Abstract

Members of the Indonesian National Army (TNI) in Wijaya Kusuma Military Resort Command (Korem), Banyumas, Central Java, required public speaking skills. The Commanders of the Military District (Dandim) and Information for Korem & Kodim must improve their public speaking skills and develop a strategy for dealing with media inquiries about various events or providing public information. Public speaking training is provided as a form of community service in response to these needs and goals. The training is done in an interactive manner. The participants were given the opportunity to practice public speaking on the given topic. The facilitator then provided feedback to the participants on how to improve the effectiveness of their public speaking. Aside from that, they conducted questions and answers, as well as discussions, based on the problems they faced. The training resulted in a greater understanding of public speaking strategies among the participants. They also feel more prepared and confident when confronted by the media and society.

Abstract

Semakin meningkatnya jumlah penduduk merupakan tantangan bagi ketersediaan pangan. Upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk ketahanan dan kemandirian pangan masyarakat adalah melalui pemanfaatan lahan pekarangan. Ketersediaan lahan yang terbatas didaerah perkotaan  membuat perlu adanya upaya untuk memanfaatkan lahan terbatas menjadi lahan produktif. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengenalkan kepada masyarakat salah satu teknik bertanam sayuran dengan sistem vertical garden dalam upaya memperkuat ketahanan pangan masyarakat. Budidaya tanaman sayuran dapat dilakukan dipekarangan sempit yaitu dengan memanfaatkan dinding kosong yang ada dihalaman rumah dengan menggunakan terpal atau keranjang plastik serta pipa air untuk menyiram tanaman sayur tersebut. Peserta kegiatan ini adalah Ibu-Ibu dan Bapak-Bapak di Kel Marga Mulya RT 005 RW 001, Kota Bekasi. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini menggunakan metode ceramah dan praktek. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat memberi manfaat bagi peserta kegiatan. Target luaran dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah aspek kewirausahaan yaitu terjadi peningkatan kemampuan dan ketrampilan warga masyarakat, terutama dalam hal memanfaatkan lahan pekarangan  untuk menanam sayur-sayuran yang diperlukan keluarga, sehingga tercipta ketahanan pangan masyarakat.

Abstract

Kerupuk Mlarat is one of the traditional snacks of Cirebon, a regency in West Java province, Indonesia. This snack is mostly produced by the small medium enterprises (SMEs) through conventional, old-style procedures. That is why, although this snack has abundant potentials, the improvement is still minimum. Most SMEs employ human-powered tools, especially in the process of dough kneading and shaping. Besides the not yet optimum process, the food hygiene of also becomes an issue. In order to optimize the production and maintain product hygiene, a human empowerment program is conducted to provide on of the SMEs with the Kerupuk Mlarat dough kneading and shaping machine. The machine capacity is 20 kilograms and was proven effective to knead, shape, and cut the dough within an hour, a lot less duration compared to the conventional procedures. This machine is expected to efficiently improve the Kerupuk Mlarat SMEs productivity as well as hygiene.

Abstract

The lagoon conservation in Segara Anakan is developed to reduce tidal flooding, abrasion, water pollution and tsunami disaster. Vertical and horizontal akuaponik system aims to reduce impact of water permanent inundation in mangrove conservation area. The socialization of mangrove conservation aimed to teach and give information of mangrove conservation, rehabilitation model using vertical and horizontal aquaponic and the planning bioploc in mangrove area. This activity used the focus group discussion and demonstration plot. The results of this activity were socialization of  socio-economic factors to support mangrove and coastal management, Oceanographic factors of mangrove and coastal management, Mangrove rehabilitation using aquaponic vertical and horizontal systems, Improvement of water quality in catfish cultivation with biofloc system, the conservation of mangrove ecosystem, and analysis of main stakeholder to support lagoon conservation.

Abstract

The purpose of community service activities that will be carried out is to foster an entrepreneurial spirit and increase knowledge about the business model canvas, design thinking, business plan proposal, digital marketing, and marketplace. Community Service Activities will be held at the SMK Yayasan Pondok Pesantren Depok. The target participants are students of SMK Yayasan Pondok Pesantren Depok. The problem faced by the school is the lack of training activities in schools related to entrepreneurship. The solutions offered to partners are providing training to partners on building an entrepreneurial spirit, training on digital marketing and marketplace. The method used in this PKM activity is the method of socialization / counseling, discussion, simulation, and application. The results of community service activities that have been carried out are that students of the SMK Yayasan Pondok Pesantren Depok have knowledge and are able to business model canvas, design thinking, business plan proposal, digital marketing, and marketplace.

Abstract

This Community service program was initiated by Polytechnic Kutaraja and collaboration with PLUT UMKM Banda Aceh a as learning facility and program socialization in a product, packaging, and business permit. The best Business assistant not only explains the product but also explain business permits, packaging, and other more about way to make an effective micro business, it is much needed late because people are increasingly aware of a business permit as facility consumption security and the way they choose product base on look likes. Besides that, this program also explains packaging as easy marketing method and also informs about what the product contains to customers and how they chose the product because the product is attractive.Then this program added information about how to publish their permit number (NIB) as business identity and how easy to publish this NIB where on this program they trained and guided on publishing their business permit.Lastly hoping to this program will be continued and can schedule every year to help micro business to get information about the business permit, good products, and attractive packaging.

Abstract

In today's world, the ability to comprehend information technology is crucial, as it is used in nearly every aspect of daily life. The Ahmad Al-Badriah Foundation in Tangerang City takes care of orphans and poor kids who don't know how to use technology, especially computer applications. Together with the Ahmad Al-Badriah Foundation in Tangerang City, FTI proposed training in Microsoft Office. This Community Service Activities (CSA) aim to improve ICT skills or competencies for orphans and poor children so that they can learn, gain experience, and help training participants improve their skills in using information technology, which can help them do their schoolwork or jobs that use computer applications. In this CSA activity, the method starts with figuring out what the partner needs are, then doing MOUs, making modules, doing training activities, and getting feedback. The conclusion of this activity is that the Ahmad Al-Badriah Foundation in Tangerang has shown that training in Microsoft Office 2010 programs like Microsoft Word and Microsoft Power Point can help orphans and other children who don't have much improve their IT skills. This is clear from the fact that 55% of the people who took the training said they strongly agreed that it would improve their skills and 41% said they agreed

Abstract

Banjar Sawan is famous for its carving business. One of the carving businesses that can be said to be the pioneering business for carving business in Banjar Sawan is the Temaja carving business. This carving business is engaged in the Balinese stile carving business. This carving business is capable of making various types of carvings. The results of this carving business are sold directly to customers who come to Banjar Sawan. This carving business has been around for many years, which is a legacy from their ancestors in Banjar Sawan. The problems faced by partners include not having a wood sanding machine to speed up the production process, not having carried out promotions using social media such as Instagram or Facebook. In addition to increasing market access, the Temaga carving business needs to make improvements in the areas of production management and financial management, so that the pasek carving business can develop better. The resulting outputs are in the form of articles in national seminar proceedings, articles in print media, videos of activity implementation, increased production capacity and quality by 10%, business management skills both in the field of promotion and financial management and being able to make simple bookkeeping. Through meetings with the owners of the copper carving business, it was agreed that programs would be carried out to improve the quality of production and sales. These programs are carried out using training methods, mentoring, direct practice, monitoring and evaluation. The programs that have been agreed upon in the PKM will be carried out for two months.

Abstract

UMKM Komunitas Perempuan Tangguh Nasional (KOMPETeN) , merupakan salah satu Pelaku UMKM menjadi komponen masyarakat yang berperan sebagai pembayar pajak. Sebanyak 2,3 Juta pelaku UMKM terdaftar menjadi Wajib Pajak atau kurang lebih 3,6% dari Total 64,1 Juta Pelaku UMKM yang tercatat di Kementerian UMKM pada Tahun 2018. Pelaku UMKM selama ini menjadi penopang perekonomian Nasional dan terbukti memberikan kontribusi kurang "lebih 60% PDB Indonesia dan dianggap “Usaha Tahan Banting” saat perekonomian Indonesia Mengalami Turbulansi pada Tahun 2018, dan selama Pandemi Covid 19. Pemerintah dan Dirjen Pajak melalui Strategi dan Kebijakan Pemerintah berupaya mendukung Pelaku UMKM  salah satunya dengan Kebijakan Insentif Pajak UMKM sebagai wujud pelaksanaan kewajiban Pajak secara Self Assessment. Menurut Mardiasmo (2019) Self Assessment System merupakan system pemungutan pajak yang memberikan kewenangan kepada Wajib Pajak untuk menentukan sendiri pajak yang terutang dan dapat diartikan bahwa sistem tersebut menuntut Wajib Pajak untuk menghitung. Disamping itu Pemerintah dan DPR juga telah men-sahkan UU Nomor 7 Tahun 2021 tentang Harmonisasi Peraturan Perpajakan (HPP). Dalam aturan ini, pemerintah memastikan memberikan sistem perpajakan yang berkeadilan, sehat, efektif, dan efisien untuk melindungi masyarakat menengah bawah maupun UMKM. Tujuan dari dilaksanakannya Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini adalah untuk memberikan pemahaman secara komprehensif kepada para pelaku UMKM KOMPETeN di Kota Bekasi terkait adanya perubahan dalam pelaksanaan kewajiban perpajakan bagi para pelaku UMKM setelah diundangkannya UU HPP yang salah satu adalah terkait batasan omzet 500 juta yang tidak dikenakan pajak bagi para wajib pajak UMKM, untuk itu diperlukan pemahaman secara konsep dan teknis  pelaksanaan kewajiban pajak bagi pelaku UMKM baik itu Penghitungan, Penyetoran dan Pelaporan yang saat ini telah diwajibkan menggunakan aplikasi Ditjen Pajak berbasis teknologi. Metode PKM ini dilakukan dengan memberikan materi pengetahuan teoritis dan praktik sesuai dengan kondisi sebenarnya. Hasil dari kegiatan PKM ini diharapkan para pelaku UMKM  KOMPETeN mampu melaksanakan kewajiban Perpajakan sebagai Wajib Pajak Pelaku UMKM yaitu melaksanakan sewajiban pajak secara Self Assessment, dimana wajib pajak harus menghitung, menyetorkan sendiri pajak terutang ke kas negara, melakukan pengisian SPT PPh Tahunan OP dan melaporkannya dengan benar menggunakan Aplikasi Ditjen Pajak berbasis Teknologi (e-Tax System) agar terhindar dari sanksi perpajakan.

Abstract

Masyarakat Pantai Popoh, Tulungagung-Jawa timur, rata-rata bermata pencairan sebagai nelayan lobster. Untuk menangkap lobster masyarakat di Pantai Popoh ini menggunakan keramba yang disuplai menggunakan diesel. Setiap harinya nelayan menghabiskan 50 ribu Rupiah untuk mengisi bahan bakar diesel. Disisi lain, pantai popoh memiliki intesitas cahaya matahari yang baik untuk dikembangkan tenaga matahari, yaitu sebesar 4.49 Kwp/m2. hari. Program Pengabdian Kepada Masyarkat ini bertujuan menganti keramba konvensional dengan Smart Keramba Tenaga Matahari (SKTM Project). Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan dan simulasi dengan menggunakan software Pvsyst diperlukan 1,3 Kwp solar panel dan battery sebesar 48V450 Ah. Adapun progress pekerjaan SKTM PROJECT sudah dilaksanakan dan diserahkan kepada masyarakat Pantai Popoh pada tanggal 2 Maret 2022 dan pekerjaan sudah selesai 100%.
