Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of perceived of religious value, financial security, profitability, and attractiveness on customer preference in Islamic Bank branch Surakarta.Sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The criterion of participants was respondents who prefer Islamic bank compared to other banks. There were 115 respondents in this resesearch. Methods of data analysis using Generalized Structured Component Analysis (GSCA).The analysis showed that the FIT and AFIT values above 50%, 50 they were 59,1% and 58,3%. While the GFI values above 0.9 which was 0.996. Overall, the research model was fit. Furthermore, analysis of the relationship between variables indicates that there were three hypotheses were supported and one hypothesis was not supported. The hypothesis was supported by the influence of perceive of religious value, profitability, and attractiveness to customers preference. The hypothesis was not supported the effect of financial security to the customer preference.

Abstract

This research attempts to analyze the factors that affect the financing of Islamic banking in Indonesia. The independent variable in this study is the Third Party Funds (TPF), Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Return on Assets (ROA), Non Performing Financing (NPF). The sample used in this study were all population numbering Islamic Banks Islamic Banks 11. The data used in this study were obtained from published financial statements by Islamic Banks with the observation period 2013 to 2016. Based on the research result that the F test is declare that all the independent variables (independent) consisting of Third Party Funds (TPF), Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Return on Assets (ROA) and Non-Performing Financing (NPF) have a significant effect on the Financing of Islamic Banks. At t test, Third Party Funds (TPF) influence and significant to financing, the Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) and Return on Assets (ROA) have no significant effect on financing, while NPF has negative influence and insignificant effect on financing.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of training on performance with the role of mediating organizational commitment  on RS Ortopedi Prof. Dr. R. Soeharso Surakarta employee . Analysis of data in this study using path analysis (path analysis). The population in this study were all employees of RS Ortopedi Prof. Dr. R. Soeharso Surakarta, which is in service in the amount of 453 people. The total sample of this study was 212 employees of RS Ortopedi Prof. Dr. R. Soeharso Surakarta, which is considered sufficient to represent the population studied. The sampling technique is done through random sampling. The results of the study indicate that the effect of training consists of motivation for training, access to training, benefits from training and support for training had an effect on organizational commitment and organizational commitment had a significant effect on employee performance. The results of this study also indicate that training consisting of motivation for training, benefits from training and support for training with mediators organizational commitment has a significant effect on employee performance, while access to training with mediators organizational commitment does not affect employee performance. Keywords: training, commitment, performance

Abstract

Purpose of this study to analyze the effects of leadership style, organizational culture on motivation and performance of senior high school techers in Wonogiri.  Job performance is very necessary for any profession. Job performance of teacher increasingly organizational performance so that purpose of company or organization can be reachable. Many factors which can increase job/activity such as leadership style, organizational culture, and motivation.How far leadership style and organizational culture influence to job performance is tested in this research, by insert motivation as intervening variables.Test utilized to analyze leadership style and organizational culture influence to job performance that is path analysis,R2test, as well as statistic T test, and direct and inderct effect. Research data obtained from questionary answer propagated to the teacher of senior high school in Wonogiri. Result of research analysis express that leadership style and organizational culture has positive influence and significant to teachers job performance. And Motivation proof to be intervening variabel in relationship beetwen leadership style and organizational culture to teachers job performance.

Abstract

The purpose of the research was to help CV. Angkasa manager in measuring business growth level and increasing capability and also commitment personal, They were expected could increase employee productivity and make production time more efficient so that able to increase service quality to customer.The research is case study was applied on CV. Angkasa, Using descriptive methodology. Variables in this research using forth perspective in Balanced Scorecard are financial perspective, customer perspective, internal business process perspective, learning and growth perspective .The results showed (1) financial on CV. Angkasa was good, (2) most of customer’s were satisfied on its product’s even though there were complaint of delay product’s distribution (3) inefficiency production time was reason of delay product’s distribution occurred (4) lower employee ethos was caused by lower company attention which had on impact to relationship between employee and manager that will affect employee productivity.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine and analyze the effect of extrinsic motivation, intrinsic motivation, subjective norms, trust, and attitudes toward intention for sharing knowledge. Type of the research in this study is a quantitative reserch, by taking samples 200 respondents at SMP Muhammadiyah and MTs Muhammadiyah at Sukoharjo. The technique of collecting data uses questionnaires, and tested uses structural equation model/Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). The results of this study show that extrinsic motivation and intrinsic motivation has no effect on the intention to share knowledge, extrinsic motivation and intrinsic motivation effect on attitudes and trust, trust and subjective norms effect on attitudes and attitudes, and subjective norms effect on the intention for sharing knowledge. Key words : extrinsic motivation, intrinsic motivation, subjective norms, beliefs, and attitudes toward the intention for sharing knowledge

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between five job characteristic model dimension and job stress on insurance agents. The sample used in this research is agents of AsuransiJiwaBersamaBumiputera in Solo Raya with the number of respondents as many as 97 agents.The data retrieved by using purposive sampling. Tests in this study using the test instrument in the form of validity test with Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) method and reliability test by Cronbach’s Alpha method. Hipotesis test using Multiple Regreesion Analysis method.The result of this research suggest that all of five dimension job characteristic model does not entirely have negative relationship and is not significant to job stress. Skill variety has positive relation with job stress, task identity and task significance have negative relation with job stress, autonomy and feedback have not significant relationship with job stress. This study has limitations that most of the questionnaires distributed are not given directly to the research subjects, but deposited in each division head or section head so as to increase the likelihood of bias. Keywords : skill variety, task identity, task significance, autonomy, feedback, job stress.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to investigate the relationship between perceived sosial identity as an older worker, job characteristic, social support and burnout and attitude towards retirement and work. A total of 400 questionnaires were collected from workers over the aged of 50, and they were working in Ministry of Communication and Information, Jakarta. Purposive sampling were used in this research. Stuctural Equation Model (SEM) analyses were performed to test the influence of social identity as an older worker, job characteristic, social support and burnout to attitude towards retirement and work. Age, gender, marital status and education were used as demographics variables. The result show that identification with older worker was positively related to intergenerational competition, and negatifly related to career development, bridge employment, devaluation work dan intention to early retirement. Intergroup permeability was positively related to intention to early retirement. Job characteristic was positively related to career development, intergenerational competition, bridge employment, devaluation work, burnout and intention to early retirement. Social support was negatifly related to burnout, and burnout was positively related to intention to early retirement. Intergroup permeability was not related to career development, intergenerational competition, bridge employment and devaluation work because older worker in this research felt intergroup unpermeability. It means older workers in this study feel the ageism and burnout at their workplace.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of High Performance  Human Resource Management Practices, which consist of Empowerment, Job Rotation, Employee Participation, and Self Management Practices, which consist of Planning and Goal Setting, Access Management, Catch up Activities and Emotion Management in Employee Job Satisfaction. This research was conducted at Sahid Raya Hotel Yogyakarta.The respondent were permanent employees whom consist of 110 employee. Multiple linier regression analysis, which carried out with the help of the statistics program SPSS Windows Release 13.00, was used to analyze the data, the analysis result showed that job rotation, employee participation, planning and goal setting, access management, and emotion management positively and significantly influenced on employee job satisfaction. While empowerment and catch up Activities had no significant effect on employee job satisfaction. However, there was indirectly or small effect.Those emperical findings indicated that employee job satisfaction is important for the company, so Sahid Raya Hotel Yogyakarta needs to pay attention to the factors that can increase employee job satisfaction. Theoretical implications and suggestions for future research are also outlined at the end of the research

Abstract

The aims of research is to understand/discover the effect of the qualification of surgery operator for moderating pre-operative hemoglobin level at the patient and the type of operation performance (elective or emergency) with the number of cross-match test request for surgery preparation. The research utilizes the quantitative empirical method using a secondary data derived from the orthopedic hospital blood-bank Prof. DR. R. Soeharso Surakarta i.e. the number of data cross-match test request from June 2015 to May 2016 with 360 samples. The Data analysis method is Moderated Regression Analysis.The results of research exhibits significant direct influence pre-operative hemoglobin level and the type of operation to the number of cross-match test request. The qualification of surgery operator has not proven significantly as a moderation variable. The qualification of surgery operator influences simultaneously on the patient preoperative hemoglobin correlation level and type of operation to the number of cross-match test request, although no proven effect on an individual basis.
