Abstract

This paper discusses fuzzy labeling graph and its properties. The properties discussed are fuzzy labeling subgraph, union graph, and fuzzy magic graph. The results showed that the strength of connectedness for pair of vertices in a graph with fuzzy labeling is always greater than or equal to the strength of connectedness for pair of vertices in its subgraph. In addition, union of two graph with fuzzy labeling will form a graph with fuzzy labeling. Meanwhile, on magic labeling there is always a fuzzy bridge on fuzzy magic graph.

Abstract

Behrens-Fisher problem has a lot of test, two of them are Cohran-Cox test and Welch test. This study will examine the stability of both tests by comparing thesignificance levels of both tests to a specific (given) significance level. The result shows that the Welch test is more stable than the Cochran-Cox test which means that theoretically Welch test is better than Cochran-Cox test.

Abstract

Every living creature has unique genetic materials. These genetic materials are stored in a DNA molecule. In some cases, it is founda change in a normal DNA molecule into an abnormal one. Recombining DNA molecule is one way to solve this problem. In mathematical view, splicing system is a mathematical model of a system of a restriction enzyme’s action in recombining DNA molecule. Splicing language is a language constructed by splicing system.Result obtained from double-chained DNA molecule recombination process using uniform splicing system and uniform splicing language is a various language, which is depend on: (1) how we determine which DNA molecule that contains donor’s and recipient’s gen and (2) how we choose involved restriction enzyme. Apart from that, DNA molecule recombination can only be done on DNA molecule which has a DNA molecule’s partition a restriction enzyme could identify.

Abstract

This paper discussed about the predator-prey model with two predators. This model is a development of the model given by Korobeinikov and Wake (1999). Dynamic behavior of the model can be determined based on the stability of the equilibrium point. The stability of the equilibrium point of predator-prey model with two predators on the general ecosystem shows that there is no coexistence state (grown in tandem) on both predators and for a long time one of the predators will lead to the local extinction even though there is no competition between the two predators. Furthermore, this model is applied to the brown plant hopper predator, mirid prey and tomcat prey. The result shows that the population of brown planthopper and both of the predators will oscillate towards a particular value with a shorter span of time. In the long term, the number of brown planthopper and mirid will be heading to the equilibrium point, while the tomcat will lead to local extinction.

Abstract

Simplified Data Encryption Standard (S-DES) is a cryptographic algorithm whose data-disguise process is simple and fast enough compared to other algorithms. Because of its simplicity, the S-DES algorithm is vulnerable to statistical attacks when applied to imagery, so this study tries to minimize S-DES weaknesses in image data by modifying S-DES keys with Diffie-Hellman. Diffie-Hellman is one of the key generating algorithms and key exchange. This research uses image data that is RGB image and grayscale image. A modified S-DES key with Diffie-Hellman is then used to encrypt the image. This study also analyzed the security level of S-DES algorithm that the key has been modified with Diffie-Hellman.

Abstract

This paper discusses about Fuzzy Inference System (FIS) using Mamdani method to recommend the choice of major field for students of Mathematics department Unsoed. The method of Mamdani consist of a fuzzification, an application of the implication functions, composition of rules, and defuzzification. The input of fuzzification is score of some compulsary subjects for each field. The application of implication function used min implication, while the composition rule is based on PAP in Mathematic department Unsoed. The defuzzification required score of some compulsary subjects for each field as input and the recommend score of each major field as output. Based on the output, a student of Mathematic department Unsoed is able to choose a major field according to his/her score.

Abstract

Nowadays, there are many brands of notebook with various specifications and prices are available in markets. This condition makes consumers face difficulties in determining the appropriate option according to their needs and budget. Correspondingly, development of computer has also increased, for instance the use of computer in giving the best decision about a certain issue, in this case it is a matter of choosing a notebook. Therefore, it is important to develop a decision support system in order to choose notebooks by using Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process (FAHP) so that consumers can determine the fittest notebook in accordance with the consumer’s wishes and budget.

Abstract

. The research studied power and size of normal distribution and its applications on linear regression model. The power and size formulas are derived, and the unrestricted test (UT), restrcited test (RT) and pre-test test (PTT) are used. The recommendation of the test is given by choosing maximum power and minimum size, and also graphical analysis. The result showed that the power and size for large standard deviation () tend to be identical and flat. In simulation study, the graphs of the UT, RT, and PTT are still similar to the previous research (Pratikno, 2012), where the PTT tend to lie between UT and RT.

Abstract

Bilevel multiobjective programming problems are mathematical programming that solves the problem of planning with two decision makers (DM) in two level or hierarchical organization with the objective function of each organization can be more than one. In this paper, we discussed the special case of this problem with single decision maker at the upper level and multiple decision makers at the lower level. This problem can be solved using fuzzy goal programming (FGP) approach. In this approach, the membership function for the defined fuzzy goals of all objective functions of DMs at the two levels was developed first in the model formulation of the problem. Thus the membership function for vector of fuzzy goals of the decision variables controlled by the leader. Then FGP approach requires the leader to set goals for each objective that he/she wishes to attain. A preferred solution is then defined for minimizes the deviations from the set of goals. Numerical example is provided to illustrate the approach.
