Abstract

This study aims to find out and describe the development of poetry reading materials to meet the need of madihin art preservation in accordance with the demands of the curriculum and local cultural wisdom. The study used descriptive qualitative method. The data was collected through observation and interview techniques. The results are then processed by extracting and providing data, interpreting and presenting data, and analyzing data. The study was conducted in odd semester 2018/2019 with research subject the students of class X of SMKN 3 Banjarbaru. The results of the study concluded, the development of poetry teaching materials through madihin speech is very relevant to the purpose of poetry learning, while at the same time increasing students awareness to preserve traditional madihin arts.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the meaning of the doa Pangrokat in tradition Petik Laut Muncar inside Kalimati village, Banyuwangi. The meaning there are in the doa Pangrokat is divided into two meanings is the meaning of denotative and connotative meaning by using the theory of semiotics. This research is an ethnography white the semiotic approach. The data sources of this two informant. The results of this study show that difference of meaning. The difference is found in doa Pangrokat is are in trust local society on figures believed. Whereas the denotative meaning there are the doa Pangrokat about matters relating to Islamic.

Abstract

This research starts from the researchers’ observation that most students still haven't been able to write paragraphs correctly. During this time, students just write without regard to the concept of the right of the paragraph so that it causes a large number of errors in the writing of a paragraph especially deductive paragraph. This study aims to describe the interaction of the students with lecturers, students and lecturers. In addition, the study also aims to find out the factors that affect of the students in writing a deductive paragraph. Method of this research was using a combination of qualitative and quantitative. The collection of data in this study was conducted with the questionaire of enclosed, test the deductive paragraph writing performance, and useful observations. The questionqire closed spring results data would be presentation clearly; results of writing test data is described based on deductive paragraph writing assessment rubric by Oshima and Hogue (2006); data and observations are also useful is described clearly. Based on analysis of data researchers get results that 1) there were some factors which influence the students in writing deductive paragraph; 2) there were three learning interactions in writing deductive paragraph of students in FKIP Tridinanti University of Palembang.

Abstract

The problems discussed in this study are as follows. 1) What do speakers mean in the context of children's answers to hakunlah urang in the Banjar family? 2) What is meant by partners in the context of children's answers to hakunlah urang in the Banjar family? The objectives of this study are as follows: 1) what the speaker meant in the context of children's answers to hakunlah urang in the Banjar family 2) what is meant by partners talking in the context of children's answers to hakunlah urang in the Banjar family. Type of qualitative descriptive research. Data sources were disclosed by the Banjar community in Kampung Tabah, Banjar Regency. The time of data collection is January 2019 until March 2019. The technique of data collection is recording and recording. This research uses three steps of work, namely (1) providing data; (2) data analysis; and (3) presentation of the results of data analysis. The theory used is speech act. Data analysis results. 1). the purpose of the speaker in this title. Asking to buy something. b. asking to get something c. asking to do something immediately. d. forbid something. e. remind something. Meanwhile the purpose of the partners talking a. accept with pleasure b. accept by force. c. reject firmly. The conclusion is that the purpose of the speaker is to make the couple do something, while the couple's intention is to accept, accept by force, and refuse altogether

Abstract

Election 2019 creats lots of linguistics problems that interesting to be studied. One of them is big poster of  legislative candidates. This study discusses about kind of speech act and implicature in every speech of legislative candidates big poster in Tanah Bumbu Regency. The aim of this study is to describe kind of speech act and implicature in every speech of legislative candidates big poster. It is qualitative study using descriptive method. The data are in the form of sentences in the legislative candidates big poster, especially Tanah Bumbu Regency. To analyse the data, this study usesthe theory of peech act and implicature. The result shows that on legislative candidates big poster, there are commisive speech act, directive, expressive, and representative. The implicature that exist in the speech are in the form of inviting, asking for support, persuading, and convincing.

Abstract

Indonesia has lots of folklores. Usually, folklore reflects value, believe, and tradition of the society. One of them is a folklore entitled “Putri Gumbili dengan Bambang Haruman” from South Kalimantan. This folklore contains didactics values that can be valuable lesson for the readers. That is why this study is done to answer some questions what are didactics values in “Putri Gumbili dengan Bambang Haruman” folklore. This study aims to describe didactics values in South Kalimantan folklore entitled “Putri Gumbili dengan Bambang Haruman”. This study uses content analysis approach. To collect the data, this study uses library method. Meanwhile, to analyse the data this study uses descriptive qualitative method. Didactics values which are analysed in this folklore “Putri Gumbili dengan Bambang Haruman” are ethics value, philosophy value, religious value, and intellectual value. Base on the result, in ethics values, there are respect to the ruler, well-behaved, to know one’s place and return a favor. In philosophy value, there are mantaining harmonious relationship between husband and wife, nurturing children, paying attention to other people and be respect, and do good deeds. In religious value, there are pray for goodness, do not commit suicide, and obey to our parent. And the last one is intelletual value, there are having knowledge, having skill, and clever.
