Abstract

The rapid development of technology brings changes to all sectors. One technology that plays an important role is web-based. Abercode Software House is a company engaged in software development services. In one of the project order processing flows, the traditional method was used, namely interviews and manual notes. Therefore, a website-based Application Project Order Information System is one way to solve problems in Abercode Software House. The building of this system used software development using the Waterfall method and the PHP and HTML programming languages and MySQL as the database. The data collection method used was qualitative and data-based analysis methods and Blackbox testing methods. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the traditional method slowed down and complicated the ordering process. The testing information systems carried out with the Blackbox method obtained the expected results as a whole, with for the testing carried out directly by Abercode Software House.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of adding methanol to the methanol-gasoline fuel mixture. It was hoped that the addition of methanol improves the performance of the four-stroke two-wheeled engine, considering that methanol has a better octane rating than gasoline and is more environmentally friendly. The fuels used were pure gasoline and a mixture of methanol-gasoline of M5, M10, M15, M20, M25, and M30. The study used a type of 100cc four-stroke two-wheeled motor fuel. The data collected includes the motor torque, motor power, and fuel consumption. In the research, the M20 fuel produced the highest torque of 7.32 Nm at 5500 rpm. The maximum power obtained from the engine was 6.8 HP at 7000 rpm rotation using M15 fuel. Increasing the concentration of oxygen in the fuel can lead to better combustion quality. The addition of methanol will increase the oxygen concentration in the fuel and cause the calorific value of the fuel mixture to decrease.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the flow of sales transaction data. The data flow is modeled using a data flow diagram. The procedure carried out for data flow analysis began by interviews with staff who handle sales, then proceeded to identify entities and documents that go in and out of these entities, then modelled the data flow into data flow diagrams, and taking into account the rules on data flow diagram modeling. The results of this study are data flow diagram modeling of sales transaction that can be used to perform advanced system models such as case modeling, entity relationship diagrams, and others.

Abstract

This study aims to design a wind pipe installation using a solenoid valve in Piksi Ganesha Indonesia Polytechnic laboratory. The research used the R & D (Research and Development) method. The research results are: 1) the testing of the use of a wind pipe installation using a solenoid valve produced an average wind pressure of 88.57 psi.; (2) the product usability test was 70% which belongs to the “very useful” category for use in the laboratory of the Indonesian Polytechnic Piksi Ganesha; (3) at a pressure of 20 psi when the solenoid valve was open, the air pressure released by the air duster gun increased gradually according to the compressor capacity, while at a pressure of 20 psi when the solenoid valve was closed, the air duster gun could not release the air because the solenoid valve was closed, so the wind could not move towards the air duster gun.

Abstract

The deviation of child growth and development is very influential on the growth of children, delays in information on deviations in child growth and development cause delays in actions by Puskesmas (public health center) officers and parents. Therefore, the government routinely conducts screenings for Stimulation of Detection and Early Intervention of Growth and Development (SDIDTK) to find cases of deviations in the growth and development of children aged 3 to 72 months. The screenings aim to detect growth disorders (stunting, thin, thin, fat, microcephaly, and macrocephaly); developmental disorders (rough and smooth movements, speech and language, and social personal); hearing and vision disorders; and emotional mental disorders. To overcome information delays and also child growth and development handlers, an online application to monitor the growth of children aged 0 to 72 months, the M-SDIDTK application was made of which features including (1) an Android-based SDIDTK form that can be downloaded for free by cadres or officers, (2) an SDIDTK screening method guide, (3) and a dashboard of the screening results that Puskesmas officers can access. The dashboard can display a graph of the child's growth development according to the type of developmental disorder based on the SDIDTK book.

Abstract

UKM Tofu ADA is a tofu producer that makes an effort to develop the quality standardization of the tofu production process. Managing tofu quality through maintaining the production process is challenging, resulting in no good tofu. Defective products cause economic loss and the inability to fulfill customer orders. This study aims to evaluate defects in the tofu production process using the Seven Tools and Kaizen approach. The results of this study configure three types of product defects. Namely, mushy, cracked, and crushed. The highest percentage of defects is mushy tofu, with 43.8%. The proposed improvement using kaizen analysis is the Kaizen Five-M Checklist.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze, design, and build an information system at POS SPP Bandung. The authors obtained the necessary data using observation, interviews, and literature studies from several previous studies. Based on employee observations and interviews, the system in POS SPP incoming division was less efficient, because it took two employees to run the item scan system. The goal to be achieved is that the information system that we have designed can help the process of receiving goods or items to be more accurate and faster. And as it only requires one employee to carry out the process of receiving goods, making it more effective and efficient. Therefore, in this study, an Android-based item input information system design was made using UML and implemented with the Java programming language and MySQL as a database and quick response code feature for the scanning process.

Abstract

Controlling the temperature of the liquid in the tank is most widely used in industrial processes. One of the popular systems in industrial processes is the three-tank system. Controlling the temperature directly using the heater element has the disadvantage of a very long transient response and tends to oscillate when there is a set point change. A cascade control strategy is a form of multilevel control consisting of two layers of control loops that allow controlling the temperature by manipulating the level of the liquid. The PID control can be applied in both control layers. Based on the test results, the steady-state time was 27 seconds; while using the direct control method, the steady-state time was slower by 60 minutes.

Abstract

The result of the current technological developments makes increasingly tight telecommunication provider competition. Various opinions expressed by customers about telecommunication providers are found in social media. Twitter is widely used by the public to share information and socialize; also, to share opinions, express opinions of a product or service, and provide reviews on communication providers. Many reviews are provided by users on Twitter, making it hard to classify manually. Therefore, to make it easy to classify the tweets, an automation system is needed to determine that a comment is positive or negative. Maximum Entropy can be used for sentiment analysis of Indosat Ooredoo tweets. On these grounds, this study explains how to define tweets into positive and negative classes with applications created using Java. Based on the research and after testing, the Maximum Entropy obtained an accuracy value of 86.21% and an AUC value of 0.968.

Abstract

Banyumas Regency is prone to falling trees in the rainy season, but the report on fallen tree disasters is still not focused. The large number of social media used and the regent's complaint booth confuses the reporting process because it is not centralized in one system, making data recording difficult. The authorities in handling the fallen tree disaster are the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Banyumas district. With these problems, an android application was designed that functions to facilitate the process of reporting disasters from the community, as well as the process of recording fallen tree disaster data. The design stage uses the Waterfall method, and the testing uses UAT and black box testing. The testing was carried out by three users, namely the Community, Admin, and Officers. The respondents from the community as many as 120 people, as many as 20 officers, and admin as many as 3 people. The results of the UAT application test are that the application is very helpful for the disaster reporting process; the menu display is attractive; the application can be understood; the type, font size, and color is easy to read; and the users do not find it difficult to make an account, and the application menu meets the users’ needs. In the black box testing, it was found that the designed application was very helpful with an average validation percentage of 98% for each menu.
