Abstract

Stunting merupakan kondisi dimana anak mengalami gangguan pertumbuhan hingga tinggi badan anak lebih pendek dari standar usianya. Hal ini menjadi ancaman utama terhadap kualitas manusia Indonesia, juga ancaman terhadap kemampuan daya saing bangsa. Penanganan stunting merupakan prioritas pembangunan nasional melalui Rencana Aksi Nasional Gizi dan Ketahanan Pangan. Hal tersebut melatar belakangi kami untuk perlu mengadakan sebuah program penyuluhan pencegahan dan penanggulangan stunting khususnya di kalangan remaja yaitu pada siswa-siswi MTsN 5 Magetan, Desa Turi, Kecamatan Panekan, Kabupaten Magetan. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman serta peran remaja dalam program pencegahan dan deteksi dini stunting yang diharapkan secara langsung memotivasi masyarakat supaya lebih di prioritaskan. Metode yang dilakukan adalah dengan menilai pengetahuan siswa-siswi MTsN 5 Magetan, yang diukur dengan memberikan pre test sebelum kegiatan penyuluhan dan post test setelah diberikan penyuluhan. Berdasarkan hasil pre test dan post test yang diikuti oleh 44 responden dapat dinyatakan bahwa hasil pre test tentang tingkat pengetahuan responden mengenai pencegahan dan penanggulangan stunting mendapatkan nilai rata-rata 95,5 sedangkan hasil post test tentang tingkat pengetahuan responden mengenai pencegahan dan penanggulangan stunting mendapatkan nilai rata-rata 96. Dari sini diketahui bahwa pengetahuan dan pemahaman siswa siswi mengenai stunting sudah mengalami peningkatan

Abstract

A mangrove ecosystem has a vital role in aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems. The goal of the activity is to protect the coastal area of Pasir Puncu due to intrusion, abrasion, tsunami wave, and salty wind, and to sequestrate and restore carbon stock in the mangrove ecosystem. The method of this activity was to plant with mangrove species seedling tied the bamboo stick. With a plant spacing of 1 x 1 m2; the number of mangrove species was 308 seedlings which has 6 months, and has 2-4 leaves. This planting program was carried out by Mangrove Instiper Club students. The result of this programme are planting R. mucronata, Avicennia marina, and Sonneratia alba of 300, 5, 3 seedlings respectively; Seedlings that have been planted are tied using bamboo stick with a length of 1 m using raffia rope. Selecting the mangrove species and site are the significant factors for survival mangrove seedling in the planting site. Keywords : Abrasion, carbon stock, mangrove, tsunami.

Abstract

The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic is not only in the health aspect but also has major implications for the political, economic, socio-cultural, educational, religious, and community welfare aspects. The time for the end of the Covid-19 pandemic is still unknown. Although there is already a vaccine, there is no specific therapy or drug for Covid-19. Not to mention the problems faced such as the threat of SARS-COV-2 mutation with new variants, as well as public attitudes to health protocol discipline are still the main challenges, which at times can cause a new wave of national or global Covid-19 pandemics. This activity aims to reduce public anxiety through counseling to increase knowledge, motivation and change people's behavior in implementing health protocols related to Covid-19. Community service activities related to Covid-19 education and Covid-19 vaccination. The method used in the implementation of science and technology activities to the community is disseminated in the form of two-way lectures and discussions, as well as the distribution of leaflets. In the final interview and observation, it showed changes and improvements, namely 85% of participants knew and understood that Covid-19 could be prevented by complying with and implementing the 5M health protocol; 50% of participants took the initiative to register at the Puskesmas/Clinic which facilitates vaccination services to the wider community in order to obtain the first dose of vaccination; and 10% of participants have started to register at the Fatukbot Headman office and the South Atambua Health Center for Covid-19 vaccination

Abstract

Covid-19 has been declared a world pandemic by WHO and has been designated by the Government as a non-natural disaster in the form of a disease outbreak that requires integrated countermeasures including the involvement of all components of society. The purpose of this community service activity is to find out the efforts made to prevent the spread of Covid -19 in RT. 004 RW 029 Padukuhan Jomblang, Sendangadi Village, Mlati district, Sleman Regency, DI Yogyakarta. The implementation of this Community Service activity is packaged using cooperative learning methods including lectures, discussions and practice. Efforts to prevent the spread of Covid -19 include: 1) Applying how to prevent the spread of Covid-19 in daily life; 2) Avoid direct contact with other people, and try not to leave the house except in critical times; 3) covid-19 is a virus that damages the respiratory system and can cause several complications from infection to death; and 4) Don't feel too stressed and burdened during this pandemic, because what is needed is a strong immune system or body metabolism and can increase immunity by exercising and eating healthy foods.
