Abstract

Layout is a technique of arranging facilities to be better than before which aims to minimize all costs and maximize profits. The purpose of this research is to optimize space in XYZ which produces oyster mushrooms. The optimization of space in this study uses the Activity Relationship Chart (ARC) method approach. ARC is a method that identifies the relationship of importance between one facility to another or one activity to another, whether it is important to bring it closer or it should be kept away. The results showed that the layout of the facilities in the XYZ home industry can still be optimized, including adding raw material warehouses, toilets, prayer rooms, ablution places, and the use of vacant land as oyster mushroom houses.

Abstract

There is an ample evidence to show how students’ cheating behaviours formed in Western countries, comparatively, few studies focused on Chinese students. The purpose of this study is to measure the influence of attitude, subjective norm (SN), perceived behavioural control (PBC), and additional variable which is moral obligation on intention among Chinese students who were studying in China and the U.K. A total of 540 useable questionnaires were collected based on web-based method for further hypotheses testing. The results show that attitude, SN, PBC and moral obligation positively influence intention to cheat respectively. The SN displays significant positive influence on attitude and moral obligation. In addition, statistically significant differences in SN, PBC and intention were obtained between gender, majors and educational level and studying places which show that males had more intention than females on cheating. Major of management students had more PBC than engineering and economics students, fresh and sophomore had more PBC than junior students, and students who were studying in U.K are more influenced by SN compared to who were studying in China. This study enriches the existing knowledge on how Chinese students’ attitude, SN, PBC and moral obligation on cheating intention based on divergent demographic characteristics.

Abstract

So far in 2019, the COVID-19 pandemic has claimed many lives. Due to the pandemic, many people have lost their jobs due to massive layoffs, and many businesses have failed. This journal examines the application of technology to business development in the post-COVID-19 era. Consequently, the purpose of this study is to develop businesses following the pandemic by utilizing the transformation of digital marketing technology and the difficulties in an era in which many individuals have used technology and social media to develop their businesses. Plans to utilize technology via websites or social media as well as e-commerce applications circulating on multiple platforms include: (a) determining sales goals or target markets; (b) preparing captions that attract buyers' interest in the goods we will market; and (c) planning sales goals to be achieved and managing expenses and income. The methods of digital marketing that we wish to describe are: a) promoting through product videos that pamper buyers; and b) creating their own website with an aesthetically pleasing design so that many interested individuals desire to purchase. As anticipated for research purposes, the results of this study indicate that digital marketing can be utilized as a means of business development in the post-pandemic era.Through the use of technology, businesses are able to develop rapidly, and the information that can be accessed is accurate and quick, thereby expanding the scope of sales.

Abstract

The explosion of e-commerce businesses has seen the growth number of the online businesses worldwide. Retailers nowadays are opting with e-commerce platform to manage and monitor the business activities which is considerably convenience such as visualizing the sales data. However, Serbaneka is still using traditional way to store the sales data such as in spreadsheet papers which lead to data loss or misplaced the sales record. The objective of this research is to study the current usage of e-commerce system among hostel students in UiTM Tapah. A preliminary survey was carried out by eight selected hostel students in order to generate a list of criteria based on students' previous experiences with e- commerce systems. The following objective is to develop a web- based convenience store system using multidimensional data visualization for Serbaneka UiTM Tapah. The System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method is used in the development of Online Convenience Store System for Serbaneka UiTM Tapah. Besides, multidimensional data visualization is used as method in visualizing the sales data of Serbaneka UiTM Tapah. Other than that, this research is to evaluate the usability of the system using Post-Study System Usability Questionnaire (PSSUQ) approach. The PSSUQ evaluation is evaluated by three selected experts. The results of PSSUQ evaluation stated that the experts satisfied with the development of Online Convenience Store System using Multidimensional Data Visualization for Serbaneka UiTM Tapah. This is due to the system's ability to assist retailers Serbaneka UiTM Tapah in managing and monitoring the business activities.

Abstract

This paper aims to see the effectiveness of computerized simulation with electronic circuits on students' motivation, achievement and cognitive load. This study uses mechanical electronic circuit simulation as a teaching aid and facilitator for students studying Design and Technology subjects. The objective of this study is to evaluate the effect of using simulation on students' motivation, achievement and cognitive load. This study is also to discuss the development of Simulation and laboratory worksheets for LiveWire software that will be developed for the Design & Technology subject for second-year students at the high school level. The method presented using LiveWire is a systematic work step in exploring the use of simulation for electronic circuits. This electronic circuit simulation is able to give students the ability to read, interpret and transfer wiring circuits to schematic circuits. This LiveWire simulation is also suitable and able to improve the construction of meaningful knowledge for students. Assessment is done through post-tests, Instructional Material Motivation Scale (IMMS) questions and the NASA Task Load Index cognitive load test. The results of this study show that electronic circuit simulation has a positive effect on students' motivation, achievement and cognitive load.
