Abstract

The change in people's lifestyle that demands convenience in fulfilling their needs affects the phenomenon of minimarket business growth. Currently in Bandung, the competition for minimarkets is getting tighter, including among Alfamart, Circle K, Indomaret, SBMart, and Yomart who continue to compete to provide the best service to consumers. The purpose of this study was to determine the positioning of the five minimarket outlets in Bandung, namely Alfamart, Circle-K, Indomaret, SB Mart, and Yomart based on consumer perceptions in the city of Bandung. This consumer perception is measured by six retail mix attributes, including customer service, location, store layout and design, merchandise assessment, communication mix, and pricing. This research uses quantitative methods with descriptive types. The data collection method was carried out by distributing questionnaires online to 390 respondents in the city of Bandung. The data analysis technique in this study is Multidimensional Scaling. The results of the study indicate that Indomaret occupies the first position that excels in the attributes of customer service, location, merchandise assortment, communication mix, and pricing. Alfamart occupies the second position that excels in the store layout and design attributes. Next, Yomart is in third position, Circle K is in fourth position, and SB Mart is in fifth. Suggestions are given, Indomaret and Alfamart must continue to maintain excellence in the attributes that have been obtained so that they still have a good perception in the minds of consumers.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui secara empiris mengenai pengaruh strategi pengembangan dan kualitas karyawan terhadap kinerja karyawan PDAM Tirta Intan Garut Pusat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif yaitu menggambarkan keadaan strategi pengembangan dan kualitas karyawan pada PDAM Tirta Intan Garut Pusat. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan melalui kuesioner dan wawancara. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 83 orang karyaean. Teknik pengambilan sampel degan menggunakan metode sensus (sampel jenuh). Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan pengujian hipotesis dengan regresi linier berganda. Abstract

One important indicator of the development of the capital market can be seen from the value of the composite stock price index. The composite price index reflects the performance of all stocks listed in a particular country. The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between the stock exchanges of countries in Asia which consist of the stock exchanges of Indonesia, Malaysia and South Korea because these three countries are the oldest emerging markets in Asia, but these three countries have had a significant impact on the financial crisis. 1997 and 2008. The data used is the period January 1995 to December 2015 with two research formulas, namely the first is to test whether the stock exchanges of Indonesia, Malaysia, and South Korea are integrated and the second is to test which stock exchange is the most dominant among them. these three countries. The results of this study show that there is a long-term relationship between the capital markets of Indonesia, Malaysia and South Korea which is stated in the results of the cointegration test.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of service quality and promotion on customer satisfaction at Pizza Express Jakarta. This research uses descriptive and verification methods. The respondents of this study were 96 respondents who were selected using incidental sampling techniques. The analysis technique used in this research is validity and reliability testing, descriptive analysis, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression, and hypothesis testing using SPSS. 20. The results showed that there was an effect of service quality on customer satisfaction at Pizza Express Jakarta. There is a promotional effect on customer satisfaction at Pizza Express Jakarta. And there is an effect of service quality and promotion on customer satisfaction at Pizza Express Jakarta. The conclusion of this research is that the formulation of the problem can be answered by the research hypothesis. So it is suggested to other researchers to conduct research with other variables which the author does not examine but affects this research such as; brand image, pricing, product quality and others.

Abstract

An establishment has a lot of resources, and human resources is one of the resources. Human resource is the most crucial asset for the company, because human resource is the one which determines the success of the company. This research is intended to find out the implementation of carrier planning at PT. X. The method used in this research is descriptive. Techniques of data collecting used are bibliography study, interviewing, and distributing questionnaires. While for reprocessing the questionnaire, researchers used Likert Scale. The sampling technique used is census sampling technique, out of 20 employees of The Human Resource Department at PT. X. The result of research shows that the implementation of carrier planning at PT. X is generally good. Organization appraisal about the ability and capability of the employee is in good criteria, but in individual performance appraisal about interest of employees, career needs, and career goals, the organization role in giving the career information to the employees, and the organization role in giving the career counselling to the employees are in bad criteria. The four mentioned things show that the implementation of career planning has not been optimum.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the description of asset quality or Non-Performing Financing (NPF), liquidity or Finanacing to Deposit Ratio (FDR), profitability or Return ON Equity (ROE), as well as the effect of asset quality and liquidity on profitability at Bank Syariah Mega Indonesia. The method used in this research is descriptive and verification using secondary data with a sample of data for the period 2009-2017 that has been published by Bank Syariah Mega Indonesia. The results of this study are The NPF, FDR, and ROE values of Bank Syariah Mega Indonesia experience fluctuating movements from year to year. Based on the results of simultaneous statistical tests, it can be concluded that asset quality (NPF) and liquidity (FDR) have a relationship with profitability (ROE). Asset quality has an influence with a negative coefficient while asset quality has an influence with a positive coefficient on the profitability of Bank Syariah Mega Indonesia. Asset quality (NPF) and liquidity (FDR) simultaneously and jointly affect profitability (ROE).

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the effect of company size on financial performance and its implications for firm value. Company size is proxied by total assets and total sales, financial performance is proxied by return on assets, while firm value is proxied by the value of tobin 's q. The theoretical basis used to support this research is signaling theory. This study uses a sample of manufacturing companies listed consistently on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2010 to 2016. The data used is panel data. The data analysis technique used is path analysis. The results of the study explain that total assets have a negative and significant effect on financial performance, total sales have a positive and significant effect on financial performance, simultaneously total assets and total sales have a significant effect on financial performance, total assets have a negative and significant effect on firm value, total sales have a significant effect. positive and significant impact on firm value, financial performance has a positive and significant effect on firm value, simultaneously total assets, total sales and financial performance have a significant effect on firm value, financial performance can mediate the effect of total assets on firm value, and financial performance can mediate the effect total sales against firm value.

Abstract

Employees are a very important resource for the survival of the company, so it is necessary to pay attention to matters relating to employee performance in order to achieve company goals. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of compensation and work environment on employee performance at CV. RGSB Blessing Jaya Garut. The sample in this study were employees who worked at CV. RGSB Berkah Jaya Garut, as many as 55 people. The sampling technique is saturated or census technique. The data analysis used is the multiple regression analysis technique using SPSS software. The results of the analysis in this study indicate that H1 there is an effect of compensation and work environment simultaneously on employee performance at CV. RGSB Berkah Jaya Garut, then H2 there is an effect of compensation on employee performance at CV. RGSB Berkah Jaya Garut, and H3 there is an influence of the work environment on employee performance at CV. RGSB Blessing Jaya Garut.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Taxpayer Ethics on Taxpayer Compliance with Taxpayer Knowledge as a Moderating Variable at KPP Pratama Garut. The sample size of 81,604 taxpayers in 2017 as a population is determined using the Slovin formula with a sample size of 100 respondents with respondent characteristics, namely: Gender, Age, Last Education, Type of Work, and Income. The data analysis method is simple linear regression analysis and moderated regression analysis. Based on the results of simple linear regression calculations, it shows that taxpayer ethics has a positive and significant effect on taxpayer compliance at Garut Pratama Tax Office. Meanwhile, based on the results of the moderation regression calculation, it shows that the taxpayer's knowledge can moderate the effect of taxpayer ethics on taxpayer compliance at Garut Tax Office.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of leadership and work environment on employee productivity at PD. Gaya Hadjah Dick&Dick (Dodol Garut Hadjah)”. The hypothesis used in this study is that there is an influence of leadership and work environment on employee productivity at PD. Gaya Hadjah Dick&Dick (Dodol Garut Hadjah)”. This research uses a descriptive method. The respondents in this study were 125 respondents. The analysis technique used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS window 20.0. The partial test results show that leadership has an effect on employee productivity and the work environment has an effect on employee productivity. Furthermore, for simultaneous testing, it shows that leadership and work environment affect employee productivity at PD. Gaya Hadjah Dick&Dick (Dodol Garut Hadjah)”.
