Abstract

Leaf avocado (Persea americana, mill) and Banana Mas (Moses sp) is a plant that has high potassium content and low levels of sodium. The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of addition of avocado leaf extract to organoleptic quality and potassium banana pudding level. Type of research is true experimental with completely randomized design method. The data used was obtained directly from 25 semi trained panelists. Data analyzed by using ANOVA, if different real continued with Test Duncan. Addition of Leaf avocado and Banana Mas affect the levels of acceptance in terms of color, aroma and flavor but does not affect the texture. Addition of eggs also affects the level of potassium. Best assessment results obtained on treated banana with the addition of avocado leaf extract as much 250 ml ©. Abstract

Hair is said to fall out if it reaches 50-100 strands. This research aims to analyze the use of senseviera as hair tonic for the treatment of hair loss .This research is a quasi-experiment with the design of Non Equivalent Control Group Design. The population is women aged 19-25 years who use hijab. The sampling technique was carried out by purposive sampling technique conducted voluntarily as many as 9 people. After obtaining the data, the normality test, homogeneity test and variance analysis test (ANAVA) were first carried out and continued with the duncan test.The results of the analysis showed that there was no change in the control group (X1) with an average value of 2.33 (pretest) to 2.73 (posttest). For the experimental group 1 frequency of 2 times a day (X2) since the first treatment (pretest) can be seen changes with an average of 2.00 (pretest) to 3, 33 (posttest). Whereas in the experimental group 2 frequency 1 time 3 days (X3) also changed since and get an average of 2.00 (pretest) to 3.07 (posttest). The average calculation of the three treatment groups stated that Fcount> Ftable (5,810> 1,860), which means that there was a significant.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the potential development of a tourist attraction in Tourism Destinations of Ikan Sakti Sungai Janiah Kecamatan Baso Kabupaten Agam. This study used qualitative and SWOT analysis. The data source is Head of Tourism, Youth and Sports, the Chief Manager of Tourism Destinations, Community Leaders, and tourists. The techniques of data collection were through interviews, observation, and documentation. Data were analyzed qualitatively including reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results showed that the potential development of tourist attraction in this tourists destination is tracking, flying fox, fishing pond, bathhouse, camping area, playground, park, packaging art such as; Randai, dances, Debus, Talempong Pacik, Pupuik, Makan Bajamba, and Martial Arts Performances. Development strategies of a tourist attraction by optimizing the natural resources that already exist, giving training in tourism awareness to the community, building cooperation with local governments, managers and the public in the packaging of a tourist attraction, improve human resources by providing training and looking for investors in the development of tourist attraction, and increasing community involvement in the management of a tourist attraction.

Abstract

Thisdstudy originated from the resultsiofiprevious studies where there were problems regarding the process of managing the procurement of perishable goods that did not have written procedures, the quality requirements of the material written and standardized in the hotel. To continue the problem where there are still problems related to food quality at breakfast at The Aliga Hotel Padang. This study aims to analyze food quality at breakfast at The Aliga Hotel Padang. This type of studyiisiquantitativepdescriptive. The population in this study were guests who stayed and breakfast at The Aliga Hotel Padang. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The totaliofisamplesiin this study amounted to 91 people. Data collection techniques were carried out by distributing questionnaires (questionnaires) using the Liker scale that has been tested for validity and reliability. Thenitheidata wereianalysisithrough data tabulation and descriptive data using percentages. Based on the research that has been done, the results obtained that the quality of food at breakfast at The Aliga Hotel Padang is in the category of enough with a percentage of 45.05%. Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini berawal dari pengamatan terhadap mahasiswa dengan latar belakang pendidikan SMA/MA yang jumnlahnya makin lama makin berkurang Pada Program Studi Pendidikan Kesejahteraan Keluarga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendreskipsikan dan mengetahui faktor-faktor motivasi mahasiswa dengan latar belakang pendidikan SMA/MA memilih program studi Pendidikan Kesejahteraan Keluarga Fakultas Pariwisata dan Perhotelan Universitas Negeri Padang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa dengan latar belakang pendidikan SMA/MA memilih program studi Pendidikan Kesejahteraan Keluarga Fakultas Pariwisata dan Perhotelan Universitas Negeri Padang berjumlah 154 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik Proposional Random Sampling berjumlah 61 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner (angket) dengan mengunakan skala Likert yang telah teruji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Selanjutnya data dianalisis melalui analisis deskriptif dengan metode pengkategorian penilaian berdasarkan rerata skor dan persentase penilaian. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa motivasi mahasiswa dengan latar belakang pendidikan SMA/MA memilih Program Studi Pendidikan Kesejahteraan keluarga secara keseluruhan termasuk dalam kategori tinggi. Dengan faktor indikator ekstrinsik lebih tinggi dibandingkan faktor intrinsik dengan sub indikator tertinggi yaitu faktor keluarga lalu lingkungan sosial, kebutuhan, sarana dan prasarana, tujuan, dan yang terakhir adalah keinginan.

Abstract

Most activities are done outside the home often make the skin exposed to UV light. Exposure UV light excessively or in a long time can cause the occurrence of skin disorders such as Sunburn, premature aging, lowering skin immunity to skin cancer. In preventing the negative effects of UV light on the skin, various ways can be done such as by using a protector such as clothes, hats, glasses or umbrellas. But this physical protection is not sufficient because of the UV light penetrating power. Sunscreen is a skin care cosmetic that provides physical protection against UV light. Proper use of sunscreen and routine can protect the skin from the negative effects of UV light. This paper describes the effects of UV light on the skin, the function of sunscreen and the right use and compatible types sunscreen in maintaining skin health from the adverse effects of UV light.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan karena adanya tamu yang merasa tidak puas dengan fasilitas kamar yang ada di Basko Hotel Padang. Penelitian dilakukan untuk mengetahui adanya Pengaruh Fasilitas Kamar Terhadap Kepuasan Tamu di Basko Hotel Padang. Penelitian ini berjenis deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode assosiatif kasual dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh Fasilitas Kamar Terhadap Kepuasan Tamu di Basko Hotel Padang. Populasi di Basko Hotel Padang berjumlah 4829 orang (per bulan). Terdapat sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 100 orang menggunakan teknik pengambilan purposive sampling. Teknik pengambilan data dilakukan dengan cara menyebarkan kuesioner (angket) menggunakan skala likert yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Teknik analisis yang digunakan yaitu uji regresi linear serdehana dan uji koefesien determinasi yang dilakukan melalui Program Komputer SPSS versi 16.00. Setelah melakukan penelitian maka didapatkan hasilnya sebagai berikut: (1) Fasilitas Kamar termasuk kategori yang kurang baik (49%), (2) Kepuasan Tamu termasuk pada kategori kurang baik (56%), (3) Didapat hasil koefisien sebesar 0,765 dengan nilai t hitung 7,678 pada sig. 0,00 < 0,05. Jadi setiap peningkatan sebesar 1 satuan variabel fasilitas kamar dapat meningkatkan 0,765 satuan kepuasan tamu. Pengaruh variabel fasilitas kamar terhadap variabel kepuasan tamu yaitu sebesar 37,6%, sisanya 61,3% dipengaruhi oleh faktor yang lain..

Penelitian ini berjenis asosiatif kausal. Sampel yang digunakan non probability sampling yaitu sebanyak 35 orang karyawan yang berada pada departemen room division, melaluii kuesioner_dengan skala likeert yang validitasdan reliabilitasnya telah diuji. Hasil dari penelitian ini sebagai berikut: (1) Produktivitas kerja karyawan room division departemen di Hotel Axana Padang diperoleh rata-rata skor sebesar 85,7% dikategorikan sangat baik. (2) Komunikasi Interpersonal room division departemen di Hotel Axana Padang diperoleh rata-rata skor sebesar 82,9% dikategorikan sangat baik. (3) Hasil penelitian_ini_menunjukkan_bahwa tidak adanya pengaruh yang_signifikan_antara_variiabel X_dan_Y dengan nilai koefisien regresi. sebesar 0,265 dengan nilai sig. 0,064 < 0,05.Kata Kunci : produktivitas kerja karyawan, komunikasi interpersonalABSTRAKBased on this study to determine the effect of interpersonal communication on the work productivity of room division department employees the.Axana.Hotel_Padang. This_type of research_is causal associative._The sample used is non-probability sampling, which is as many as 35 employees who are in the room division department, through a questionnaire with a Likert scale whose validity and reliability have been tested. The.result obtained.from.this.studyare asfollows: (1) Work productivity of room division department employees at the Axana Padang Hotel obtained an average score of 85.7% categorized as very good. (2) Interpersonal room division department communication at the Axana Padang Hotel obtained an average score of 82.9% categorized as very good. Abstract

This research is motivated by the learning process. Quantitative research methods with correlational research types.The population is 58 students,technique uses total sampling. Quantitative analysis techniques. The results showed the level of use of instructional media by class X students of hairstyling at Padang State Vocational High School amounted to 75.81% good category which was viewed from visual media indicators as much as 73.95% good category and audio visual media by 75.81% good category. The level of student motivation is 78.74% in the good category which is viewed from the indicators of desire and desire of success of 79.23% in the good category, the encouragement and learning needs of 78.16% in the good category, the hopes and aspirations of the future amount to 78.10% good category, the award in learning amounted to 77.70% in the good category, the presence of interesting desires in learning by 50.23% in the fairly good category and the existence of a conducive learning environment of 82.41% in the very good category. The results of the analysis and hypothesis testing have a significant effect with a low level of influence of 6.9%.

Abstract

Creativity is an important role in the education of Fashion Education because only creative individuals can produce creative ideas and products. The Fashion Education has to perform its function for the formation of character, work culture, personality, skill, knowledge, behavior and various life skill according to the demands of work world. Fashion Education is still not maximized in developing the creativity of students, especially the ability to think creatively in solving the problems of daily life that it faces. For that required the creativity of educators to foster student creativity. Student creativity will emerge, if the teacher as a pilot in the classroom also has adequate creativity. The subject matter that has been prepared in the syllabus, should be well developed to achieve the predetermined educational objectives. The development of creativity can be done with brainstorming learning, giving motivation, bringing creative people to school and not limit the student excessively by directing students to express and actualize themselves in relation to oneself, to nature, and to others.
