Abstract

The purpose of this research was to examine empirically the effect between competency and motivation on work productivity among the employees at Regional General Hospital of Banten. The subjects of this research were 122 employees selected as samples by using proportionate stratified random sampling technique taken from the overall population of 175 employees. The data of each variable were collected separately by the respondents’ filling in a questionnaire. The effect technique was applied to analyze the data which had been previously treated with the regressive and correlation procedure. The result proved that the employees’ work productivity was positively affected by the competency and the motivation in Regional General Hospital of Banten, and the motivation was positively affected by the competency. The findings suggest that the variation of the work productivity of the employees might have been affected by the competency and the motivation.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to examine empirically the effect between organizational cultures, discipline and job satisfaction on job performance among the employees at Regional Financial Revenue Management Official in Banten Province. The subjects of this research were 130 employees selected as samples by using proportionate stratified random sampling technique taken from the overall population of 193 employees. The data of each variable were collected separately by the respondents’ filling in a questionnaire. The effect technique was applied to analyze the data which had been previously treated with the regressive and correlation procedure. The result proved that the employees’ job performance was positively affected by the organizational culture, discipline and the job satisfaction in Regional Financial Revenue Management Official in Banten Province, and the job satisfaction was positively affected by the organizational culture, and discipline. The findings suggest that the variation of the job performance of the employees might have been affected by the organizational culture, discipline and the job satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of labor absorption and human development index on provincial minimum wage in five provinces of Indonesia. Data used a panel data which combines the data time series and cross section data. The method used is pooled least squares method is analyzed by software Eviews 7. The results showed that the effect of labor absorption on provincial minimum wage were negative, so if there is an increase in labor absorption, it will cause a decrease in the provincial minimum wage and improvement of the human development index will have an impact also on the increase in the provincial minimum wage.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was the effectiveness and efficiency of the Financial Management Information System in improving the performance of employees in Lebak. This research includes studies in which the mixture is more to the qualitative approach by including quantitative design. Population 60 government departments in Lebak with the sample used 30 respondents using purposive sampling technique. Analysis qualitative data using software NVivo 10 and Quantitative Analysis using SPSS 20 software. The findings of this study prove that; 1) effectiveness and efficiency of the Financial Management Information System can improve employee performance, 2) the appointment of personnel systems based Lebak administration policies, 3) Training and coaching organized by the Department of Revenue and Fiscal Management given once every year. This shows that the program is conceptually and empirically SIPKD is a program that helps local financial management in order to improve organizational performance or the performance of employees in financial data processing activities.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to examine empirically the effect between price, advertising and Service on customer decision among the employees at Bank Rakyat Indonesia in Rangkasbitung. 100 customers selected as samples by using simple random sampling technique taken from the overall population of 134 customers. The effect technique was applied to analyze the data which had been previously treated with the regressive and correlation procedure. The result proved that the customer decision was positively affected by the price, advertising and service at Bank Rakyat Indonesia in Rangkasbitung, and the service was positively affected by the price and the advertising. The findings suggest that the variation of the customer decision of the customers might have been affected by the price, advertising and the Service.

Abstract

Quality is a key factor that brings the success of a production, growth and improvement of the competitive position of the company. To continue to maintain consistency and the existence of a quality product, we conducted qualities. Our control wire rod (wire rod) is one of the products produced in the PT. Krakatau Steel (Persero) Tbk, from observation data available, the number of types of defects or defective product in August 2014 there are 6 known types, namely: Coil cut in the middle, rumpled, over-fill, under fill, laps, creep speed and other defect. Number biggest defect is the defect tangle trait: 72 214 tons. Analysis of observations using P control chart with UCL LCL 2:58 15.05 and, known defect tangled in the wire rod products there that exceeds the upper control limit which occurred on August 29, 2014, with many disability 38.319 tons. It can be concluded in this case the production process must be improved and enhanced so that the occurrence of defects in the wire rod products can be prevented/ avoided.
