Abstract

ABSTRACT: Consuming goods for the necessities of life is a natural thing. However, consuming that exceeds the limit until wasting should be avoided. The dilemma of human needs today presents a new phenomenon in terms of fulfilling the necessities of life. This phenomenon is none other than-widely known by society- consumerism. The process is to use goods of production in excess or inappropriate manner consciously and sustainably. So, this phenomenon (consumerism) continues to be one of the central themes in this era of globalization. Unfortunately, the ferocity of this ideological influence ostracizes the fundamental values that exist within each individual. Consumerism eliminates the significance of the basic essence that exists in man. Humans who should remember the nature of themselves as social beings who are always connected to one another in this cosmos are now slowly losing that meaning. With the mindset and lifestyle of consumptive, human as if imprisoned and alienated. Quality of life is no longer measured based on the value of meaningfulness for others and the environment but measured by materials. This consequence becomes a fundamental crisis which is humans essence degradation. Abstract

Abstract: Globalization has a significant impact on the dynamics of human life. The activities and creativities of individuals in society are facilitated. Everyone's knowledge and relations are increasingly widespread. Humans are becoming increasingly compliant in various dimensions: space and time. The cool breeze brought by modernity refreshes the external needs of personal and communal life. But the cool breeze of modernity inevitably lulls the deepest elements of life. Humans must be treated humanly, experiencing lameness. This dimension is blurred because it is rarely criticized because the society, both globally (world) and locally (Indonesia) is lulled by the pleasures of modernity. In the light of Hans Kung's thought, the perspectives in this discourse affirm the commitment to realize human authenticity in general, in a global context and implementation into the local domain, our Indonesian. The ideas presented in this thesis frame  -more less- a fundamental problem experienced by modern humans and the possibility of anticipation in the future so that the hope of realizing authentic human beings as outward and spiritual in nature, will not lost eroded and carried away by globalization.  keywords:Globalization, Fundamental Demands, Authentication, Commitment, Implementation, Spirit of Pancasila Abstrak: Globalisasi membawa dampak signifikan dalam dinamika hidup manusia. Kata-kata kunci: Globalisasi, Tuntutan Fundamental, Otentisasi, Komitmen, Implementasi, Semangat Pancasila.

Abstract

Abstract: Theological attitude and political position of Christians in Indonesia is ambivalent, wich cause these people to be cornered as minority parasite. This situation needs to be adressed, and deeper understanding of Reformed heritage and Sam Ratulangis struggle in the dire era of Indonesian birth in 1945 can inspire a new mode of theology and Indonesian Christian political presence today. In this light, the strategic direction of Christian politics lies in the pluralism political movement. KEYWORS: incognito, civil obedience, minority politics, majoritarianism, politics of citizenship plurality

Abstract

ABSTRACT: In God's Revelation, the structure of the covenant consists of God's promises and Israels answer to them. In the covenant God has revealed Himself personally to both individuals and his chosen people. In the theology of religion developed by Hendrik Kraemer, there are two types of religion: The (prophetic) religion based on Gods revelation and the other (naturalist) religions are based on efforts to grasp the identity of his real self with divine reality, this is called as trans-empirical self realization. What is the essence of religion based on God's self revelation? God's revelation is the only source of all knowledge about true spirituality and the salvation in Christ. The Bible as the witness of God's revelation to prophets and apostles is the criterion of all religious truth. The Bible relates the history of redemption, gives a foundation to personal faith, and is the only guidebook to the life and work of the Christian community. From this starting point I try to analyze the Biblical concept of religious truth as the standard for determining religions, and to give a real answer to Gods self revelation. KEYWORDS: covenant, revelation, faith, religion.
