Abstract

Grants is a program launched by the government as a means to develop the potential of the region or contribute to society in the form of money or objects In submitting as Grant there are many sources of data stored in the system e -Grant, The amount of the proposal Grant is very much in each period so as to be reorganized, One solution for the storage of e-submission of the Grant is to build a data warehouse, Due to the technological development of data warehouse will be able to support the creation of a single access door managerial parties in obtaining information in the data warehouse, The design of the data warehouse were calculated using a four step Kimball, Methods Kimball 4 step has the advantages of a more compact, dynamic, and supports the creation of a data warehouse that is structured output of the data warehouse to the e-Grant in the form of Reports Grant and a recapitulation of Grant where reports Grant is being used as an attachment to a defense in response to the report Expenditure Provincial Bali whereas Summary of Grants used for List SKPD to evaluate the Grant recipient.

Abstract

Brake lining technology is developing rapidly to adjust the absorption media in which the vehicle's braking system is operating. Material commonly used as a brake lining is asbestos and its alloys, but this material is very dangerous to the environment and health. This research was developed to overcome these problems, namely finding alternative brake lining pads material that has good mechanical and physical properties. Brake lining material is made from a hybrid composite reinforced basalt, shellfish, alumina, and phenolic resin (PR-51510i) as a binding matrix. This brake lining material is produced through a process of sintering at a temperature of 150 ° C with a load of 2000 kg for 30 minutes. These hybrid composites are made in as many as three variations, each of which is tested for olie absorption at several variations of immersion time. Immersion 3 days hardness of hybrid composite and asbestos brake lining material is still quite high between 24-28 HVN. The highest hardness at that time was an H1 specimen of 28.00 HVN. Then the hardness of the brake lining material decreases with the addition of immersion time and is close to stable at the

Abstract

Department of Communications and Informatics, appointed as Executor of Handling Complaint Society in Denpasar City. Over time and more complex data complaints that come in so complicate the data analysis, to overcome the data it is necessary implementation of data warehouse. The method used is Snowflake Schema, this method is chosen because this method is the development of star schema where each dimension table can have sub-table dimension. It aims to minimize data overload. From the results of the implementation in get the conclusion that by implementing data warehouse can facilitate the user in view report in accordance with the desired from summary to detail.

Abstract

Tourism, accommodation, and transportation service industries are business with high prospects, especially in Bali. Development of digital technology into the e-travel industry has business processes that can be optimized through a data warehouse with a variety of data as the initial start of analyst business data. A problem reality is less and almost no travel company has developed a data warehouse to support business needs. Building a data warehouse is a technology to increase business value through data analysis on a variety of stored data. Using the fourth steps dimensional modeling methodology, the data warehouse is expected to be in accordance with the company's analysis to increase business needs. The design results consist of determining business processes, grain declaration on dimensions, identifying dimensions, and determining facts. The design results using snowflake scheme and become a solution for companies to predict business trends, maintain quality, improve competitiveness, and exist in the long run

Abstract

Abstract—The purpose of this study is to develop a decision support system to decide the best new English Teacher. The methods used are method of analysis, design method, and literature study. The learning method that is done is to survey the running company system, conduct interview with HRD, and analysis the survey. In literature study conducted by looking for references sources related to the research undertaken. The design is data management subsystem, knowledge base model and user interface. The results achieved are the creation of an application decision support system that can be used to select the most appropriate English teacher and in accordance with the criteria required. This system helps support the decision-making process for new English teacher. Keywords—system, decision, analytical hierarchy process (AHP)

Abstract

Cooperatives have a key role for women by providing access to generating income activities. Women have access to general production resources like credit, land, marketing facilities, infrastructure, equipment, and technology. All of that resources can increase their income. By shaping themselves into cooperatives, they can get benefit from economies scale and increase their access to the labor market. Cooperatives can be the best instruments to improve women’s welfare and for the development of transformations such as more open minded by using the most profitable female cooperatives. As one of the existing regencies in Bali Province, Gianyar regency has rapid development of female cooperative. In this research will clustering female cooperative by using WEKA application with Expectation-Maximization Algorithm. From the result, government can maintance which female cooperation should be put on watchlist.

Abstract

In activated carbons (AC’s) production, activation process has a significant role toward characteristics of AC’s yielded. The aim of this research is to investigate the activated carbons (AC’s) characteristics of tabah bamboo (Gigantochloc nigrociliata) manufactured by physical and chemical activations. Physical activation was carried out by heating up to 800° C, holding at that temperature during 1.5 hours under N2 flow. Chemical activation was undertaken by mixing a carbon precursor with activating agent (H3PO4) with weight ratio 1:1 during 6 hours. The mixed carbon precursor and H3PO4 was then heated up to 700° C, soaked during 1.5 hours under N2 flow. The results show that activated carbon (AC) provided by chemical activation has higher fix carbon and carbon (C) contents and lower ash, moisture and volatile then physical activation. AC manufactured by chemical activation yields 85.47 % fix carbon and 86.33 % carbon, meanwhile AC produced by physical activation has 82.28 % fixed carbon and 84.16.% carbon. Both types of activation give proximate analysis value that have fulfilled of Indonesian National Standard of AC (SNI 06-3730-1995)

Abstract

The development and the use of information technology increased significantly must be balanced with the evaluation process to determine the standardization of technologies that are already running so it can be used as a reference for the future policy formulation. One way to evaluate is to audit. In this study, to discuss the evaluation of using information technology at the College of Design (STD) Bali. Its objective is to conduct an audit for using information technology in accordance with the standards of ISO 20000 and COBIT 5 framework. In ISO 20000 framework, the focus is on the process while in the Service Management Process meanwhile COBIT 5 framework is focused on the evaluation domain, likes Evaluate, Direct, and Monitor (EDM). When do the audit, the process begins with the collection of data through interviews and questionnaires with sources that have been determined in accordance with the domain and control objectives are consists students, faculty, and staff of STD Bali. Furthermore, in the process of data analysis, conducted several stages of the domain determination, determination of process control, determination of indicators, and the mapping of the level of maturity (maturity level). The conclusion of the process of evaluation of using information technology in STD Bali is on level 3, it defined where STD Bali application of information technology has done well and is already prevalent in all fields.

Abstract

Udayana University has now implemented an integrated information system that covers ongoing business processes by involving all components of the academic community. All data circulating in the integrated system leads to the Data Warehouse (DWH). DWH has a goal as a data integration system, report generation, data analysis, and executive information provider. With the importance of the application of this DWH and the frequent problems that are inaccuracies in the data generated by the system, an audit is needed to evaluate the system, assess system capabilities and make recommendations for improvements so that it can support the achievement of system objectives. Audits conducted using the COBIT 5 framework are focused on the purpose of providing IT services according to business needs. This study focuses on evaluating one of COBIT 5's business objectives, namely Optimization of business process functions, which involves 5 domains consisting of 28 processes and acquired capability value which is 3.04 which states that the implementation of IT services has gone well, has been established and has standards
