Abstract

Procurement usually held in a conventional manner which brings direct stakeholders such as committee and bidders. Procurement of goods/services can be done electronically. Electronic procurement is the procurement of goods/services carried out using information technology and electronic transactions in accordance with statutory provisions. In this research will be made a decision support system to facilitate committee in process of determining the winner of procurement by using Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) methods. SAW methods is more favored because of its effectiveness in executing the completion time. There are some criteria which become to base decision, among others, administrative, technical, price, and qualification. Meanwhile, the alternative to used form companies which register as a participant (in this research there are 3 companies and partnerships). The final result in this research is PT. A as first ranks (the winner) with preference value 13,7778. PT. B in order to two (first backup) with preference value 10,7317, and PT.C in order to three (second backup) with preference value 9,7843.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the addition of chromium in the SMAW process to the tensile strength, hardness value and macro structure of the low carbon steel welding joint using E6013 electrodes. The research procedure begins with the process of welding, making seam, making specimens: tensile test, hardness test and macro structure. Furthermore, the process of tensile, hardness and macro structure testing is carried out. The tensile strength value of the weld joint with the addition of chrome tends to be slightly smaller than that of the weld without the addition of chrome. The maximum tensile stress and elasticity limits for welded joints with added chrome are higher than for welded joints without added chrome. The addition of chrome to the welding process has been shown to increase hardness. In the macro structure, porosity did not occur both specimens with the addition of chromium and without the addition of chromium.

Abstract

This research is backed by customer loyalty to the point of sales service tends to decline due to the difficult marketing part of managing customer data manually in accepting and responding to questions related to Web application features and help with how to use them, as more and more customers become difficult to control and track in each issue. The subject in this study is the customer service Manager. Data source is selected using special criteria with the condition of user who experienced directly the event that became the focus of research, able to retell the events that have been experienced, and willing to be a research user who get the conclusion that it needs a system to manage customer data, conduct promotional activities and see the growth of customers online. The data collection techniques in this study use observation methods and library studies. From the results of the research that has been implemented to implement the results of the research into the loyalty program information system in the software product sales service at the point of sales of PT. XYZ in the form of a website to manage customer data by the marketing and Android applications section for customers.

Abstract

The PT. XYZ is engaged in freight forwarding which has its own aircraft fleet, this company still has problems with uncoordinated shipments resulting in the goods not being sent according to the specified time. In 2017, PT. XYZ received many complaints from customers using these services so that the company had to pay losses due to late delivery that occurred. Some customers even choose to use cargo shipping services from other companies. Six Sigma is a process improvement strategy, for example to eliminate waste, reduce costs and improve the effectiveness of all operational activities so that they can meet customer needs and expectations. The purpose of this research is that the goods produced can reach the predetermined quality standards, so that the cost of inspection can be as possible. The results of the study show that the factor that often affects is human factors.

Abstract

Condensing type geothermal turbine is a mechanical device that used to convert thermal energy into mechanical energy, then after converted to electrical energy in the generator by the rotation of the rotor’s magnetic field. Development of blade material for geothermal turbine application which using local content is crucial due to the blade’s turbine are 100% imported. So, efforts to produce blade material with high local content are very strategic to support national energy independence in the future. The Agency for the Assessment and Application of Technology (BPPT) started from 2020 until 2023 will focus on the development of the blade material for geothermal turbine application. As a starting point of the research, modelling and virtual testing of the stage-1 blade turbine were performed. In this study, the model is done in CATIAV5 software. Solid model is then imported to ANSYS workbench 15.0. Thermal-Structural analysis of turbine blade using the Stainless steel-based alloy with the ANSYS workbench 15.0 was carried out. In the thermal analysis, the model is given temperature, convective heat flux transfer coefficient and atmosphere gas temperature and then is solved for the heat flux distribution over the blade surface. The obtained heat flux distribution is taken as the thermal load into the Static structural analysis. In the static structural, the obtained model is given structural load, namely centrifugal force. The model is then conducted virtual testing in order to obtain stresses and deflections. The results showed that the model of stage one blade turbine is safe when operating at the determined loads.

Abstract

Many people use rotten / unfit fruit to make liquid compost with fruit aroma to fertilize their plants, processing fruit that is not suitable for use which will be reprocessed to reduce fruit waste in anticipation of health problems, especially when rotten fruit is thrown away Careless places will cause problems for public health however, their tools are not efficient for processing the fruit because the cutting process is still using a kitchen knife so that the production of fruit which is made into liquid compost is slow in production, so a liquid compost machine from fruit waste is needed to speed up production making compost and making more production and processing faster. The purpose of this study was to design a manufacturing process based on the design drawings of a liquid compost machine from fruit waste. The method used is Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA). The output of this method is a Standard Operational Procedure (SOP) document and an Operation Process Chart (OCP). Based on the calculation results of the liquid compost machine manufacturing process design, the net estimate of manufacturing process time is 392 minutes with a total of 66 activities consisting of operation, assembly and inspection activities.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the capacity needs of the SRP in Hamadi Central Market, Jayapura City. The data required in the form of primary data and secondary data, quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysis approaches to analyze the characteristics of vehicle parking against the needs of SRP in Hamadi Central Market, Jayapura City. The results of the analysis of the parking volume for 92 vehicles and 164 motorcycles, the accumulated parking for 326 vehicles and 301 motorcycles, the parking duration for cars and motorbikes ranged from 1-2 hours, the parking capacity for cars was 39 vehicles / hour and for motorbikes 19 vehicles / hour, 88.3% cars and 90.4% motorbikes, 0.83 car parking turnover rates for cars / parking lots and motorbikes 1.42 motorbikes / parking lots, parking availability 267 vehicles / 9 hours and 119 motorbikes / 9 hours. The result of combining the analysis method, the need for a 46 SRP car and an 88 SRP motorbike means that it exceeds the available SRP. To answer this, an arrangement of the SRP for the car was carried out, so that the SRP for the car was sufficient because the planned SRP was 61 SRP. Meanwhile, to answer the needs of motorbike SRP, which is to move the parking lot into the market / building area, so that the SRP for motorbikes is sufficient because the SRP planned is 108 SRP. The parallel parking pattern is recommended for SRP cars and motorbikes with an angle of 90º.

Abstract

In the current technological development, the electric motor is the most popular in various industrial applications. Electric motors today have evolved very quickly and have a significant impact on the lives of the wider community. The use of environmentally friendly and efficient energy is one of the reasons why this motorbike has become a pioneer of technological advances, especially in the automotive world. This research focuses on conducting a comprehensive analytical study on one type of electric motor, namely synchronous because it is widely applied in various conditions today. The analysis was carried out using a computational method by applying the finite element as a method of solving the magnetic field case involving Maxwell's equations and its impact on the torque generated in this synchronous motor. From the computation results, it is found that this synchronous motor does have a high torque when the magnetic field flux works constantly at 0.015 Wb. With an average torque generated by this synchronous motor of 1.5 kW.
