Abstract

Student learning is expected to obtain and find the value of quality science that is delivered by the teacher, therefore the teacher in presenting the lesson needs to be directed to the fulfillment of the needs and expectations of the students by using various sources of information. But to create an atmosphere of learning like that is not an easy matter. Other components are needed to support the learning process so that it is easy and enjoyable. In this case the researcher is interested to conduct research on the difference of Student Learning Results Using Learning Talking Model Stick with Learning Model Talking Chips on Subject Ips Students Class V Gugus III Situbondo Sub-District Situbondo District Lesson Year 2017/2018. This research was carried out in Cluster III Class V as many as 55 students consisting of 30 grade V students (SD Negeri 5 Dawuhan) using the Talking Stik learning model and 25 fifth grade students (SD Negeri 3 Dawuhan) using the Talking Chips learning model. This type of research is quantitative research and the research method is quasi-experimental. The data obtained were collected using test methods, observation, interviews, and documentation. While the data analysis used is Normality Test, Homogeneity Test and Hypothesis Test. Based on the results of statistical tests data have been obtained that is Thitung> T table with Thitung = 5,043 and T table = 1.674 at significance level α (0,05) this shows that application of learning model Talking Stik was more effective and significant compared with using model of learning Talking Chips although using the same Basic Competency and Competency Standards as learning resources and media

Abstract

Penelitian ini berkaitan dengan pengembangan professional team teaching dalam praktikum IPA menggunakan pembelajaran berbasis proyek (PBL). Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode wawancara dan analisis kualitatif. Pada hasil penelitian, professional guru dibentuk oleh pengalaman dalam dua hal: memimpin PBL dan keterlibatan dalam kerja sama dalam team teaching. Perkembangan guru berasal dari kelompok yang berfokus pada diri sendiri yang menunjukkan pertumbuhan profesional, pemberdayaan, dan peningkatan substansial dalam kepercayaan diri

Abstract

Reading comprehension is a process of digging or understand the information of the reading where the reader read material by capturing the basic thoughts sharper and deep, so you feel there is a certain satisfaction after the reading material was read to completion. This study aimed to describe about reading comprehension in grade V in SD Islam Al-Abror. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research approach with samples of the study were all students of class V, amounting to 22 students. The procedure of collecting data in this study using four methods namely observation, interview, documentation and Reading Comprehension Test. Analysis of the data used is interactive analysis using Data Reduction, Data Presentation, Withdrawal and Withdrawal Conclusion. Based on the research that has been conducted, the results showed that the students of class V SD Islam Al-Abror been able to understand the contents of the texts have been read, but every student in the class V SD Islam Al-Abror certainly different levels of understanding. Of the 22 students, 14 or 64% is students with reading comprehension level infransial, then 4 or 18% of students in reading comprehension level literal as well as four other people or 18% of the students with reading comprehension level of critical or critical. On the literal level of understanding of all students in grade V SD Islam Al-Abror able to answer all the test and interview well, so we can say the entire fifth grade students of SD Islam Al-Abror is a student with a literal reading comprehension level is good. Then, at the level of reading comprehension infransial almost all students were able to answer all the test well, but 4 students can not answer properly, so that four students are located at the literal level of understanding only. At a critical understanding there are only four people who can answer questions well, while others have not been able to answer well to be in the level of understanding infransial

Abstract

The honorary teacher is integral part of an effort to educate the generation of the nation. The existence of honorary teacher cannot be separated from the national movement “Mental Revolution” triggered by the Indonesian government. It certainly puts the teachers’ role in a significant position as the educator. In line with that, the aim of national education is to educate life of the nation, but the obedience of the world of Indonesian education is due to social, economic and political problems, it makes distorted the educational goal further. Education in Indonesia leaves the same problems year after year. One of the crucial is welfare of teachers which is related to meager salaries, career training and quality of human resource. Abstract

This study aims to determine values of character education attached in the tales of Si Kancil and Si Rusa, in addition this research to discuss students ability in understanding the characters by reading activities for students of third grade MINU Islamiyah Asembagus. During learning process of reading, reseacher engaged descriptive qualitative method. Data was collected based on classroom observation and interview. Research results indicate that values upon the takes of Si Kancil and SI Rusa are genuine, humble, and mutual help. While the message of Si Kancil and Si Rusa is do not lie to the others, since it harm, which the message of Si Rusa and Kulomang is good cooperation will work in overcoming many obstacles. Character values of both tales frequently appear are being honest, humble, and giving each other support. Therefore, those characters are much suitable to be educated since early age. By reading activities performed in third grade students MINU Islamiya Asemabagus obtained a conclusion that during tale reading activities, teacher plays role as facilitator to assist students in grasping character values which can be implemented in daily life

Abstract

Bahasa Inggris adalah melihat sebagai salah satu bahasa internasional yang sangat umum digunakan oleh orang-orang dari daerah yang berbeda dan negara untuk berkomunikasi satu sama lain. Namun demikian, kemampuan untuk menggunakan bahasa ini harus dikembangkan selama usia sekolah pemuda. Siswa sering terjebak dengan cara yang sangat kuno pembelajaran. Mereka bosan bahkan ketika mereka tidak belajar itu. Itu membuat siswa menemukan bahwa bahasa Inggris lebih sulit daripada sebenarnya. Kosakata merupakan salah satu komponen bahasa yang harus diajarkan kepada siswa dalam belajar bahasa asing. Untuk meningkatkan siswa penguasaan kosakata, guru dapat menggunakan banyak media. Dengan menggunakan video yang kartun sebagai media, siswa dapat belajar dengan mudah dan menarik. Penelitian ini dikategorikan sebagai penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Penelitian ini diterapkan dengan model siklus. Penelitian yang diusulkan video ini kartun sebagai strategi dalam bahasa Inggris mengajar pada siswa kelas tujuh SMPN 1 Situbondo untuk memecahkan inkompetensi siswa pada penguasaan kosakata. Sebagai hasil dari studi pendahuluan menunjukkan bahwa masalah mahasiswa terhadap penguasaan kosakata mereka dapat dikelompokkan menjadi dua masalah: (1) merasa bosan, (2) kurangnya kosa kata. Oleh karena itu, kriteria keberhasilan diarahkan ke masalah yang disebutkan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada efek yang baik dari mengajar kosakata menggunakan video yang cartton untuk meningkatkan siswa penguasaan kosakata
