Abstract

The problem examined in this study is: how the change dynamics of religious and socio-cultural patterns in an urban community, Tanggul Rejo, Porong District, Sidoarjo Regency, can be elaborated from the perspective of community development ?. To uncover the problem, this study used a phenomenological approach emphasizing human’s action in a social relationship and mutual interaction in terms of providing and understanding meaning. In addition, this study employed qualitative methods, enriched by direct and intensive involvement of researchers on the field. Related to data collection, this study utilized in-depth interview techniques, documentation, and observation. The collected data thus was analyzed by an iterative (continuous) strategy which was developed further during the research process. The strategy was conducted through some crucial steps: the elaboration of research problem, data collection, data reduction, data presentation, the process of drawing conclusions, and verifying the data. The findings indicate that the urban community at the research setting has a lack of religious knowledge, resulting to changes in their religious behavior and lifestyle in the daily activities. Additionally, this situation could impact on the residential development sector. Moreover, their behavior patterns also generate the fading of the trust in other communities although these communities have desire to contribute in the development sector in the urban area of Tanggul Rejo. The deviation of behavior patterns in the urban community of Tanggul Rejo apparently also influences significant changes in their socio-cultural system, which leads to the emergence of hedonist and westernist behaviors. Based on this phenomenon, community development strategies have been advocated by some agents of change implementing such various strategies as a religious approach and being involved in the infrastructure and moral development process in this community.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to elaborate comprehensively about the differences that can be explored from Islamic education management and western education management. This study uses a library research method with documentation study as a data collection technique. The results showed that there were at least five substantial differences between Islamic education management and western education management. The difference lies in the purpose of education, basic education, curriculum management, student management, and management of educational institutions.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the single application (information system and administration of religious teachers) to improve the quality of service for PAI teachers in the Ministry of Religion office in Surabaya. This study used the descriptive qualitative method. The subjects in this study were the kindergarten, elementary, junior high, and high school PAI teachers in the city of Surabaya. After doing this research, it can be concluded that the standby application is able to improve the service quality of the pais section in the city of the Ministry of Religion Surabaya.

Abstract

Whether bad or qualified or poorly educated will be much influenced by the governance system. Educational governance systems will develop well when implemented through good systems by clean and professional managers. The system has been designed in detail by the government established through the number 19 of 2007 permendiknas on "Education Management Standards by the elementary and secondary education units". The minister is prepared by the government to set up a good, balanced, and sustainable governance system At the Inquiry planning level, program planning organized by educational institutions should reflect the vision, mission, objectives, and work plan, as a raw material or reference of education policy at the managerial level. This paper will discuss the educational planning process and work plan of educational institutions in order to achieve shared ideals for a better educational future.

Abstract

This research aims to see the extent to which e-book services at IAIN Kediri have been utilized by musicians. The theory used is ebook and Pustaka services. Using a qualitative approach, this study concluded that ebook services are very useful for respondents. The majority of users know the collection over the internet. Pemustaka is able to browse e-book collections independently without using the help of librarians. Pemustaka explores the collection of e-books through a google search engine and web library. The behavior of the user in using the e-book service is: directly read on the screen, download the e-book file, saved as a private collection, in print., respondents make use of the collection of e-books for personal collections and references. While the information in the e-book is used by respondents to create articles, and add knowledge.

Abstract

The multi-dimensional crisis that has hit this nation has provided a new discourse to prepare a very crucial step to be operationalized in the life of this nation, especially the next generation, namely character education. Character education is implemented in schools from elementary school to college level. The Scout Movement is an educational movement for young people, voluntary, non-political, open to all, regardless of origin, race, ethnicity, and religion, which organizes scouting through a value system based on Satya and Darma Pramuka. Based on that understanding, schools should organize scouting as a fun educational process for young people, under the responsibility of adult members, which is carried out outside the school and family educational environment, with specific objectives, basic principles, and educational methods. Scouting education as extracurricular activities in primary to secondary schools refers to Permendikbud No.81A of 2013. In addition, there are regulations in Law No. 12/2010, which regulate the implementation of scouting education. In addition, there is a regulation in Law Number 12 the Year 2010, which regulates the implementation of scouting education. In the implementation of the 2013 curriculum, scouting extracurricular activities can be implemented in 3 models, namely: (1) Block system which is implemented at the beginning of school entry; (2) Actualization System, the learning process of each subject into Scouting Education; and (3) Regular System for students who have an interest and interest in becoming a member of the scout. Revitalization of the scout movement needs to be done so that scouting activities can be held in higher quality, attract interest and become the choice of students, and create students with strong characteristics to become future leaders of the nation in various fields of life. In order to support and strengthen these policies, planning of scout extracurricular activities is absolutely necessary.

Abstract

The concept of Insan kamil (the perfect man) is one of the important themes in the Sufism. One of the evidence that could be peculiary noted is the witten books of Sufism about the human and perfection. And among the Sufis who studied intensively the concept of Insan Kamil is Murtadha Muthahhari. according to Murtadha Muthahhari, Insan Kamil is man who lives according to the contents of al-Qur’an and hadist. This reseaech focuses on the concept of Insan Kamil Murtadha Muthahhari. and basically the concept of Insan Kamil Murtadha Muthahhari has different characteristics with the consept of Insan Kamil al-Jili. Therefore, this research looks for the a side comparison between the concept of Insan Kamil al-Jili and Murtadha Muthahhari. the research method used is a method of hermeneutic interpretation and there are two kinds of data used; namely primary and secondary. In this case, the researcher uses literature sources and it is hoped this research can become a reference for figures who want to study the concept of Insan Kamil.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the policy of teaching and learning activities carried out at IHAQI Creative Boarding School Bandung. This research uses a qualitative method, in collecting information and data on the use of observation techniques and interviews online. The results of the research found that the implementation of the policy of teaching and learning activities during this pandemic has been implemented three learning models, namely (1) Model Online School (2) Model Online School and Daurah (3) Model Boarding School and Daurah. In line with the increasing development of covid-19, the headmaster determined the policy of teaching and learning activities using the online school model, this model becomes a more effective first choice. The learning used in this online school model uses media such as zoom, google classroom, google meet, and IHAQI E-Learning application. This policy is established in order to create security and protection for all stakeholders in pesantren environment because health is the main capital in carrying out healthy learning activities.

Abstract

This study aims to determine in-depth the factors that cause aggressiveness in early childhood at “X Islamic Preschool Yogyakarta. Subjects in this study amounted to 3 early childhood (AUD) who studied at “X” Islamic Preschool. Two are male and one is female. The three children did not have a history of attention deficit and hyperactive disorder (ADHD). Significant persons in this study are parents (father and mother), teachers, and also household assistants (especially for subjects who have it). The method used in this research is qualitative with a collective case study approach. Data collection techniques by interview, observation, and documentation. The data obtained were analyzed using a content analysis approach. The result revealed the factors causing aggressiveness are untrained emotional skills. In addition, there are also new findings in this study, namely: unfulfilled desires and parenting tend to be permissive. The new findings in this study can complement studies related to aggressive behavior, especially in early childhood.

Abstract

The curriculum is a system that has components that are closely related and support one another. The curriculum components consist of objectives, learning materials, methods, and evaluation. In this system form the curriculum will run towards an educational goal with mutual cooperation among all its subsystems. If one of the curriculum variables does not function properly, the curriculum system will run less well and optimally. Departing from the form of the curriculum, in the implementation of the curriculum, an organization of all its components is needed. In this organizing process, it will be closely related to planning, organizing, implementing, and controlling. Whereas management is one of the disciplines whose implications are implementing these processes. So in implementing curriculum implementation, a person who manages an educational institution must master the science of management, both to take care of education or the curriculum. Curriculum management is a pattern of empowering education personnel and other educational resources to improve the quality of education. The curriculum itself determines the success of teaching and learning activities maximally. Curriculum management deals with the management of learning experiences that require certain strategies to produce learning productivity for students. Especially during the current covid pandemic. Principals, teachers, and other staff members must be able to initiate and create a strategy where the implementation of the KMB continues even though it is constrained by this covid, which results in one of which is the absence of direct meetings or face-to-face meetings with students.
