Jurnal Inovasi Ekonomi (JIKO) has been accredited by the National Journal Accreditation (ARJUNA) Managed by the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education, Republic of Indonesia, and is currently ranked 4th (Sinta 4). JIKO is an open-access short communication (letter) journal that publishes both theoretical and empirical original papers in all economics and business fields. JIKO emphasizes contributions to the academic and practical world so that JIKO is expected to have a broad impact from policymakers to economic actors ranging from companies, industries to MSMEs. JIKO uses the word "Inovasi" which is the same as Innovation as an answer to the increasingly dynamic and disruptive changes in the economic, business, and technology world. We are also delighted with the multidisciplinary approach. Therefore, we appreciate the novelty and conclusion based on the mature discussion. JIKO only receives article-length, not more than 2500 words, and treat every single manuscript with the double-blind review process.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the strategy of human resources (SHR) in mediating leadership styles in improving performance and to identify the dominant leadership style in influencing SHR. 96 echelon officials were used as samples with a stratified random sampling approach. The results show that all hypotheses are proven to be influential, and SHR is a mediation complementary to partial mediation. This study provides a unique development where transformational leadership is the dominant factor in improving SHR compared to visionary leadership.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and explain the role of job stress in mediating the relationship between workload, incentives, and turnover intention. Samples were taken from as many as 44 employees who worked for at least 6 months. Hypothesis testing in this study using Smart PLS 3.3.3. The study's results explain that incentives have a negative effect on work stress and turnover intention, and work stress has a positive impact on turnover intention. This finding also explains that job stress is a competitive partial mediation. This study develops a model from previous studies that give different results between workload and work stress.

Abstract

The success of a school is assessed as the success of the principal. The primary key of the principal as an effective leader is to influence and move teachers to participate in every school activity to realize the school's vision and mission. Non-PNS SMK teachers can fulfill all their duties and responsibilities is the answer to the success of a future-oriented leader, having a clear vision and mission, maintaining communication, giving attention, and good relations between leaders and teachers. This study examines and analyzes leadership styles in improving innovative work behavior. The tool used in testing this research uses Smart-PLS.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of digital culture transformation and tax incentive policies on the sustainability of small and medium micro enterprises in Tegal City during the Covid-19 pandemic. The population in this study is food MSMEs who already have an active Instagram social media, have P-IRT and halal MUI, and are under the auspices of the Tegal City Manpower and Industry Office obtained a sample of 60 MSMEs. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed a significant effect of digital culture transformation and tax incentives on the continuity of Tegal City Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises during the Covid-19 pandemic, partially and simultaneously.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of integrated human resource management on the optimization of marketing performance. The subject under study is the Tourism Industry SMEs. Hypothesis testing is done by multiple regression testing with data processing using SPSS software version 25. There are five hypotheses used in this study, with the results obtained are 1) individual performance has a significant effect on marketing performance, 2) innovation culture has a significant effect on marketing performance, 3) rewards have a significant effect on marketing performance, 4) individual performance, innovation culture, and rewards have a simultaneous effect on marketing performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: 1) the effect of organizational culture on tutor performance; 2) The influence of leadership style on tutor performance; 3) the influence of organizational culture on job satisfaction; 4) the influence of leadership style on job satisfaction; 5) the effect of job satisfaction on performance tutor at Center for Community Learning Activities (PKBM) Luthfillah and Tilung Raya. This study uses a quantitative approach, and questionnaires carry out data collection techniques. The sampling technique used was saturated sampling, which amounted to 33 respondents. Respondents in this study were all PKBM tutors, Luthfillah and Tilung Raya. The data analysis method in hypothesis testing uses Partial Least Square (PLS). The results of this study indicate that organizational culture and leadership style affect job satisfaction. On the other hand, Organizational Culture has no significant effect on tutor performance. Furthermore, job satisfaction influences tutor performance.

Abstract

This study investigates the effect of organizational climate and motivation on organizational citizenship behavior through employee job satisfaction. Through structural equation modeling (SEM) with 71 respondents, this study found that organizational climate does not affect performance, but job satisfaction can. But apart from that, work motivation affects performance directly or through job satisfaction. By increasing work motivation and creating a comfortable and conducive organizational climate to increase employee job satisfaction, employees will feel satisfied in working and carrying out their duties; this is expected to increase OCB in a more optimal direction.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether Viral Marketing, Celebrity Endorsers, and Price influence BTS Meal Purchasing Decisions. The sample in this study was 102 respondents, with a sampling technique using Purposive Sampling. The respondent were people who purchased BTS Meal a minimum of once. This research analysis method uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Partial Least Square (PLS) approach. The results showed that: 1) there was a strong and significant influence between viral marketing and the purchase decision of BTS Meal; 2) celebrity Endorsement significantly affects the purchase decision of BTS Meal; 3) the price does not significantly affect the purchase decision of the BTS Meal. The result of the Goodness of Fit (GOF) value in this study is 0.509, which means that the model's fit and the study's variables are robust.

Abstract

The study aimed to determine how implementing the Village Financial System (Siskeudes) application affects transparency as a mediator in realizing quality village financial reports in Kediri Regency. The quantitative research used secondary data as a questionnaire to the Village Treasurer in Kediri Regency. Purposive sampling was used to carry out the sample selection process, and 343 villages provided 185 samples for the study through a regression model. The results show that the Siskeudes application can directly affect the quality of village financial reports and indirectly through transparency as a mediating variable. The Siskeudes application significantly impacts the caliber of village financial reports; transparency can augment this impact as a mediating factor.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on socially responsible investment, specifically the SRI-KEHATI stock index on the Jakarta Stock Exchange. The study utilizes secondary data comprising 11,175 observations from 35 public companies, spanning from March 2, 2020, to December 31, 2021. Panel data regression is employed to examine the relationship between stock returns and confirmed COVID-19 cases, serving as the independent variable. The model is controlled for market capitalization, market-to-book ratio, and firm size. Additionally, Indonesia's lockdown policy is incorporated as a dummy variable. The findings reveal a significant negative impact of confirmed cases on SRI-KEHATI stock returns.
