Abstract

This study aims to identify fall management problems in psychiatric patients, conduct analysis, develop a plan of action, implement psychiatric fall management innovations, and evaluate the use of appropriate assessment tools in the psychiatric population. The method used is a case report using the ADDIE approach. The research results showed that the attitudes and involvement of nurses in fall management were high (99.42% and 98.86%). However, the results of the focus group discussion (FGD) in the psychiatric room found data that the fall risk assessment tool currently used, namely the fall Morse scale (FMS), has not accommodated the condition of psychiatric patients, namely there is no assessment of psycho-pharmaceutical drugs, sedative drugs and activity and patient elimination. Evaluation of the successful implementation of appropriate fall risk assessment tools in the psychiatric population is seen from the nurses' opinions about the ease of use of the tools, the ease of assessing a patient's risk of falling, and the devices that can accommodate the conditions of psychiatric patients. The result is that 62% recommend using the Wilson-Sims Fall Risk Assessment Tool (WSFRAT), and 38% recommend using the Edmonson Psychiatric Fall Risk Assessment Tool (EPFRAT). In conclusion, using appropriate fall risk assessment tools in the psychiatric population can reduce the incidence of falls and make it easier for nurses to assess the risk of falls in psychiatric patients. Abstract

This study aims to find the literature that discusses telehealth or telenursing in Indonesia during the COVID-19 pandemic. The method used in writing is a literature review. The study results in show that telehealth benefits patients and health service providers by increasing the knowledge of medical staff and updating knowledge to improve the health services provided. The health promotion offered can be carried out more optimally, and with this telehealth, nurses can monitor the patient's condition to determine whether the behavior is under the health promotion offered. In conclusion, telehealth can be used as a solution in remote care to limit direct contact. The use of telehealth or telenursing has a very positive impact. Patients can only complete treatment by telephone, computer, internet, video, and audio conferencing. The time spent in remote care is also quite effective. Abstract

This study aims to discover that healthcare technology has innovated in the quality and delivery of care to patients to motivate the promotion of safe, comfortable, and cost-effective care. The method used is a literature review from several online database searches using a research design in the form of a literature review. The results showed that from the six articles reviewed, several themes were obtained, namely 1) Virtual Reality for Pediatric Needle Procedural Pain: Two Randomized Clinical Trials, 2) A Systematic Review and Meta-analysis of virtual reality in Pediatrics: Effects on Pain and Anxiety, carried out meta-analysis, 3) Virtual reality distraction during pediatric intravenous line placement in the emergency department: A prospective randomized comparison study, 4). Virtual reality for pain and anxiety management in children, 5). Effect of an Immersive Virtual Reality Intervention on Pain and Anxiety Associated With Peripheral Intravenous Catheter Placement in the Pediatric Setting A Randomized Clinical Trial, 6). Effectiveness of virtual reality on pain and anxiety management in cancer patients, Literature review. So thus, the involvement of all parties is needed to improve distraction techniques using Virtual Reality during intervention so that it is hoped that it can reduce the pain scale in children according to standard care in every hospital that gets invasive procedures. In conclusion, the Virtual Reality distraction technique has or is very influential on the condition of the child to be carried out or to receive medical procedures. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the use of smartphones in reporting symptoms experienced by pediatric cancer patients. This research method uses a non-systematic literature review study method, looking for related articles from 2020-2022. The results obtained from ten associated journals and a review of the journals found that smartphones with various applications help report the condition of pediatric cancer patients and their daily experiences. In conclusion, all applications developed are acceptable and easy to use by patients, parents/caregivers, and health workers. Abstract

This study aimed to detect seizures early on the mobile health application in children with epilepsy. The research method used was the literature review database at the University of Indonesia, namely Science Direct, ProQuest, Scopus, EBSCOhost, and Google Scholar (2018-2022. The results of this study show that a review literature search obtained from seven journals showed that the mobile health application is used to detect seizure waves in children. A lot of review literature on mobile health can detect seizure waves early so that parents or caregivers can prepare themselves before seizures appear in children using mobile health. The application can also improve patient medication adherence, assist in documenting seizures, and increase knowledge about epilepsy for children, parents, or caregivers. In conclusion, mobile health applications benefit children with epilepsy in self-management. Keywords: Epilepsy, EEG, Mobile Health Application

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of telemonitoring on the incidence of readmission in patients with heart failure. The method used in this study is a literature review focusing on articles published in the last five years and English, with the target population being patients aged over 18 years. The article search strategy uses online databases, namely "ScienceDirect," "ProQuest," "Sage," and "Scopus," using keywords and Boolean Operators. The results showed that using a telemonitoring system in most articles proved effective in reducing readmissions in heart failure patients. This difference occurs due to differences in the number of samples and the length of time of the study. In conclusion, telemonitoring is effective in reducing readmission in heart failure patients compared to those who receive regular care. Keywords: Heart failure, Rehospitalization, Telemonitoring
