Abstract

The focusing of this research was reduplication form of TaaLanguage at AmpanaTeteSub District of TojoUnauna District of Central Sulawesi. This research was purposed to answer the problem of the reduplication form of Taa Language. The method which used in this research was descriptive qualitative method. It was a research method by describing the object of the research as it was, especially which directly related to data collection, data processing, and reporting arrangement of data result. The method which was used including to field research because the research direct to observe, to hear, and to note the recording of reduplication form of Taa Language. The result finding related to reduplication form which was found (a) full reduplication which divided on: full reduplication of nominal class, full reduplication of verbal class, full reduplication of adjective class, full reduplication of adverb class (b) partly reduplication which divided on: partly reduplication of nominal class, partly reduplication of verbal class, partlyreduplication of adjective class, partly reduplication of adverb class (c) combination reduplication by processing affixes form which divided on: reduplication of nominal affixes, reduplication of verbalaffixes, reduplication of adjectiveaffixes, reduplication of adverbaffixes.

Abstract

Permasalahan pada  penelitian ini adalah bagaimana saling tergantungan alam, budaya, dan manusia pada naskah drama Kondo Buleng ?. Sedangkan, tujuan penelitian adalah mendeskripsikan saling tergantungan alam, budaya, dan manusia pada naskah drama Kondo Buleng. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang menghasilkan data deskriptif berupa kata-kata tertulis. Data penelitian berupa teks yang berhubungan dengan ekokritik sastra pada  naskah drama Kondo Buleng. Sumber data adalah  naskah drama Kondo Buleng. Teknik pengumpulan data mengunakan metode studi pustaka, data yang telah terkumpul selanjutnya dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Data kualitatif yang terkumpul diinterpretasikan dengan teori ekokritik. Sementara, teknik analisis data yang digunakan penelitian pada ini adalah deskripstif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian diperoleh menujukkan bahwa  fakta-fakta bentuk saling tergantungan alam, budaya, dan manusia pada naskah drama Kondo Buleng adalah:  (1) Keseimbangan habitat antara alam, manusia, dan hewan, (2) sikap hormat terhadap alam, (3) tanggungjawab moral manusia menjaga lingkungan, dan (4) solidaritas antara manusia dengan hewan.

Abstract

Membaca merupakan aktivitas belajar yang efektif dalam mengembangkan wawasan dan ilmu pengetahuan. Di lingkup perguruan tinggi, membaca menjadi penunjang kemampuan dasar mahasiswa lainnya, seperti berbicara dan menulis. Tuntutan pendidikan di zaman kompetitif saat ini dibutuhkan minat baca dan keterampilan menulis yang baik dalam memecahkan berbagai persoalan. Mahasiswa yang sudah terampil menulis, seperti menulis karya tulis ilmiah, akan terbiasa berpikir sistematis, cermat, serta tidak sembarangan dalam mengidentifikasi dan memecahkan persoalan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan tingkat minat baca dan kemampuan menulis karya tulis ilmiah mahasiswa Pendidikan Bahasa Indonesia, Universitas Muslim Indonesia (UMI), serta untuk mengetahui tingkat korelasinya. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian korelasional. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan tes. Data yang terkumpul diolah menggunakan teknik analisis product moment pearson correlation. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hubungan antara minat baca dengan kemampuan menulis karya tulis ilmiah mahasiswa Pendidikan Bahasa Indonesia UMI memiliki tingkat korelasi yang kuat. Selain itu, minat baca mahasiswa juga memiliki hubungan yang positif dengan kemampuan menulis karya tulis ilmiah mahasiswa. Dengan demikian, semakin baik atau semakin tinggi minat baca mahasiswa, maka semakin baik pula kemampuan menulis karya tulis ilmiahnya.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the improvement of learning to speak by using the method of learning community (study group) in the students of class IXB SMP Negeri 19 Palu in the planning, implementation and assessment phase. The approach used in this research is qualitative descriptive approach. This type of research is a classroom action research. The data of this study were taken through tests and nontes. Data were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The result of the research shows that (1) this planning is done in collaboration with the teacher in preparing the lesson plan and the planning of language learning on the speaking skill aspect by using the learning community method on the aspect or criteria of speech assessment (the accuracy of speech, grammar, word choice, mastery of topics, voice volume, and gestures and mimics, (2) the implementation of cycle I, there are still many activities of students and teachers have not been done maximally.In the second cycle of learning to speak increased during the learning process, and (3) the evaluation results learning to speak through the application of learning community method (learning community) showed improvement.The results of speech test analysis showed that in the first cycle average value of 45 and including very low category increased in cycle II, that is with an average value of 74 and including the high category.As for the percentage results an increase of 29%. Keywords: Learning, Speaking, Methods Learning Community (Community Learning) Students Class IXB SMP Negeri 19 Palu

Abstract

This research is aim at explaining the use of language in social media including language impoliteness occurring in social media Facebook. This research is a qualitative research which uses two research approaches which are theoretical and methodological approaches. The data in this research is in the form of written data which is the Facebook users’ status updates that are considered violating politeness principles. The data obtained uses monitoring method by noting down every single discourse from Facebook media. The data gathered was analyzed by using normative method. Based on the result of the research, it can be presented that the use of language in social media Facebook embodies impoliteness. Moreover, the form of impoliteness in Facebook media materializes in discourse data embodying generosity impoliteness, humility impoliteness, acceptance impoliteness, sympathy impoliteness, and incompability impoliteness.
