Abstract

The Artificial Intelligence(AI) Pet Robot is a combination of various fields of computer science. This paper showcases the various functionalities of our AI Pet. Most of the functionalities showcased use the immage processing modules made available through OpenCV. The pet robot has various features such as emotion recognition, follow routine, mini-game etc. This paper discusses the mini-game aspect  of the robot. The game has been developed by using VGG16 convolutional network for identification of the action performed by the user. To improve the accuracy we have made use of background subtraction which gives removes all the unwanted objects from the background and gives a simple cutout of the users hand.

Abstract

In the Calculus, a definite integral can be used to calculate the area between curves and coordinate axes at certain intervals; surface area and volume formed if an area is rotated against the coordinate axis. Problems arise if you want to calculate the area of the area bounded by a curve and a line that does not form an angle of 0 or 90 degree to the coordinate axis, as well as the calculation of the volume of objects and the surface area of a revolution axis of rotation is a slanted line. By using existing definitions, a formula is developed for this purpose.

Abstract

Many people like traveling. But, often they are difficult to find a tourism site that they like much. Too many information about tourism is the problem. To overcome this problem, we need to filter the information. Recommender System could filter the information. By considering the advantages, the system used item-based collaborative filtering approach to give recommendation. Some tourism site around Yogyakarta province were used in this research. The system is able to give recommendation to users. The accuracy of the rating prediction is 0,6293 and the average time consumption is 1693,33 millisecond.

Abstract

Nutrition is very much needed in the growth of toddlers. It is very important to give babies a balanced nutritional intake at the right stage so that the baby grows healthy and is accustomed to a healthy lifestyle in the future. Children under five years of age are a group that is vulnerable to health and nutrition problems. In determining the nutritional status, it can be done in a system manner using the C4.5 decision tree classification method and entering several variables or attributes. The dataset tested was 853 toddlers. Classification is carried out to determine the nutritional status based on the weight/age (BB/U), height/age (TB/U) and weight/height (BB/TB) categories. The attributes used for the classification of BB/U are gender, weight and age. The attributes used for TB/U are gender, body length or height, and age. The attributes used for BB/TB are gender, weight, body length or height, and age. The average accuracy of the BB/U category is 90.16%, the average accuracy of the TB/U category is 76.64%, and the average accuracy of the BB/TB category is 83.83%.

Abstract

Pagar Alam Coffee is a Besemah coffee originating from the Smallholder Plantation in South Sumatra, Indonesia. The majority of Pagar Alam coffee farming is a hereditary business. Coffee farmers' income is very dependent on coffee production, production costs, and coffee prices. This study aims to obtain a probability model of Pagar Alam coffee farmers income based on the factors that influence it. The independent variables studied were the number of dependents, economic conditions, number of trees, age of trees, frequency of fertilizer used, frequency of pesticide used, production at harvest time, production outside harvest time, number of women workers outside the family, minimum price of coffee, maximum price of coffee, farmers' gross income, and land productivity. Modeling used binary logistic regression method on 179 respondents. There were three methods used, i.e. enter method, forward and backward methods. The model using enter method results the greatest prediction accuracy which is 87.7%. The factors that have a significant influence on the net income of Pagar Alam coffee farmers are gross income, land productivity, and the number of women workers from outside the family. The most influential variable is gross income.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the presence of a fan in the wood drying room in the drying time of wood. In addition, it is also to determine the performance of the steam compression cycle engine used in wood drying machines and the conditions of air entering and leaving the wood drying room. Wood drying machines work on a source of electrical energy. The research was conducted experimentally. Variations in the study were carried out on the presence of fans in the drying room: (a) there were no fans and (b) there were 2 fans. The dried object is a sengon wood board, which has a length of 2 m, a width of 20 cm, and a thickness of 2 cm. The number of wooden planks is 70 wooden planks of uniform size. The wooden planks before drying have a moisture content of 29.6%, and when dry, have a moisture content of 10%. The research gave the following results: (a) if there are 2 fans in the drying room, the time needed to dry the sengon wood planks is around 42.6 hours, whereas if there is no fan around 49.9 hours (b) the average Coefficient of Performance (COP) of the steam compression cycle engine is 10.65 (c) The air condition enters the drying room when there are 2 fans, has a dry ball air temperature of 40oC with a relative humidity of 32% RH and the air condition when it comes out, has a dry ball air temperature of 28oC with a relative humidity of 73% RH.

Abstract

A set of data pattern that have the characteristic of a function can be approached using Newton series simulation. When using the Newton series, the simulation result of the summation of extrapolation data can be gradually done in step by step. However, if using the IN series, the simulation result of the summation of extrapolation data doesnt need to be gradually done in step by step. The methodology in this research compares the data pattern from the simulation results of the high degree function with the results of interpolation and extrapolation from the results of the IN series simulation. Futhermore, will be carried out comparison simulation analysis of the summation of the function values gradually with the extrapolation function directly using the IN series. The result of comparison simulation analysis point out that the value of the total summation of data between the gradual and the direct summation is the same, so that the direct sum technique using the IN Series is able to make the total sum process more efficient.

Abstract

Inverse problems deal with recovering the causes for a desired or given effect. Their presence across sciences and their theoretical study can be traced to a classic example. Moreover, their ill-posedness motivates computational methods to solve them, and we give a very humble introduction to them. In relation we discuss their active research trends!

Abstract

Studies of frequency distributions of natural language elements have identified some distributions that offer a good fit. Using electronic documents, we show that some of these distributions cannot be used to model the frequency of bytes in electronic documents even if these documents represent natural language documents.

Abstract

The Artificial Intelligence (AI) Pet Robot is a culmination of multiple fields of computer science. This paper showcases the capabilities of our robot. Most of the functionalities stem from image processing made available through OpenCV. The functions of the robot discussed in this paper are face tracking, emotion recognition and a colour-based follow routine. Face tracking allows the robot to keep the face of the user constantly in the frame to allow capturing of facial data. Using this data, emotion recognition achieved an accuracy of 66% on the FER-2013 dataset. The colour-based follow routine enables the robot to follow the user as they walk based on the presence of a specific colour.
