Abstract

Nowadays, shopping malls growth are extremely high in Jakarta area. One of the shopping malls that has existed for a long time and still thrives in Jakarta is Mal Kelapa Gading (MKG). The objective of this research is to examine the impact of experiential marketing and service quality toward MKG’s customer loyalty with customer satisfaction and trust as mediation variables. The data was collected by distributing 233 questionnaires to the residents around the area of the mall. As this research model has passed 11 goodness of fit test indicators, this model has been proven consistent to the empirical data. There are 6 hypotheses in this research, 4 of which are proven true. The results of this research indicate that there is a positive impact in experiential marketing and service quality toward customer loyalty with customer satisfaction and trust as mediation variables. On the one hand, customer satisfaction has become the best mediating variable to strengthen the impact of experiential marketing and service quality toward customer loyalty. On the other hand, experiential marketing and service quality do not affect trust. Trust is useful as a mediating variable if there is an influence from customer satisfaction. Abstract

Income inequality is a problem related to income earned by people in an area between groups. The problem of inequality is very important to be studied, because it can affect the regional economy. This research was conducted with the aim of finding the factors that influence income inequality. This research is a descriptive study with a quantitative approach. The data in this study were 5 (five) provinces in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. The year period used is 2013-2019. This research method use Panel Data Regression. The results of this study indicate that the variables of economic growth and population do not have a positive and significant effect on income inequality. While the variable number of workers has a negative and significant effect on income inequality, besides that the hidden unemployment rate also has a positive and significant effect on income inequality. This research has implications for the theory of income inequality and the policies taken to deal with inequality by paying attention to the number of workers and the hidden unemployment rate in the Special Region of Yogyakarta for the period 2013-2019.

Abstract

This study is to determine and analyze the influence of motivation, compensation and job satisfaction on the job performance of weaving crafts. The hypotheses proposed in this study are: (1) motivation (X1), compensation (X2, and job satisfaction (X3) influence job performance (Y) of traditional weaver (ATBM). There were 50 respondents or weaving crafts. Hypothesis test was used with the F-test and t-test. The result of this research showed that motivation, compensation, and job satisfaction have a partial and simultaneous effect on job performance. Keywords: Motivation, Compensation, Job Satisfaction, Job Performance.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the influence of brand ambassadors and Korean wave on purchasing decisions for Neo Coffee Products. The population in this research are all the people who have bought Neo Coffee product in Riau Province. Samples in this research were taken by using purposive sampling method that consist of 100 respondents. This research used multiple linear regression as data analysis technique. The result showed that brand ambassador did not have significant effect on purchasing decisions partially (t=1.176, p=0.243), Korean wave have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions partially (t=8.265, p=0.000), and  simultaneously, brand ambassador and Korean wave have a positive and significant effect on the decision to purchase Neo Coffee products (F=75.841, p=0.000, R2=0.61)

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that affect the willingness to pay taxes on taxpayers of individuals who perform free work in the office of KPP Pratama Pekalongan. The variables in this study are taxpayer willingness as dependent variable knowledge of taxation regulation, understanding of tax regulation, good perception on tax system and level of trust to government system and law as independent variable. The population in this study were free workers registered in KPP pratama stem. The sample used in this research is as many as 63 respondents are free workers registered in KPP pratama stem. Meanwhile, to answer the hypothesis in this research is done classical assumption test and multiple linear regression. The result of the research shows that variable knowledge of tax regulations, understanding of tax regulations, a good perception of the effectiveness of the taxation system has a significant effect on willingness to pay taxes but for the level of trust in the government and the legal system has no significant effect on willingness to pay taxes. Keywords: knowledge of tax regulations, understanding of tax laws, good perceptions of the effectiveness of the tax system and the degree of confidence in government and legal systems.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of tax auditor competence, communication skills, and time pressure on the quality of tax audit outcome. The research method used is quantitative by collecting data using a survey method by distributing questionnaires to 130 tax auditors at the Tax Service Office at the Regional Office of the Directorate General of Taxes, East Java I. The analytical tools used in this research is multiple linear regression and data analysis in this study uses the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) version 25th.The results showed that tax auditors' competence and communication skills partially had a positive effect on the quality of tax audit outcome, while time pressure had no effect on the quality of tax audit outcome. Simultaneously, the tax auditor's competence, communication skills, and time pressure have an effect on the quality of the tax auditor outcome.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of independence, due professional care, work experience, motivation, gender, competence, audit fees, audit tenure, workload, and implementation of ISA standards on audit quality produced by the Public Accountant Office located in Provision D.I Yogyakarta. The sampling technique used was accidental sampling. The research sample obtained amounted to 55 respondents. Data collection method is done through a questionnaire using data analysis in the form of Multiple Regression Analysis on the SPSS v 23 for windows application, as well as documentation. The results of this study indicate that auditor independence has a significant positive effect on audit quality, Due Professional Care has a positive but not significant effect on audit quality, work experience has a significant positive effect on audit quality, motivation has a positive but not significant effect on audit quality, Gender has negatif and no significant effect on audit quality, Competence has significant positive effect on audit quality, Audit fee has positive but not significant effect on audit quality, Audit tenure has negative but not significant effect on audit quality, Workload has significant negative effect on audit quality, Implementation of ISA standard has significant positive effect on audit quality . Abstract

Poverty is a problem that is still an issue in almost all countries in the world, including countries that are members of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). Based on data published by the World Bank, there are 7 OIC member countries that publish their national poverty data (during the study period), due to data limitations in this study using 7 OIC member countries as samples, these countries include: Indonesia, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan and Mali. The results of this study based on panel data regression testing using the Random Effect Model (REM) show that economic globalization is proxied by trade openness data and Foreign Direct Investments (FDI) has a significant positive effect on poverty in 7 OIC member countries, while the Human Development Index (HDI) ) has a significant negative effect on poverty. The population size variable does not have a significant effect on poverty in 7 OIC countries, this is in accordance with the probability of the t test which is above 5% alpha, which is 0.3563. Based on the interpretation of the data in this study, in order to overcome poverty, the most important thing is the development of human resources. With developed human resources, poverty in various countries, especially in OIC member countries, will be resolved.

Abstract

Increasing the competitiveness of SMEs can be done in the aspect of marketing based on social media, because this marketing medium is most familiar to SME entrepreneurs. Pekalongan with around 22 thousand number of UKM players and scattered in trade centers. SME entrepreneurs must have marketing competitiveness so that SMEs can survive in the future. This research is a qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. Methods of data collection use observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. The analysis technique in this study uses the stage of data reduction, data presentation and then drawing conclusions. The result of the research shows that SMEs in the marketing aspect have started to switch to social media-based marketing. The marketing media chosen include facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp. SME entrepreneurs need to be given training in creating interesting and innovative product promotional content and videos to optimize the use of social media-based marketing so as to increase the competitiveness of SMEs.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of the Growth of Self Assessment System, Tax audit  and Tax billing to Value Added Tax Revenue (VAT) on a partial and simultaneously. The research uses quantitative methods. Research data are 36 companies in 2014-2016. The analysis is multiple linear regression and the classical assumption test with the help of SPSS version 23 application. Partial research results show that the Growth of Self Assessment System has an effect on Value Added Tax Revenue. While the tax audit and tax billinghave no significant effect on the Value Added Tax (VAT). But simultaneously or together Growth Self Assessment System, Tax audit and Tax Billing have an influence on Value Added Tax (VAT) Revenue.Keywords: Growth of Self Assessment System, Tax Audit, Tax billing, and Value Added Tax (VAT).
