan teknologi seluler. Karyawan di Solo Raya di pilih menjadi subyek dalam penelitian kali ini. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 140 Karyawan. Pengujian hipotesis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Conditional Process Analysis oleh Hayes. Pendekatan ini mengintegrasikan analisis moderasi dan mediasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan negatif perceived interruption overload terhadap work-related technology usage melalui work life conflict; kontrol yang lebih tinggi dapat memperlemah dampak negatif perceived interruption overload terhadap work-related technology usage melalui work life conflict; dan burnout yang tinggi memperkuat dampak negatif perceived interruption overload terhadap work-related technology usage melalui work life conflict. Kata Kunci: Interupsi, WLC, Burnout, Teknologi Seluler
