Abstract

Pemahaman yang baik terhadap perkembangan bahasa pada anak mendukung strategi intervensi yang efektif dalam mengatasi kesulitan berbahasa pada anak. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengkaji perkembangan aspek fonologi yang meliputi fonem vokal, konsonan, dan diftong pada subjek GSA yang berusia dua tahun. Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data yang didapatkan berasal dari kanal akun youtube yang berupa rekaman video seperti vlog. Teknik pengumpulan data yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini adalah dokumentasi, simak, dan catat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa subjek GSA sudah mampu melafalkan fonem vokal, konsonan, dan diftong dengan baik. Namun, masih terdapat beberapa fonem vokal, konsonan, dan diftong yang belum dilafalkan dengan tepat, misalnya vokal /i/ dan /a/; konsonan bilabial /p/, /m/, konsonan apicodental /t/, konsonan apikoalveolar /l/, /n/, /r/, /s/, konsonan laminopalatal /c/, /ñ/, konsonan dorsovelar /g/, dan semivokal /w/. Strategi yang digunakan oleh subjek untuk mengatasi kesulitan pelafalan kata dan fonem meliputi kontraksi kata, pelesapan fonem, dan substitusi fonem.

Abstract

This study examined the authentic dimensions of multimodality of cultural context in educational pragmatics and its significance in understanding culture. The aim is to describe the cultural context using multimodality elements with data sources in the form of TikTok content containing cultural aspects. This research used descriptive qualitative methods with reading and note-taking techniques. The theories were related to authentic dimensions, multimodality, and cultural context. The results showed that culture's values, rules, and social systems can be explained effectively through a multimodality approach that includes visual, gestural, aural, and linguistic aspects. The cultural value system in the tradition of the Suling Dewa dance in Bayang Village shows belief values conveyed through various modalities. The rules and social systems in the tradition of Kerik Gigi of the Mentawai tribe and the use of silk sarong in the Bugis community show that cultural rules and social status are explained and understood through multimodality, helping to transmit cultural knowledge effectively from generation to generation. In conclusion, understanding culture through multimodality is essential in this era of globalization to remain relevant and effective in learning. It can enhance mutual respect for cultural differences and intercultural communication in educational and social environments.

Abstract

Eksistensi bahasa Indonesia di kancah dunia perlu didukung dengan meningkatkan martabat bahasa Indonesia. Pemartabatan bahasa Indonesia dapat dilakukan melalui internalisasi dan internasionalisasi bahasa Indonesia melalui Perguruan Tinggi Keagamaan Islam Negeri (PTKIN) se-Jawa Madura. This State Islamic Religious College has succeeded in organizing the BIPA program as an effort to dignify the Indonesian language. Through the BIPA program, students are equipped with a good and correct understanding and use of Indonesian language. This research aims to describe the dignity of the Indonesian language and the implementation of BIPA learning in PTKIN throughout Java and Madura. The method used in this research is qualitative with a case study design. The data source for this research is the implementation of the BIPA program at PTKINs throughout Java and Madura which have the Indonesian Tadris study program. The data obtained was then analyzed using interactive data analysis. The results of the research show that the BIPA program has been implemented by all PTKIN throughout Madura Java and is presented in specialization courses in the Indonesian Language Tadris Study Program. Through the BIPA program, foreign students studying at PTKIN are trained their Indonesian language skills in the matriculation program before entering college.

Abstract

Women experience domestic violence, workplace harassment and sexual violence in various parts of the world. The current global situation is encouraging violence against women to increase. The issue of violence against women has attracted the attention of various organizations, including Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs). In the novel Perempuan yang Menangis kepada Bulan Hitam, there is an NGO called Gema Perempuan which helps many women victims of violence resolve their cases. This research will discuss the role of Gema Perempuan in the novel. This research is qualitative. The data collection technique in this research is a library technique. The data analysis technique in this research uses content analysis techniques. From the study, it was found that the various roles of protecting victims by Gema Perempuan in the novel include: 1) providing moral support to the victims to keep them enthusiastic, 2) giving advice to the victims about what they should do to get out of a detrimental situation, 3) Assistance to victims by providing temporary shelter, and 4) providing training to various parties who support the protection of women. The role of Gema Perempuan as seen in the novel can represent a role that is not much different from women's protection NGOs in the real world. This shows that women's protection NGOs play an important role in their social function, namely protecting women

Abstract

Changes in the new curriculum policy turned out to raise various readiness problems among teachers, teachers are trained to implement the Merdeka Belajar Curriculum in their respective schools. For this reason, this research aims to conduct a literature review of the problems of teachers' readiness in implementing the new curriculum or the Merdeka Belajar Curriculum and find solutions. The method chosen in this research is SLR (Systematic Literature Review) method. In this research, 15 articles relevant to the Merdeka Belajar Curriculum and the problems faced by teachers in implementing it for the period 2022-2023 are reviewed with a focus on problems, teacher readiness and new curriculum implementation. The articles used in this study were obtained from Sinta Journal, and Publish or Perish.The results of this study show that firstly, most teachers faced challenges in understanding the concepts and teaching strategies promoted by the new curriculum. This indicates the need for increased training and debriefing of teachers to enable them to play their role as learning facilitators in the spirit of this curriculum. Second, limited facilities and infrastructure, both in terms of funds and teaching materials, are a serious obstacle to the implementation of this curriculum. Therefore, there is a need for further support from the government and related parties to ensure the availability of adequate infrastructure.

Abstract

This research is a cognitive linguistic study of conceptual metaphors of books in Indonesian society. The aim is to get a better understanding of the use of conceptual metaphors of books in Indonesian society, so that the conceptualization of books can be identified. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The data collection method used is the listening method with reading and recording techniques. Data were obtained through posts and tweets in the #HariBukuNasional and Literary Base accounts on Twitter and Instagram. The data were analyzed using the conceptual metaphor theory proposed by Lakoff & Johnson. The results show that Indonesians use a variety of conceptual metaphors to conceptualize books, such as books are love; books are family; books are friends; books are travel; books are solutions; books are windows of the world; books are nutrition; books are home; books are the ocean of science; and books are sources of happiness. These findings reflect the significance of books in various aspects of Indonesian life and indicate that books have positive connotations in the perceptions of Indonesians

Abstract

Novel anak Na Willa memiliki perbedaan signifikan dalam pembangunan narasi dibandingkan dengan cerita anak pada umumnya. Perbedaan tersebut terlihat dalam pendekatan terhadap penyampaian nasihat, ajaran, dan moral. Dalam Na Willa narasi tersebut masih tetap ada, tetapi bukan sebagai tujuan cerita. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan suara naratif dan mengungkap fungsinya dalam novel Na Willa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan teori naratologi Gerard Genette Hasil penelitian mengidentifikasi tiga kategori suara naratif dalam novel ini, meliputi 1) waktu penceritaan dengan teknik subsequent, prior, simultaneous, dan interpolated, 2) teknik narator menggunakan narator homodiegetik dan autodiegetik, serta 3) tingkat naratif pada ekstradiegetik-homodiegetik. Temuan ini menyimpulkan bahwa fungsi suara naratif dalam novel tidak hanya sebagai alat untuk menyampaikan cerita, tetapi juga berfungsi untuk membangun kedekatan emosional dengan pembaca. Pendekatan menggunakan sudut pandang atau perspektif anak-anak sebagai narator dan tokoh utama memungkinkan pembaca anak untuk merasa lebih terhubung dan menikmati cerita dengan lebih bebas dan kreatif.

Abstract

This research was conducted to map students' preferences for reading fantasy story books or listening to fantasy stories on podcasts. This research aims to determine junior high school students' preferences for reading material, whether they choose to read fantasy stories through storybooks or listen to fantasy stories on podcasts. The data sources for this research are questionnaires and interviews, while the data collection techniques are distributing questionnaires via Google Form and interviews with students. Data analysis uses reduction techniques, presenting data and conclusions. The research subjects consisted of three schools, namely 15 students from SMP Tamansiswa Batu, 10 students from MTs Hasyim Asyari Batu and 10 students from SMPN 25 Malang. The results of this research are (1) This preference shows that podcast media can be used more effectively when learning, especially in fantasy stories, and (2) between female and male students, most of them both like podcast media for learning because students can easier to understand than reading a book.

Abstract

The novel Women at Point Zero by Nawal El Saadawi discusses gender language which is linked to Robin Lakoff's theory regarding language and gender. Discussions related to language and gender are interesting to research because there are still many patriarchal cultures and gender injustices that exist in certain areas, as is the case in this novel about Women At Point Zero. The aim of this research is to find out what gender language is contained in the novel as knowledge for readers and also for future learning. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method. The techniques used are documentary and thematic analysis techniques. Of the several gender languages contained in the novel, the word "prostitute" is used very often because the content of the novel is about gender injustice experienced by women or the main character, namely Firdaus.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the forms of natural disasters, efforts to overcome natural disasters, and the impact of the migitation efforts contained in the novel Anak-Anak Pangaro using literary ecocritical studies. This research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive research method with a content analysis research design. The data sources used are excerpts of dialogue and narration contined in the novel Anak-Anak Pangaro by Nun Urnoto El-Banbary. The data collection technique used is the cultural document observation technique. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique used includes four stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, data verification, and conclusion drawing. Results of this study are; (1) The form of natural disasters contained in the novel Anak-Anak Pangaro in the form of water drought and abrasion; (2) Natural disaster management efforts contained in the novel Anak-Anak Pangaro in te form of reforestation, clean water contribution, and nasuha repentance; (3) The impact of disaster management efforts of the changes in the religious system of the Giliraja people and the increasing attitude of caring for nature in the Giliraja people.
