Abstract

Base on various reports, stated that many teens already trapped in unhealthy reproductive behavior, including sexual behavior before marriage. Based on the survey results Indonesian Family Planning Association (IPPA) East Kalimantan in 2008. Of the 300 adolescents (aged 13-20 years) 12% of respondents claimed to have had sex. This study aims to determine the relationship Attitudes and Patterns of Communication With Parents with Premarital Sex Behavior in High School Students in Private Samarinda in 2010. This study is observational method "Cross Sectional Study". with a total sample of 102 students. Data were obtained from questionnaires answered. The analysis is the analysis of uni-variate and bi-variate with Chi Square Test. Uni- variate analysis of the data obtained from 102 respondents as much as 3% had sex should husband and wife, and 2% had had sex in the past month and 1% had had sex in a last month . Behavior different sexual risk among respondents as many as 17% of respondents which high risk behavior , and only 5% who do not have risky behaviors. Bi-variate analysis showed an association with the attitude of premarital sexual behavior p = 0.028 and no association with the communication patterns of premarital sexual behavior (p = 0061). This study is expected the cooperation between teachers and parents to provide education and knowledge about good reproductive health in order to fortify the attitude and behavior of Private High School Youth in Samarinda

Abstract

One of the environmental problems in urban areas is the pollution caused by garbage. The waste problem is caused by various factors such as population growth, living standards changes, lifestyles and behavior, as well as how the waste management system. This study aims to determine how the role of society to levy payments garbage in Samarinda. This research was descriptive; where the data is collected then compiled, described and analyzed used relative frequency analysis. The participation of the public to pay a "levy junk", which stated to pay 96.67%, for each month and the rates stated society cheap, moderate and fairly, respectively 46.08%, 21.21%, 21.04%. Base on the data , the role of the community to pay "levy junk" quite high.

Abstract

Ice is a water that cooled below 0 °C and used for complement in drink. Ice can be found almost everywhere, including in the Wahid Hasyim Sempaja Roadside. From the preliminary test, obtained 5 samples ice cube were contaminated by Escherichia coli. The purpose of this study was to determine relationship between hygiene and sanitation with presence of Eschericia coli in ice cube of home industry at Wahid Hasyim Roadside Samarinda. This research used quantitative with survey methode. The population in this study was all of the seller in 2nd Wahid Hasyim Roadside. Sample was taken by Krejcie and Morgan so the there were 44 samples and used Cluster Random Sampling. The instruments are questionnaries, observation and laboratory test. Data analysis was carried out univariate and bivariate (using Fisher test p= 0.05). The conclusion of this study there are a relation between chosing raw material (p=0,03) and saving raw material (p=0,03) with presence of Eschericia coli. There was no relation between processing raw material into ice cube with presence of Eschericia coli (p=0,15).Advice that can be given to ice cube should maintain hygiene and sanitation of the selection, processing and storage of ice cube.

Abstract

The air pollution in the garbage dump gave the bad effect for the environmental health , NH3, H2S and the other polluted gases were the causes of air pollution that could give the bad effect for health, especially respiratory disorders. The garbage dump of bukit pinang was located in samarinda and still used open dumping method that could cause environmental pollution. Research design used cross sectional approach. The sample of NH3 and H2S was taken at 3 points and there were 34 respondents that were chosen using purposive sampling. Data collection included in the measurement of NH3 and H2S, interview, and observation of respiratory disorders. Data analysis used t-independent test with 95% of confidence level.Result of the study showed that the concentration of NH3 and H2S at garbage dump of Bukit Pinang at sample points I, II, and III was still under quality standard. Result of T - Independent showed that there was relationship among concentration of NH3 (?-value= 0,005), concentration H2S (?-value=0,042), exposure period of NH3 and H2S (?-value=0,000), and Risk Quotient NH3 (?-value=0,000), H2S (?-value=0,000) with the respiratory disorders of the people around the garbage dump of  bukit pinang. Result of Mann-Whitney test showed that there was no relationship between exposure frequency of NH3 and H2S (?-value=0,284) with the respiratory disorders of the people around the garbage dump of bukit pinang

Abstract

Acute pesticide poisoning resulting from the use of pesticides that enter the body. Ponoragan village, is an agricultural area so that the majority of the population worked as farmers who have suffered acute poisoning risks resulting from the use of pesticides. Cholinesterase examination results by the District Health Office Kutai is obtained from 223 farmers who checked there are 100 farmers who suffered acute poisoning due to exposure to pesticides. Improper use of pesticides will cause acute poisoning among farmers. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship PPE use, work of service, and duration of exposure and acute poisoning pesticide on farmers in the Ponoragan. This type of research is analytic survey with cross sectional approach. Collecting data using by a questionnaire with a sample of 69 people. The results showed that there was no relationship between duration of exposure (p = 0.290) with acute pesticide poisoning. There was a relationship between of work of service (p = 0.025), the use of PPE (p = 0.052) and acute pesticide poisoning.

Abstract

As organizer of social health insurance, social security health agencies continue to work so that all health facilities in Indonesia to support the passage of the health insurance program optimally so that all participants BPJS health benefit services. The purpose of this study was to determine the benefits of health care received by patients in health centers health BPJS participants Lempake cities Samarinda 2015 consists of variable promotive, preventive care, and curative services.The research method used is descriptive quantitative survey approach. The total sample is 100 patients. Data analysis using frequency distribution. Resulth of analysis using frequency distribution of 100 respondents showed that patients benefit as much as 89 respondents promotive services, patients feel the benefits of preventive care as much as 66 respondents, and patients feel the benefits of curative services as much as 95 respondents.
