Abstract

ABSTRACT  Sreseh community utilize empty land to build new business that is shrimp farming, shrimp species selected to be cultivated namely vannamei shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei). The purpose of this research is to know the system of capital management, marketing strategy and distribution channel of vannamei shrimp farm in Noreh Village, Sreseh Sub-District, Sampang Regency. The method used in this research is descriptive method with qualitative approach. The conclusion of this research is that majority of farmers make capital loans to the collecting traders, either in the form of cash, production input or in the form of fries because the lending procedure is not convoluted.The results of this study states that the marketing channel I is selling to retailers because the partial shrimp vannamei shrimp had failed so it must be harvested and total revenue obtained by Rp.28.000.000 with a loss of Rp.8.500.000, marketing channel II uses its own capital and distributes directly to wholesalers or dealers with vannamei shrimp harvest earnings of Rp.71.500.000, while the marketing channel III uses loan capital to the collecting traders or middlemen and the vannamei shrimp harvest revenue is Rp.70.300.000 with net profit of Rp. 50.3 million after deducting capital lending.Farmers should work together to form a grup or a company engaged in vannamei shirmp farming sector in the form of provision of seeds, vitamin shirmp, feed and capital loans so that farmers are not tied to middlemen or merchant collectors and the result can be shared to farmers.Keywords : Marketing strategy, product, price, place, promotionCorrespondence to : hidayatullohebhenk@yahoo.com ABSTRAK  Masyarakat Sreseh memanfaatkan lahan kosong untuk membangun usaha baru yaitu budidaya tambak udang, spesies udang yang dipilih untuk dibudidayakan yaitu udang vannamei (Litopenaeus vannamei). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sistem pengelolaan modal, strategi pemasaran dan saluran distribusi hasil tambak udang vannamei di Desa Noreh. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah mayoritas petambak melakukan pinjaman modal kepada pedagang pengepul, baik berupa uang tunai, input produksi ataupun dalam bentuk benur karena prosedur peminjamannya tidak berbelit-belit.Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa saluran pemasaran I yaitu menjual ke pedagang pengecer karena saat parsial udang vannamei mengalami kegagalan sehingga harus dipanen total dan pendapatan yang diperoleh sebesar Rp.28.000.000 dengan kerugian sebesar Rp.8.500.000, saluran pemasaran II menggunakan modal sendiri dan mendistribusikan langsung pada pedagang besar atau bandar dengan laba panen udang vannamei yang diperoleh sebesar Rp.71.500.000, sedangkan saluran pemasaran III menggunakan modal pinjaman kepada pedagang pengepul atau tengkulak dan pendapatan panen udang vannamei yang diperoleh sebesar Rp.70.300.000 dengan laba bersih sebesar Rp. 50.300.000 setelah dikurangi peminjaman modal.Sebaiknya petambak bekerja sama membentuk sebuah grup atau perusahaan yang bergerak di sektor usaha tambak udang vannamei berupa penyediaan benur, vitamin udang, pakan dan pinjaman modal sehingga petambak tidak terikat pada tengkulak atau pedagang pengepul dan hasil bisa dibagi kepada petambak.Kata Kunci : Strategi Pemasaran, Produk, Harga, Tempat, PromosiKorespondensi  : hidayatullohebhenk@yahoo.com

Abstract

Abstract              ”Help each other in doing good and pious, and do not help one another in sin and transgression” (Letter (5) Al - Maidah 2). The best manis for the benefit of other humans. The phrase provides learning for all human beings as social beings who  have been equipped with the properties of solidarity by God the Creator of the social skills are encouraged to reflect on it in the form of deeds/actions that could provide benefits for himself or others. Deeds and actions that could provide benefits for himself and others that must be oriented to the future as a deed  which contains the value of worship, so it needs to start with the intention of seeking ridholillah and done with full sincerity in order to be grateful for every blessing that has been given to us as humans, such as health, ability to work hard, be creative and innovation, and others. For individuals who do the deeds / actions coupled with the  intention of seeking ridholillah and being grateful, of  course, will appear personal traits that promote honesty, discipline, responsibility, and are oriented towards the interests of the market or customers. Therefore we so successful entrepreneurship, the necessary, discipline, responsibility, and are Oriented towards the interests of the market or customers. Abstract

The Theory of Planning Behavior Research (TPB) has a significant role in the performance of students with Jigsaw Cooperative Learning as a moderating variable. In this study, Cooperative Learning Type Jigsaw was chosen as moderating the relationship between Planned Behavior Theory (TPB) and student acquisition. The population used was 313 third semester students of management and accounting study program of FEB UM Surabaya. The sampling technique used is the Issac and Michael Tables to determine the sample size of 147 respondents. The analysis technique used is a Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) analysis tool. The results of this research show (1) The Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) does not significantly influence student performance, (2) Jigsaw Cooperative Learning does not moderate the effect of the Planned Behavior Theory (TPB) on student performance. Kata kunci      :Theory Planned Behavior,  Cooperative Learning Tipe Jigsaw, kinerja mahasiswa

Abstract

Every company wants to achieve the purpose of achieving profit / maximum profit. Maximum advantage can be obtained if a company successfully organizing factors of production efficiently. Efficient question is if the company succeeded in creating certain goods financed with only minimal sacrifice. Or particular business / certain sacrifices can yield the optimal output.  The purpose of this paper is to provide an overview of employers or the reader about how to manage the factor-factor production efficiency in order to obtain the cost of a cheap product. An entrepreneur who can organize the factors of production efficiently, then he will succeed in achieving economies of scale that is creating the maximum product of a certain sacrifice. If the maximum product items can be created from the cost / certain sacrifice, then of course the price of goods per unit of product it will be low. If the cost of the product is low, then the entrepreneur will win the competition in the market, because every consumer will always try to get the desired price is cheap. If he can manage the factors of production efficiently and cost of production goods will become cheaper, and certainly will be preferred by consumers, and leads to increased sales volume. This means that maximum benefit can be achieved according to the desired destination from the beginning.Key words: efficiency, factors of production, the cost of production

Abstract

 This study aims to determine the positive and significant effect of Theory of Planned Behavior on Student Performance directly and the effect of Theory of Planned Behavior on Student Performance through Mind Mapping Mediation. This study uses a descriptive quantitative approach, with a population of two hundred and thirty-six students from Bureau data. Academic, University of Muhammadiyah Surabaya, Faculty of Economics and Business who have passed the introductory business course with Mind Mapping mediation and the samples taken are one hundred forty-two students. Abstract

ABSTRACT  The factor that must be done by educational institutions is to maintain motivation. Motivation is the main energy of the employees. Motivation greatly affects employee morale. The spirit to make  good relationships with stakeholders, the spirit in running job description or personal spirit of the employees themselves in improving the life of their family. Of course all that is done with a sense of comfort, safe and happy, until it will ultimately affect the increase in performance and increase productivity, both quality and quantity. Through the vision of morality, intellectuality and entrepreneurship as a goal to equip its graduates to be useful to themselves and society, UMSurabaya has the duty to maintain motivation to its employees.This study aims to: 1). to know the effect simultaneously between the variables of achievement need, the need for power, the need to affiliate with the performance of educational staff of UMSurabaya. 2). to know which is more dominant influence between requirement of achievement, requirement of power and or requirement of affiliate to performance of educational staff UM Surabaya?This research is a quantitative research by using questionnaire as its instrument. The population used was 115 respondents using Slovin method defined as many as 72 respondents. The result of the research shows: 1) F test result is F-count (18,833)> F-table (2,737) which means that motivation (achievement need, power and the need to affiliate simultaneously have a significant positive effect on UMSurabaya education staff performance. 2). T test results obtained; variable needs achievement t-count value (4.552)> t-table (1667), this means the variable of achievement need has the most dominant influence on the performance of educational staff of UMSurabaya. While the variables of power needs and affiliation need t-count value respectively (1.363) and (1.273) <t-table (1667), the need for power and affiliation have no significant positive effect on the performance of educational staff of UMSurabaya. Referring to the results of this study, UMSurabaya should continue to improve the motivation of educational staff through education and training, creativity development and directing all potential  and skills, the pattern of activities that aims to create relationships, know each other and synergize each other in the completion of tasks and generate, direct and maintain behavior associated with the work environment, so the performance of educational staff of UMSurabaya become more productive and efficient.Keywords : Motivation, PerformanceCorrespondence to : sitisalbiyah51@gmail.com, budi.w.mahardhika@gmail.com ABSTRAK  Faktor yang harus dilakukan oleh lembaga pendidikan adalah memelihara motivasi. Melalui visi  morallity, intelektuality dan enterpreneurship sebagai tujuan untuk membekali para lulusannya agar bermanfaat bagi dirinya dan masyarakat, UMSurabaya  memiliki kewajiaban memelihara motivasi pada pegawainya.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1).  mengetahui pengaruh secara simultan antara variabel kebutuhan berprestasi, kebutuhan berkuasa,  kebutuhan beralifiasi dengan kinerja TKP UMSurabaya . 2). mengetahui manakah yang lebih dominan pengaruhnya antara kebutuhan prestasi, kebutuhan berkuasa dan atau kebutuhan afiliasi terhadap kinerja TKP UM Surabaya ?Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan kuesioner sebagai instrumennya. Populasi yang digunakan adalah 115 responden  dengan menggunakan  metode Slovin ditetapkan sampel  sebanyak 72 responden.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan : 1) Hasil Uji F diperoleh nilai F-hitung (18.833) > F-tabel (2.737)   yang berarti bahwa motivasi  (kebutuhan berprestasi, kebutuhan berkuasa dan kebutuhan beralifiasi secara simultan mempunyai pengaruh positif yang signifikan terhadap kinerja tenaga kependidikan  UMSurabaya. 2).  Hasil uji t diperoleh ; variabel kebutuhan berprestasi  nilai t-hitung (4,552) > t-tabel (1.667),  ini berarti variabel  kebutuhan berprestasi memiliki pengaruh paling dominan terhadap kinerja TKP UMSurabaya.  Sedangkan variabel  kebutuhan berkuasa dan kebutuhan berafiliasi   nilai t-hitung berturut-turut (1.363) dan (1.273) < t-tabel (1.667), kebutuhan berkuasa dan kebutuhan berafiliasi   memiliki pengaruh positif tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja tenaga kependidikan  UMSurabaya.Merujuk pada hasil penelitian ini, UMSurabaya perlu terus melakukan peningkatan motivasi TKP melalui pendidikan dan pelatihan, pengembangan kreativitas dan mengarahkan semua potensi kemampuan dan ketrampilan, pola kegiatan yang bertujuan menciptakan hubungan persahatan, saling mengenal dan saling sinergi dalam penyelesaian tugas dan membangkitkan, mengarahkan dan memelihara perilaku yang berhubungan dengan lingkungan kerja agar kinerja yang dihasilkan TKP UMSurabaya menjadi lebih produktif dan efisien.Kata kunci : Motivasi, KinerjaKorespondensi : sitisalbiyah51@gmail.com, budi.w.mahardhika@gmail.com

Abstract

Understanding the concept of gender as the division of roles of men and women who are socially and culturally constructed, needs to be done in order to realize equality and gender justice. The understanding, necessary to place women as subjects of development, in order to improve the position and role of women in national and state life. This research is done on the women sellers crackers, data collection was done by a written interview. Data were analyzed using the Harvard Gender Analysis Method, to determine the four basic elements: (1) Profile of activity based on gender division of labor, (2) Access Profile, (3) Profile control; (4) Factors related to the things that lead to the distribution of work, the profiles, access and community control. Results obtained in the activity profiles based on gender division of labor, which includes a list of tasks men and women, mothers appear dominant task. Profile access and control over resources within the family, women in a weak position. While in reality, women have the "role and employment" which determines the continuity of family life. For that education and training activities can be provided as one way in order to empower women to be more efficient and effective manner. Kata Kunci : Kontrol, Kepemilikan, Sumber Daya, dan Usaha Keluarga.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe success of an institution of higher education is inseparable from the marketing strategy undertaken. Promotion is one of the most important marketing strategies to introduce an educational product or service, in this case are various courses to prospective students. Promotion is done to generate interest in choosing the study program that becomes the choice of pride, so it will affect the increasing number of students each course offered. UMSurabaya through promotional mix (promotional mix) offers as many as 29 courses from 8 faculties owned, one of them is Management program as an alternative choice for prospective students.This study aims to: (1) Know the promotion mix UMSurabaya. (2) To know the interest of choosing Management FEB UMSurabaya. (3) Knowing the promotion mix simultaneously affect the interest of choosing Management FEB UMSurabaya (4). Knowing the promotion mix partially affect the interest of choosing Management FEB UMSurabaya.This research uses quantitative descriptive method with questionnaire as its instrument. Population amounted to 328 students using Slovin method specified sample of 77 respondents. Data analyze using SPSS 20 software to test the validity and reliability of the instrument, and test the hypothesis.The results showed: (1) F test results obtained F-count (9,184)> F-table (2.47) which means that the promotion mix (advertising, direct selling, sales promotion, and community relations) simultaneously have a significant positive effect to the student's interest in choosing Management FEB UMSurabaya. Determinant coefficient analysis (R ²) obtained by value 33,8 indicates that student interest choose Management FEB UMSurabaya influenced by independent variable (advertising, direct selling, sales promotion and public relation) to dependent variable of interest to choose Management program 33,8%, while the remaining 66.2% is influenced by other variable factors not mentioned in this study. 2).  The result of t test for advertising variable is t value (2,865)> t-table (1,984), this means that advertising variable has a significant positive effect on the interest of choosing Management FEB UMSurabaya. While the direct selling variables, sales promotion and public relations value t-count in a row (1,085), (1,521), (0,465) <t-table (1,984), can be interpreted that the direct sales variables, sales promotion and public relations positively not significant to the interest in choosing FEB UMSurabaya Management Program. Thus, advertising has the most dominant influence on the interest of choosing Management FEB UMSurabaya.The authors conclude (1) Characteristics of UMSurabaya Management Study Program students are known to be 58% female and the rest are male students with average age between 20 - 25 years with parent / guardian's income level between Rp.1.000.000, -  Rp. 4,000,000, - per month and most students come from Surabaya (2). UMSurabaya promotional mix has been effectively implemented in accordance with the information required by the students. Advertising is the most dominant promotional mix affecting the interest of choosing Management FEB UMSurabaya. Promosi merupakan salah satu strategi pemasaran yang sangat penting untuk mempekenalkan suatu produk atau jasa pendidikan dalam hal ini adalah berbagai program studi  kepada calon mahasiswa. Promosi  dilakukan untuk menimbulkan minat memilih program studi yang menjadi pilihan kebanggaannya, sehingga  akan berpengaruh kepada meningkatnya jumlah mahasiswa setiap program studi yang ditawarkan.  UMSurabaya  melalui bauran promosi (promotional mix) menawarkan sebanyak 29 program studi dari 8 fakultas  yang dimiliki, salah satunya prodi Manajemen sebagai alternatif  pilihan bagi calon mahasiswanya.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Mengetahui bauran promosi UMSurabaya. (2) Mengetahui minat memilih prodi Manajemen FEB UMSurabaya. (3) Mengetahui bauran promosi secara simultan berpengaruh terhadap minat memilih prodi Manajemen FEB UMSurabaya (4). Mengetahui bauran promosi secara parsial  berpengaruh terhadap minat memilih prodi Manajemen FEB UMSurabaya.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dan kuantitatif dengan kuesioner sebagai instrumennya. Populasi berjumlah 328 mahasiswa dengan menggunakan  metode Slovin ditetapkan sampel  sebanyak 77 responden.  Analisis data menggunakan software SPSS 20  untuk menguji validitas dan reliabilitas instrumen, serta  menguji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan : (1) Hasil Uji F diperoleh nilai F-hitung ( 9,184) > F-tabel (2,47) yang berarti bahwa bauran promosi(periklanan, penjualan langsung, promosi penjualan, dan hubungan masyarakat)  secara simultan berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap minat mahasiswa memilih prodi Manajemen FEB UMSurabaya. Analisis koefisien determinan (R²) diperoleh nilai 33,8 menunjukkan bahwa minat mahasiswa memilih prodi Manajemen FEB UMSurabaya dipengaruhi oleh variabel bebas  ( periklanan,  penjualan langsung, promosi penjualan dan hubungan masyarakat ) terhadap variabel dependen  minat memilih prodi Manajemen  sebesar 33,8%,  sedangkan sisanya  66,2% dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor variabel lain yang tidak disebutkan dalam penelitian ini.2).  Hasil uji t   untuk  variabel   periklanan diperoleh  nilai t-hitung (2.865) > t-tabel (1,984),  ini berarti variabel  periklanan memiliki pengaruh positif signifikan terhadap minat memilih prodi Manajemen FEBUMSurabaya.  Sedangkan variabel  penjualan langsung, promosi penjualan dan hubungan masyarakat nilai t-hitung berturut-turut (1,085), (1,521), (0,465) < t-tabel (1,984), dapat diartikan bahwa variabel  penjualan langsung, promosi penjualan dan hubungan masyarakat berpengaruh positif tidak signifikan terhadap minat memilih prodi Manajemen FEB UMSurabaya.  Dengan demikian  periklanan berpengaruh paling dominan  terhadap minat memilih prodi Manajemen FEB UMSurabaya.  Penulis menyimpulkan (1) Karakteristik mahasiswa prodi Manajemen  UMSurabaya diketahui 58% berjenis kelamin perempuan dan sisanya adalah mahasiswa berjenis kelamin laki-laki yang di dominasi oleh usia antara 20 - 25 tahun dengan tingkat pendapatan orang tua/wali  antara Rp.1.000.000,- - Rp. 4.000.000,- per bulan  dan 73% mahasiswa berasal dari kota Surabaya (2). Bauran promosi UMSurabaya telah dilaksakanan secara efektif sesuai dengan informasi yang dibutuhkan para mahasiswa. Advertising merupakan bauran promosi yang paling dominan berpengaruh terhadap minat memilih prodi Manajemen FEB UMSurabaya. Abstract

Abstrak              Jiwa wirausaha adalah sikap mental atau sifat-sifat keberanian, keutamaan, keuletan dan ketabahan dalam memenuhi kebutuhan serta memecahkan permasalahan hidup dengan kekuatan yang ada pada diri sendiri. Manusia wirausaha umumnya kreatif dan inovatif dalam memperjuangkan kesejahteraan hidupnya. Tujuan penulisan  ini adalah memberikan bekal pengetahuan dan ketrampilan kepada mahasiswa melalui praktek perkoperasian pada koperasi mahasiswa (KOPMA) agar memiliki jiwa wirausaha. Manusia wirausaha membutuhkan kepribadian yang kuat untuk memajukan hidupnya. Kebutuhan itu diusahakan dipenuhi oleh adanya pendidikan yang diselenggarakan pada Laboraotrium yang disebut Koperasi Mahasiswa.  Pendidikan mempunyai tugas mempersiapkan individu-individu yang secara bertanggung jawab dapat memperoleh kesejahteraan hidup melalui segenap aspek kepribadian, meliputi moral, karakter, intelektual dan ketrampilan, sehingga akhirnya individu-individu mampu berdiri sendiri di dalam mengatasi permasalahan hidup. Melalui praktek perkoperasian yang diselenggarakan pada laboratorium KOPMA mahasiswa  baik teoritis maupun praktek diberikan bekal antara lain : bagaimana berorganisasi, mengenal dan memikul tanggung jawab baik terhadap dirinya sendiri maupun terhadap orang lain, ketrampilan manajerial dalam mengelola harta koperasi serta ketata-laksanaannya .  Melalui Koperasi Mahasiswa pendidikan perkoperasian mahasiswa juga mendapat pengalaman teoritis maupun praktis yang dapat mengembangkan jiwa-jiwa  wirausahaannya yang  berguna untuk mengatasi permasalahan hidup di masa mendatang. Ini berarti bahwa melalui praktek perkoperasian yang diselenggarakan pada Laboratorium KOPMA, setiap mahasiswa dilatih untuk mengembangkan jiwa kewirausahaanya.    Kata Kunci : Kewirausahaan, Koperasi Mahasiswa (KOPMA) AbstractThe entrepreneurial spirit is a mental attitude or the qualities of courage, virtue, tenacity, and fortitude in meeting needs and solving life problems with the power that is in yourself. Human entrepreneurs are generally creative and innovative in fighting for their welfare. The purpose of this paper is to provide students with knowledge and skills through cooperative practices in student cooperatives (KOPMA) to have an entrepreneurial spirit. Entrepreneurial people need strong personalities to advance their lives. The need was endeavored to be met by an education organized at Laboratories called the Student Cooperative. Education has the task of preparing individuals who can responsibly obtain welfare of life through all aspects of personality, including morals, characters, intellectuals, and skills so that eventually individuals can stand alone in overcoming life's problems. Through cooperative practices held in KOPMA laboratories, both theoretical and practical students are provided with provisions such as: how to organize, get to know and assume responsibility both for themselves and for others, managerial skills in managing cooperative assets and their management. Through Student Cooperatives Student cooperative education also has theoretical and practical experience that can develop their entrepreneurial souls that are useful for overcoming life's problems in the future. This means that through cooperative practices held at the KOPMA Laboratory, every student is trained to develop their entrepreneurial spirit. Keywords: Entrepreneurship, Student Cooperatives (KOPMA)
