Abstract

Public universities may  have no difficulties to market their product, because they have had a strong settled brand. The brand which has been stuck on  the mind of public or prospect. These public universities have been trusted for along time ago, especially if we talk about the product quality. Public has an opinion that public university is the best institution  you must choose , because you’ll get your superior dignity from there.Asking anyone about university, whoever will choose the public universtity first, of course. And after that, if they don’t succeed for the selection, they just decide to consider another one (private universitiy). As we know, because of it’s brand, the public university can price its products on whatever level.On the other hand, the prospect doesn’t need any deep consideration for the price. They will pay it, no matter about the price. Even if it is  so expensive, as long as they can be received as its student. Because “the brand” will give them “the brand” too, in the future.Private university has to face something that rather special, relevant to this difficult condition.  It is worried that public university will get more students than they can reach. It is worried that public university will open more and more classes. They all have to compete, then. This competition  makes them think harder. They’re now,  fighting to find the answer of  “how to win the competition”.As we know, that, winning a competition depends on the ability to create  a competitive advantage. So, they compete to build a competitive advantage, to try to be a different institution compared to others. They make a new department which is called marketing department. This department is expected to handle any marketing problems. The goal is one. It is “winning the competition”.   The question is “ is it enough to build a competitive advantage?” And the answer is “No, it is not. It’s not enough just building a competitive advantage”. We need something called “Sustainable Competitive Advantage (SCA)”. How to build an SCA? This following article will explain deeply.

Abstract

One of the goals of economic development is economic growth. Potential local economy, innovation and investment climate can affect local economic growth. East Java Province has 38 districts / cities have a chance at better economic growth. Economic development, economic growth plus the change (change), changes in per capita income residents, public health, and public education. Otda Act can be used as a basis for stimulating local economic development in East Java. The results KPPOD, USAID & AF (2007) the investment climate must be created and the desired investor / entrepreneur; the simplification and licensing system, reduction of charges that overlap, transparency of licensing fees, legal certainty and security and availability of infrastructure. The investor and the government of East Java can work together in economic development towards the welfare of society. Abstract

Portfolio investment is an investment in securities with the hope of obtaining some level of profits from investments made in the capital market. Shares will be chosen is a collection of optimal or efficient portfolio, ie, high risk high return. Analyzing the profitability of the investment required analytical methods portfolio (CAPM and MEP) to calculate the value of a good value investment return and value of the investment risk will be obtained and give a share to be used as an investment election. Investors can choose the level of portfolio return on the two stock indices, namely Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) that could be used as benchmark (benchmark) to measure the performance of an investment in the shares with the criteria of sharia, and LQ45 which have high liquidity. Capital Asset Pricing Model (CAPM) and Markowitz Efficient Portfolio (MEP) is a model developed to describe a state of balance between risk and return relationship each asset in portfolio investment when capital markets are in a state of balance, which is illustrated by a graph or curve method Security Market Line (SML), and the Efficient Frontier by using the Beta () and standard deviation () as a measure of risk in both models. By using two models of this analysis, the investor can estimate the expected return on securities in the JII and LQ45, stock portfolios can be identified by both, has a value of more investment, as a concept could also be a good investment election by the shariah and the investor can eliminate doubts in investing , because when buying and selling activity of these shares misused and become a tool for the pursuit of speculative profits at the expense of others, it is haraam because it turned into a gambling stock (maysir) and contain gharar. This can be used as consideration in the analysis of images of the two models in this research, both in the analytical model Capital Asset Pricing Model (CAPM) and Markowitz Efficient Portfolio (MEP). Keyword: CAPM, MEP, SML, Efficient Frontier, Analisis Gharar, Return, Risk

Abstract

Family business has its own characteristics. There are three other factors that influence the successful of family firms, namely: ownership, business, and family. Because of the three factors that influence each other here, which surfaced in the value of family firms is harmony. Yet family firms still have to achieve the goal of profit and growth. That's why leadership is necessary. In family firms, especially those that are still dominated by the role of founders and their families need leadership that can be flexible to adjust the leadership style of the owner or owners of a family with subordinates or employees. Abstract

Various policies taken by the government to help poor people reduced to poverty burden. The policy of them are in the areas of health, which aims to facilitate / ease the poor to health. Since 1998 the government, in this case the Ministry of Health has launched a service improvement program for poor families, a program of JPS-BK (Social Security Network Health Sector) are sourced from the Asian Development Bank loan for basic services for poor families. This program lasted until 2002. The Government does not just stop in an effort to lighten the burden of the poor in the health sector, various policies have been taken, Beginning in 2008 Managed Care program, usually called HIP changed its name to Community Health Insurance (JAMKESMAS) with no change in the number of targets. This program aims to provide access to the public health service is very poor, poor and near poor who numbered 76.4 million inhabitants. Thus, the degree of public health is very poor, poor and near poor can be increased and indirectly can improve the quality and productivity of human resources in Indonesia. Health services for the poor provided by government hospitals in East Java province needs to consider the quality of services provided through the following aspects: cost of hospital services, hospital environmental safety, justice get service, clarity about roles and functions of officers who served, availability & understanding treatment and clarity of information on how to deliver information about the patient's illness. Keywords : JPKM,  Askeskin,  Jamkesmas,  Gakin, kualitas pelayanan.

Abstract

Understanding the concept of gender as the division of roles of men and women who are socially and culturally constructed, needs to be done in order to realize equality and gender justice. The understanding, necessary to place women as subjects of development, in order to improve the position and role of women in national and state life. This research is done on the women sellers crackers, data collection was done by a written interview. Data were analyzed using the Harvard Gender Analysis Method, to determine the four basic elements: (1) Profile of activity based on gender division of labor, (2) Access Profile, (3) Profile control; (4) Factors related to the things that lead to the distribution of work, the profiles, access and community control. Results obtained in the activity profiles based on gender division of labor, which includes a list of tasks men and women, mothers appear dominant task. Profile access and control over resources within the family, women in a weak position. While in reality, women have the "role and employment" which determines the continuity of family life. For that education and training activities can be provided as one way in order to empower women to be more efficient and effective manner. Kata Kunci : Kontrol, Kepemilikan, Sumber Daya, dan Usaha Keluarga.

The objective of this paper is to explain that monetary condition is very closely related with the interest rate, value of foreign exchange and the performance of investment at Capital Market, especially the economic systems of developing countries like Indonesia, the role of Government Bank is very important to keep maintain the value of foreign exchange. Investor always wait and see before making decision to buy, sell or hold the stocks & all of the action depent on monetary situation, because they expect high return. Abstract

In general, the management has the desire to survive and even more progress in carrying out its duties as a key element in an institution, so that required an effort and an intelligent and creative innovation by management for institutions that managed to survive and could be much better. The first thing to do is to further strengthen the performance of the institution itself, and one of them is through the development of financial accounting information system. Development of financial accounting information system will support the operational activities within the company both in its capacity as a service provider for students and for internal purposes or university institution itself. Financial accounting information system is good, will have an impact on over all lines in an optimal institution. Making it easier for management decision-making processes associated with development institutions and those objectives can be achieved.The purpose of this study was to find out how the Financial Accounting Information Systems Design to suit the needs of Muhammadiyah University of Surabaya-Based Networks With Access Allocation List For Improving Financial Services Muhammadiyah Universityof Surabaya.Problems faced by the University of Surabaya is about the design of financial accounting information system is applied, so the impact on less than optimal performance of applications used to perform data processing.As for alternative solutions to problems that can be done Muhammadiyah University of Surabaya is redesigning the system by way of application of financial accounting information system-based network with Access Allocation List in accordance with the proposal given by the researchers.Based on this research note that the data input process occurs repeatedly in several applications and journalizing process was done manually, causing the data processing becomes long. This causes the required information management can not be served immediately and the truth of the financial statements can not be guaranteed for accuracy. To so management can integrate all application systems that are used so that the information produced better quality, effective and efficient. Kata Kunci: Sistem Informasi Akuntansi Keuangan, Jaringan, Allocation Access List.

Abstract

One of the most important social challenge for business is a balance between economic interests and maintain order terwjudkan ecologically sustainable development. Morals and ethics have a function to give the orientation of how and where we are heading in life, but the difference is that morality is a direct show of ways to go, while directing the choice of ethics precisely why you should move in suchaway? Business ethics is the application of ethical thinking in general, in business behavior. Business ethics is not a specific part of ethics which is different from ethics in general and are applicable only to business. If dishonesty is considered unethical and immoral, then anyone in business who are not honest with shareholders, employees, consumers or competitors, have acted in an unethical and immoral. According to the conventional ideology of economic development and preservation is a dichotomy that separated from one another. When in fact, both have a very close relationship and jointly become a national agenda that must be considered by the government and society in a country. This means that without an adequate environmental protection, development will be lost meaning (undermined). Thus the nature of the sustainable development, are the balance between economic interests with ecological sustainability (ecology are: Science of learning about how living creatures interact with one another within an ecosystem). Economic learning goals lead students to have the ability to solve the various problems it faces. Therefore, through the educational values in business ethics expected of students have the knowledge and the provision to be applied in everyday life which would not intentionally or engage in business activities. Kata kunci : Pendidikan Etika Bisnis, Kesadaran ramah lingkungan
