Abstract

The change of temperature or working climate could affect one’s working performance, who accidently or purposely be in designated environment. Overheat or over cold could decrease someone’s performance. Hence, a technology on automatic monitoring and temperature or climate controlling should be developed, by employing LabView software with microcontroller Arduino type UNO controlling system, temperature sensor LM-35 and DHT-11. This research, in terms of room temperature monitoring and controlling, will follow several stages: 1. Requirement identification, 2. Analysis of neccesities, Program Design (Software), 4. Tool Engineering (Hardware), 5. Control Programming (Arduino Software), 6. Prototype, 7. Testing. The results of applied methods, could ease the automatic temperature’s monitoring and controlling as required. Therefore, can be concluded that the objective of this research is to increase someone’s effectivity in performing his activities under standard temperature based on the principles of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH). It could be implemented also as learning media especially at the Department of Electrical Engineering.

Abstract

Prolonged drought impacts very significant for some areas of Indonesia causes the limited availability of surface water. Increasing need for clean water is not commensurate with the available surface water supply. Cemara village, Suboh District of Situbondo is one example of a water crisis in the dry season. Only rely on spring water from the mountains to meet the water needs of citizens. To improve the supply source of clean water, some alternative activities had been done, one of which is to identify subsurface aquifer layer with resistivity geoelectric method utilizing Schlumberger configuration. The research activities include measurements and observations in the field, data processing, and data interpretation. The results of processing and interpretation of the data concluded that the rock layers in the study site is in the form of soil or rock composed of volcanic tuff, breccia, sandstone, and sand as aquifer layers. At each point geoelectric identified aquifer layer that is able to store and distribute groundwater well at different depths. As a recommendation to carry out drilling , geoelectric point 2 has more potential aquifer layers . Aquifer layer was detected at a depth of 60 meters and 135 meters .

Abstract

Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan aplikasi SIONLAP, untuk mendukung perangkat Internet Of Things monitoring temperatur dan kelembaban udara ruang laboratorium, yang terintergrasi dengan sistem pengelolaan Online data pengelola, alat, bahan, inventarisasi, SOP, jadwal pengunaan laboratorium, kritik dan/atau saran pengguna, e-learning, data penelitian skripsi dan/atau tugas akhir, sistem peminjaman alat bahan, usulan  pengadaan alat bahan berbasis pengembangan modul praktikum, dan pengembangan laboratorium.  Pengembangan SIONLAP V2 menggunakan model waterfall, desain usercase hak akses pengguna mengacu pada struktur organisasi Jurusan Teknik Elektro Fakultas Teknik Universitas Negeri Malang, tupoksi sivitas akademika, pengelola laboratorium dan PerMenpan & RB  Nomor 7 tahun 2019. Pengujian dengan menggunakan teknik black-box tipe Boundary Value Analysis (BVA). Dari hasil uji coba monitoring temperatur dan kelembaban ruang Laboratorium Sistem Kendali menggunakan aplikasi SIONLAP V2, menunjukkan hasil temperatur ruang rata-rata  , kelembaban ruang minimal 64%  dan maksimal 74%. Data tersebut menunjukkan kualitas udara kelembaban ruang Laboratorium Sistem Kendali kurang baik, untuk itu perlu di pasang peralatan dehumidifier untuk mengontrol kondisi temperatur dan kelembaban ruangan,serta memperbaiki ventilasi udara ruang laboratorium.

Abstract

Intensive Care Units (ICUs) is an installation that held health care in the patient's clinical circumstances requiring immediate medical action to saving lives and preventing further disability, complications and mortality. 24 hours services, highly demanding tasks to support urgent therapeutic intervention, highly possibility complications, poor patients outcomes make high workload of nurses in ICUs. The objective of the study is to measure ICU nurses workload and analysis based in nurses characteristics in RS X. NASA-TLX method used to measure the workload. Based on research, the level of nurses workload in RS X are have high and very high workload. The dimension ranking of the workload from the highest to the lowest is the Temporal Demand (62), Frustration (63), Mental Demands (65), Physical Demands (69.667), Effort (76.67) and Performance (80.667).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan LKPD biologi berbasis masalah pada materi pencemaran lingkungan, yang layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran biologi di SMA N 4 Magelang dan mengetahui efektifitas LKPD yang dikembangkan terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan reflektif. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian pengembangan yang diadaptasi dari model Borg & Gall melalui tujuh tahapan, yaitu (1) penelitian pendahuluan,  (2) perencanaan, (3) mengembangkan produk awal, (4) melakukan uji coba kelompok kecil, (5) melakukan revisi terhadap produk utama, (6) melakukan uji coba lapangan, dan (7) revisi produk berdasarkan uji coba lapangan. Subjek uji coba pada penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas X SMA Negeri 4 Magelang. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket, lembar observasi, dan tes Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa LKPD biologi berbasis masalah yang dikembangan ditinjau dari aspek kelayakan isi, penyajian, kebahasaan, dan kegrafikan yang di validasi oleh teman sejawat, ahli, dan guru biologi menunjukkan bahwa secara keseluruhan dikategorikan baik dan LKPD biologi berbasis masalah yang dikembangkan berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan reflektif peserta didik hal ini ditunjukkan dengan adanya perbedaan hasil kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan reflektif yang diperoleh antara kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen.

Abstract

Research on the manufacture of biodegradable plastic from kepok banana weevil with glycerol plasticers from used cooking oil and chitosan composites from the waste of snail shells (Achatina Fullica) was carried out. Bioplastics characteristic test results with variations in chitosan and glycerol variations have also been carried out. Based on the results of tensile strength test for the variation of chitosan and glycerol with the greatest tensile strength of 3,7321 MPa, bioplastics A2 with the composition of kepok 5 g banana starch; chitosan 0,2 g and glycerol 5 mL. The elongation test results for the most variation of chitosan and glycerol were 9,4243% are A1 bioplastics with the composition of kepok 5 g banana starch; chitosan 0,2 g and glycerol 2,5 mL. Increasing the composition of chitosan causes% swelling to decrease, while the greater the volume of glycerol added, the greater the swelling%. WVTR value will decrease with increasing composition of chitosan and glycerol. The increasing concentration of chitosan, the bioplastics will be more difficult to degenerate, while the higher the concentration of glycerol, the bioplastics sample will be easier and faster to be demoted. FTIR results indicate that synthesized bioplastics have a wavelength value similar to the constituent raw material 3425,58 (-OH); 2931,8 (-CH); 1635,64 (-NH).

Abstract

This study examines the relationship type of monitor with eyestrain computer users in the computer lab of the Faculty of Science and Technology UIN Sunan Kalijaga. The study involved 192 respondents who use computers in the computer lab. Measurement of eyestrain performed by questionnaire to the respondent. The results showed that there has been eyestrain experienced by 160 respondents (83.3 %) . Pain in the neck, back and shoulders (13.7 %) is a sign of eyestrain often occur. Using chi square statistical test showed relationship between the type of monitor to eyestrain computer users (p-value = 0.043) . CRT monitor has a refresh rate that is smaller than the LCD monitor. The flicker on a CRT display make the eyes become tired quickly.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan eksperimen konseptual dengan Algodoo pada fenomena tumbukan benda 1 dimensi. Hasil eksperimen konseptual menunjukkan hasil yang sama baik dengan hasil secara analitik. Dengan demikian eksperimen konseptual dengan Algodoo secara sangat baik mampu menjadi jembatan penghubung antara dunia/fenomena fisis dengan formalisme dunia Newtonian.

Abstract

Water is a necessity that important for human life, because water is needed for a variety of activities such as drinking, agriculture, industry and fisheries. Safe drinking water to health if it meets the requirements of physical, microbiological, chemical and radioactive. One chemical parameter requirements that must be met include ferrous metal content of at most 0.3 mg / l; In this study will focus on the content of iron (Fe) contained in the water or a solution by using the polarization of light. Integrated Laboratory UIN Sunan Kalijaga has polarized light intensity measuring equipment using a He-Ne laser beam. From the results of research samples with different concentrations showed maximum values of photo sensor readout element in polarization angle of -30 ° to -25 °. And maximum value of sensor readings in polarization angle of 45 ° - 80 °.

Abstract

Laboratory as a center of learning and research activities for both students and lecturers to produce innovations and scientific works that can provide benefits for the development of science, technology, and meeting the needs of the community. Recording and administration using manual records in Microsoft Excel and manual books that are considered ineffective, information about laboratories and administrative services has not been conveyed in general, both students, lecturers and communities outside the campus become a problem that must be resolved in order to improve laboratory services. This study uses the research and development (R & D) method. The development model used is the waterfall software development model. The results of this study are an application of a web-based physics laboratory information system (SILABFIS) that can be accessed online. SILABFIS has a home menu that contains news, information about the laboratory, information on laboratory managers, information on laboratory equipment and materials, laboratory room usage schedules, and modules, standart operational procedure and admin menus that contain administrative and reporting services. The alpha testing test results show that all functions run successfully, meaning that the information system created can already be used.
