Abstract

Technological and internet development in Indonesia, with 229.42 million users in 2025, presents a significant opportunity for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to market their products online. However, the low adoption rate of information systems by MSMEs, particularly concerning effective User Interface/User Experience (UI/UX), can directly impact business success and customer interest in making purchases. The main problem addressed in this study is identifying the most effective UI/UX characteristics for supporting the efficiency of online selling media for MSMEs. This research aims to identify the most crucial UI/UX characteristics that strongly influence and can be used as a reference for developing more efficient MSME online sales media, using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. The SLR method, following Kitchenham's stages, was employed to analyze 30 articles published between 2021 and 2025, which focused on UI/UX for MSME online selling media, used Design Thinking or UCD approaches, and included System Usability Scale (SUS) evaluation. The analysis of the top-performing articles (based on SUS scores) revealed five dominant UI/UX characteristics: simple and intuitive navigation, visual interface consistency, cross-device responsiveness, high accessibility, and interactivity and personalization. While UCD tends to yield the highest usability scores (up to SUS 94) due to its focus on real user needs, Design Thinking is also consistent in producing "Good–Very Good" SUS scores and is valuable for innovation. These findings provide practical recommendations for developers to improve the efficiency and success of MSME online sales platforms.

Abstract

The selection of Multi-Purpose Vehicles (MPVs) at dealerships in Padang City involves complex and often conflicting criteria, where subjective recommendations risk leading to inaccurate decisions. This study aims to develop an objective decision support system to recommend the best MPV tailored to local needs by applying a Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) method based on the MOORA algorithm. Its primary contribution is a triple-perspective criteria model that integrates product technical aspects, local consumer preferences in Padang, and dealership business interests. Seven MPV alternatives were analyzed based on nine expert-weighted criteria. The optimization results identify the Honda BR-V as the top-ranking MPV, followed by the Mitsubishi X-Pander and Toyota Veloz. Validation using Spearman's Rank Correlation yielded a coefficient of ρ = 0.8036, confirming strong consistency with actual market performance. Thus, the MOORA method proves effective in generating accurate, objective recommendations for optimal MPV selection in Padang City.

Abstract

Attendance is quantitative data that reflects the level of employee discipline and has the potential to be used as a basis for performance evaluation. However, in many agencies, attendance data has not been optimally utilized in making decisions related to employee management. This study aims to classify employee performance based on attendance data using the K-Means Clustering algorithm with the Elbow Method approach. The data analyzed consisted of 57 employees with attributes of the number of tardiness, absence, and blank absences. The research process starts from data collection, pre-processing, to clustering process. Determination of the optimal number of clusters is done with the Elbow Method using Python, which shows the best K value is four. Clustering was done using RapidMiner software, by applying a visual-based workflow to group employees based on similarity in attendance patterns. The final results show the formation of four clusters with different Key Performance Index (KPI) characteristics: excellent, good, fair, and poor. These clusters reflect the level of employee discipline that can be used as a basis for objective managerial evaluation and decision-making. This research shows that the application of data mining-based clustering methods can be a tool in analyzing employee performance in an organizational environment.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of digital display usage for inpatient room availability on patient convenience at Arifin Achmad Regional General Hospital, Riau Province. The research employed an analytic survey with a cross-sectional design using a Likert-scale questionnaire administered to 95 inpatients. Classical assumption tests indicated that the residuals were normally distributed and the regression model was appropriate. Multiple linear regression revealed that patient knowledge had a positive and significant effect on patient convenience (p<0.001), while hospital policy and data validity showed no significant effect. Simultaneously, the model was significant (F=94.206; p<0.001) with R²=0.756. These findings highlight that patient convenience is mainly influenced by patients’ knowledge of the digital display system. Hospitals need to strengthen patient education, improve internal policies, and enhance data accuracy to optimize the benefits of the system.

Abstract

The submission of SNI product testing and calibration is a crucial process to ensure the quality and compliance of products and measuring instruments with applicable standards. However, the submission process at BSPJI Pekanbaru is still conducted manually, leading to several issues such as delayed services, data entry errors, and lack of transparency in information. This study aims to design and develop a web-based information system to facilitate the online submission of SNI product testing and calibration. The system development method used is the Waterfall model, which includes the stages of requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and literature review. The developed system includes features such as online submission, status tracking, test scheduling notifications, and result verification. The findings show that this system improves the efficiency of submission processes, reduces manual workload, and enhances real-time access to information for customers. This digital solution is expected to improve the quality of public services at BSPJI Pekanbaru.

Abstract

Nutritional problems in children under five remain a major challenge in Indonesia's health development as they can affect growth, cognitive abilities, and future productivity. The Indonesian Nutritional Status Survey (SSGI) serves as an important data source to understand the nutritional condition of children under five. This study aims to classify the nutritional status of children under five using the Random Forest algorithm with a Knowledge Discovery in Database (KDD) approach. The research stages include data cleaning, preprocessing, feature selection, modeling, and model performance evaluation. The data were obtained from Puskesmas Gang Sehat.The results indicate that Random Forest can classify the nutritional status of children under five with high accuracy for the majority class (Normal Nutrition), while performance for the minority class (Abnormal Nutrition) can still be improved. This demonstrates that the Random Forest algorithm is effective for classifying nutritional status, although optimizing data imbalance and adding supporting variables can enhance results for the minority class. This study is expected to contribute to the development of technology-based solutions for addressing nutritional issues in children under five.

Abstract

Traditional methods for classifying children with mental retardation based on fixed IQ score thresholds are often inadequate in capturing the diversity of intellectual abilities. This study proposes the use of data mining techniques, specifically the K-Means clustering algorithm, to group Intelligence Quotient (IQ) data derived from psychological assessments. The research methodology consists of data collection, data preprocessing, selection of the optimal number of clusters, and implementation of the K-Means algorithm. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed approach can successfully cluster IQ data into multiple groups representing distinct levels of intellectual functioning. The resulting clusters can be utilized as a decision-support mechanism to assist educators and practitioners in selecting appropriate instructional methods and intervention strategies in the field of special education.
