Al Mishbah Jurnal Ilmu Dakwah dan Komunikasi is an academic peer-reviewed journal that publishes the latest issues in the field of dawah and communication, including areas of dawah discourse, such as Islamic counseling and the development of Islamic societies. Since 2012, the journal has been published regularly twice in one year June and December. Abstract

The unification of the flow of information in the arena of the celebration of Sayyid Idrus bin Salim Aljufrie's death day is on the agenda every year so that informal consolidation occurs for Abnaul Khairaat. Sharing stories about the old Guru's sacredness gave birth to a close relationship (cohesiveness) among the Alkhairaat masses. The sacred story of the Old Teacher became a discussion among haul participants because everyone who lived with him had a different experience with others who were also Old Master's students. The experience of each follower of the Old Teacher, met in the haul arena. That is called convergence. Sharing fantasy themes in the Old Teacher's Haul became a venue for silaturrahim narratives, which strengthened the Alkhairaat organization. The love for old teachers is implemented in the form of love for Alkhairaat community organizations.

Abstract

Muhammadiyah (born 1920) and Nahdlatul Ulama (NU, born 1920) is a missionary organization that dissolves as reconciler Indonesian culture. The second organization is an accumulation of da'wah trip, which lasted from seventh century. Muhammadiyah chose Maliki's teaching (mazhab) and NU chose Shafi'i teachings as a corridor for mass worship. Acculturation propaganda in understanding the situation and condition of Indonesia, which encourages the flourishing of Islamic broadcasting now re-piqued because of the influx of transnational Islamic ideology. Foreign Islamic movements like the Muslim Brotherhood, Salafi, Hizb ut-Tahrir, Jama'ah Tabliq, Syi'i, and others, made amotion Indonesia as da'wah activities movement. The lears of mazhab who have different views with other mazhab leaders, however never blame the other view. Khilafiyah problems (differences of opinion) in religious life for a few priests in the schools is a scientific things to grow up the dynamics of science. Praxis differences caused bloodshed, not a religious event, but it is a human tragedy that use religious arguments to justify its actions.

Abstract

Alqurān is not only a holy book for Muslims but also a guide in living a life to gain the happiness of the world and the hereafter. Alqurān not only contains teachings, knowledge and information, but also the reading and practice of the Qurān can be a way or approach to preach both to ourselves and others. The closer to the Qurān someone is, the more peace and happiness they will get. And that is the ultimate goal of da'wah.

Abstract

The current social situation shows social problems and deviant behavior. In such condition, Allah gives rules, which contain His commands and prohibitions, and asks people to do according to Allah’s rules, and to avoid from what He forbids. From this condition, Islamic preach (da’wah) is needed, which promotes Islamic shari’ah covering all aspects of life. Therefore, Islamic da’wah demands a myriad of approaches, methods, media, message, actors and partners of da’wah. From this, cultural da’wah model emerged, by which those who were not categorised as a preacher are excited to preach through non-verbal language, such as giving a good example, wisdom, community empowerment, and so forth. This kind of da’wah is proved to be quite effective and successful.

Abstract

Comics are one of the media that can be used to convey religious messages. Islamic comic series, Dunia Sementara Tertawalah Seperlunya, is a compilation comic that packs religious messages, especially messages about morals. The message is packed with light language and humor. This study aims to find out and explain the moral values ​​contained in the World Islamic comic series Dunia Sementara Tertawalah Seperlunya. This study uses a qualitative approach with a type of qualitative content analysis research. Data analysis using semiotics Charles Sanders Peirce model that focuses on the triangle of meaning to analyze the contents of the research subject. Data collection using documentation. The results of the research in this comic contain five moral values, namely morals towards Allah, Morality to the Messenger of Allah., Personal morals, morality in the family, and morality in society. (1) Moral values ​​towards Allah shown cautiously; (2) Moral values ​​towards the Prophet. shown by loving, glorifying, and following and obeying the Prophet. which is realized by relying on the hadith in choosing a mate; (3) Personal moral values ​​are indicated by courage (syajā’áh) and forgiveness; (4) Moral values ​​in the family are shown by the attitude of sharing love and love, getting along with each other well between wife and husband, and education - direction for children; and (5) Inner moral values ​​are shown by helping each other (ta’āwun), visiting and receiving guests well, and answering greetings.

Abstract

As we all know that the Quran is received by the Prophet Muhammad over a period of 23 years. It was received when the Prophet was in Mecca (we call Makkiyah) and after he left Mecca (we call it Madaniyah). At the time the Quran was revealed in Makkah, which is at the beginning of receiving the relation (to be prophet), the Muslims were still in a minority and the idol worshippers were majority. Making a dialogue with unbelievers, Muhammad must use the appropriate language style and special method. The caracteristics of Makkiyah and Madaniyah language styles and themes are different. It is one of the best methods in preaching to the path of Allah appropriate with the unbeliever's mental, mind, rhought and feeling. In every stage of preaching, Muhammad (p.u.b.h.) had varied themes and models appropriate with their belief and environtmental condition. They all are revealed in how the Quran invited all people to return to Islam.

Abstract

Islamic preaching in society is regarded as an effort to change society into a better condition. This is carried out by positioning human beings as both subject and object of preaching. Therefore, both approach and method are necessary to be paid attention to them. Preaching should be carried out using persuasive methods based on wisdom and polite communication. Preaching with persuasive approach is one of the preaching models that strengthen Islam in society, in the context of building a happy family. One of the religious movement that makes that effort is Jama’ah Tabligh in Palu.

Abstract

Tolotang community communication activities include communicative situations, communicative events and communicative acts. Communicative situation or the context of the occurrence of communication is an atmosphere that describes the events or communication processes in a series of religious ritual activities of the Tolotang community, among others: Bulu Lowa, Amparita Market and Perrinyameng. Communicative events are events that illustrate the belief system in the religious rituals of the Tolotang community including: Mappaenre Inanre, Inanrē, Sipulung, Tudang sipulung, Iēnrēkeng. The Tolotang community also believes in the revelation system as a communicative act

Abstract

The process of effective communication depends on the principles of credibility (trust), attractiveness, and power. Then the content (meaningful message to receiver), clarity (clarity of message), continuity (repetition), channels (channels of communication) and the capability of the audience. These principles can also be applied in the educational process of learning communication. In the whole process of education, teaching and learning activities are the most basic activities. Here, it means that the success or failure of educational goals depends on how teaching and learning processes are undertaken by the students and teachers. The effective learners can be measured from indicators such as personality, attitude, experience and ability to reach the goal. This opinion illustrates that educators can successfully carry out their duties if they have a good personality, intelligence, and ability to communicate.

Abstract

Communication media is a media that has mastered the global world. Various forms of media designed to facilitate communication including social media such as twitter, facebook, mailing lists and other. In the context of da'wah communication, social media is very possible for the use of propaganda. Interact through social media to do da'wah or sosialization Islamic teachings and even the integration of social media in communication becomes very important mission for the ease of public access to information about Islam, to motivate people to learn more in-depth and form image of Islam or to counter-information the insult and understimate Islam.
