Abstract

This study aimed to see the use of a computer-based expert system with the forward channeling method for detecting Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease and its application in nursing. The research method used in writing this literature review is based on 25 literature in 2018-2022. This expert system is run with PHP and MYSQL programs. The results of this study are that the Forward Chaining Expert System program will detect gastroesophageal reflux disease based on the symptoms inputted into the system and display an intervention plan that can be carried out like an expert. Still, this system cannot show 100% appropriate disease diagnosis because it requires a series of other tests that still need to be put in the system. In conclusion, with this expert system technology, health workers and users are increasingly assisted and shorten the time required for disease diagnosis and treatment. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to review studies related to the CNN method in predicting cardiovascular disease so that it can explain the comparison of results between the CNN studies to detect cardiovascular disease that have been conducted. The research method used is a literature review. The results of the study show that the use of the CNN method to detect cardiovascular disease has excellent results, with the highest percentage of accuracy reaching 99.79%, the highest percentage of F1-score achieving 99.78%, the highest percentage of specificity achieving 98.35%, and the highest sensitivity reaching 99.71%. In conclusion, the CNN method can be implemented into a clinical decision support system that health workers such as doctors and nurses can use to assess patient health. Further research must consider the proposed CNN architectural model using the database to outperform existing research. Abstract

This literature review aims to identify the implementation of telenursing in disaster management. This study uses the literature review method, using the ProQuest, PubMed, ScienceDirect, Sage Journals, and Scopus databases. The search results obtained 182 journals after further analysis. They got six articles that were reviewed with criteria discussing the topic of using information systems in disaster management, telenursing in disaster management, and the role of nurses in disaster management. The results of this literature divide four main topics: the benefits of telenursing in disaster management, the implementation of telenursing, the challenges in implementing telenursing, and the results of implementing telenursing in disaster management. In conclusion, telenursing is a practical step in reaching disaster victims to get fast health care and make patients independent. Keywords: Nursing Care, Nurse Disaster Management, Telenursing

Abstract

The purpose of telenursing is to provide a general overview. It can potentially be used for its effectiveness on the quality of life of premature babies and babies with complex problems after NICU admission. Researchers used a literature study by conducting a journal review regarding telenursing on the quality of babies post NICU care, utilizing the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines. Journals that discuss topics in three categories: 1) Telenursing, 2) Babies with complex problems, 3) Quality of life for babies, and 4) Telehealth. Search via online databases, including ClinikalKey, Elsevier, ScienceDirect, ProQuest, Cambridge, SAGE Journal, 2018-2022, and full-text articles. The research search found ten articles that had been extracted. The research showed that telenursing benefits the quality of life of post-NICU babies. In conclusion, telenursing technology is practical and feasible to improve baby care at home with remote monitoring. Keywords: Premature Baby Life, Telenursing

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to compare the effectiveness of implementing electronic medical records in several countries when nurses hand over patients. The method used in this literature study is a type of systematic review. The author uses the inclusion criteria are journal publications in the 2018-2022 range, with the outcomes analyzed are electronic medical records and patient handovers of 10 journals, and the exclusion criteria are types of literature review research methods. The study results show that the benefits of using electronic medical records during the handover process are that they can improve professional relationships, improve the quality of care, improve patient continuity and communication, reduce negligence and misinformation, and improve patient safety. However, its use still needs to be positively felt by all parties because the role of technology in ensuring the quality of communication and feedback requires continuous evaluation. It has been argued that quality and efficiency can coexist if the organizational culture supports it. Keywords: Communication, Patient Safety, Electronic Medical Records, Nurse Handover
