Abstract

Among the 3 (three) cash flows contained in a company, the cash flows from operations are considered to be the most important cash flow in the company and most determine the success of the company in achieving its main objective, namely profit optimally. The purpose of this study was to study the effect of cash flows from operating activities, company size, and company age on company profits. The research method used is the quantitative research method, using the ordinary least square method. The unit of analysis is the company. Sample selection is done purposively. The sample is 12 banking companies listed on the Bursa Effek Indonesia.The results showed that cash flows from operating activities and company size did not have a significant effect on corporate profits. The age variable of the company turned out to have a significant effect on company profits, but the sign or the coefficient was reversed. This means that the older the company age, the lower the company's profit.

Abstract

Shopping becomes a relevant component. Shopping has become a factor that influences the choice of destination, travel, travel and travel. With the desire to develop, it is an interesting phenomenon for policy makers, academics and business leaders around the world. The city of Bandung, as one of the cities called "shopping paradise" has attracted many foreign tourists (tourists). The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors of foreign tourists perceived value towards shopping tourism in the city of Bandung. The results of the analysis in this study stated that there are 5 (five) new factors of tourist perceived value of shopping tourism. The five factors are: (1) Emotional Value, (2) Value for Money, (3) Social Value, (4) Hedonic Value, and (5) Functional Value. The most dominant factor is Emotional Value because it has the highest Eigen Value. This research recommend coordination between the Government of Bandung City to improve the city infrastructure so as to provide comfort for foreign tourists when visiting the city of Bandung. In addition, there are also innovations in terms of payment when shopping, innovations in shopping centers that are expected to increase tourist satisfaction so the creation of repeat visits also recommends to other foreign tourists.

Abstract

Training is a systematic process of changing the behavior of employees in a direction to improve organizational goals. Quality employees are not created by themselves. Education and training is one of the important tools in supporting the improvement of work performance of employees. Education and training not only adds knowledge but can also improve work skills and will ultimately affect productivity improvements. The purpose of the company is to improve the quality and performance of its employees. Therefore, the Company engages its employees in training in the hope of bringing positive changes to the company. In this study the authors used descriptive methods. Data collection techniques used were observation, questionnaires, and documentary studies. The population in this study included private employees who worked in the city of Pontianak. Because the population in this study is less than one hundred, the entire population is sampled. The conclusion in this study is that the employee training policy of the employees studied in the city of Pontianak has been running well. Where in the employee training policy an overview of the work, knowledge, skills and expertise in the work is given.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship education is an important factor to help young people to know and pursue entrepreneurial behavior. Therefore, currently many universities require entrepreneurship education. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of curriculum entrepreneurship at President University towards Entrepreneurial Interest, Knowledge, and Student Orientation. Data was collected through an online questionnaire. A total of 219 students were sampled. Based on the results of descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression analysis, it was found that curriculum entrepreneurship applied at President University had a positive influence on Entrepreneurial Interest, Knowledge, and Student Orientation.

Abstract

The number of entrepreneurs in Indonesia increased in 2017 from 1.67% to 3.10% from 225 million Indonesians. But the number is still less than the number of our neighboring entrepreneurs, Malaysia has 6% entrepreneurs, Singapore 7% and Thailand 5%. Increasing the number of entrepreneurs shows the increasing economic growth of a country, therefore the government made various efforts encourages the growth of the number of entrepreneurs in Indonesia, through education in this case the ministry of education provides an appeal for entrepreneurship to be included as part of the curriculum, both at the high school and university level. Entrepreneurship education giving the students experiances of various technical and skills to become more confident as an entrepreneurs. Beside of education, motivation, personality and family background also determine entrepreneurial intention. The aims of this research is to find out the entrepreneurial education, entrepreneurial motivation, entrepreneurial personality and family background influence on entrepreneurial intention. This study uses a sample of 326 business students of President University. The data collection using google docs that is spreaded via whatshapp, line and email. The result of the study were processed using SPSS version 22. The conclusion show that independent variables (entrepreneurial education, entrepreneurial motivation, entrepreneurial personality and family background) influence on entrepreneurial intention with affected 54.4% and the rest by the others factors.

Abstract

Many board of directors research was dominated by director diversification. In this study the researcher try to explore Hayman and Hilman (2010) research that enforce board of directors diversification as on of competitive advantage of the firm that strengten firm performance. Using strategic management lenses we provide new perspective and also adding change management as one of the outcome of direction diversification.
