Abstract

Islamic commercial Banks in Indonesia continue to experience improvement because of the better performance level of Islamic banking in Indonesia. The increase in the performance of Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia is also influenced by the role of the people who entrust them to use the banking services they choose, especially customers who invest in the hope of getting profit back. Bank Indonesia has determined that one way to measure bank profitability is the return on assets (ROA). This study uses a quantitative analysis using secondary data types in the form of monthly data for 4 years 11 months, namely Return On Assets (ROA) data which is influenced by BOPO, NPF, NOM, FDR that occurs in Indonesia using the ECM (Error Correction Model). The results in this study are BOPO has a negative and insignificant effect on ROA, NPF has a negative and significant effect on ROA, NOM has a positive and significant effect on ROA, and FDR has a negative and insignificant effect on ROA on Islamic Commercial Banks in Indonesia

Abstract

This research is motivated by the condition of economic growth  which is always in a fluctuating state. So that variables that can strengthen or increase economic growth are needed. Economic growth is often associated with the welfare of a country's people. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of Zakat Infak Sedekah (X1), Exports (X2) and Household Consumption to Indonesia's Economic Growth (Y) in 2015-2019. Samples were obtained as many as 60 data of BPS and BAZNAS. The data used in this study are sekunder data time series. Data analysis  used statistical tests,  Descriptive statistical test, stationarity test, multiple linear regression test and also classical assumption test (normality test, multicollinearity test, heterocesdasticity test, autocorrelation test and linearity test) with the help of Eviews version 11. The result of this study indicate  that zakat infak sedekah has a positive and significant effect on economic growth, exports has a positive and significant effect on economic growth and household consumption has a positive and significant effect on economic growth.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the causes of waste and minimize the causes of waste in the production process by using a lean manufacturing approach and analyzing it from an Islamic economic perspective. This type of research is field research with a qualitative approach. The informants of this study were the owner and 9 employees of the Saf'fana Furniture Store. The analysis technique used uses several tools, including VSM, Fishbone diagrams, Failure Mode and Effect Analysis. The results of this study indicate that the cause of the emergence of waste in the production process lies in the time of the drying process and repair of defective goods, the way to minimize it is to increase the stock of raw materials and increase worker discipline so that product defects do not occur, while in the perspective of Islamic economics the production process is classified as on tabzir because the time used to dry the raw materials and after the finished product must be repaired again on the defective goods, thus need creativity and discipline to workers

Abstract

Islamic banking in Indonesia in recent years has experienced extraordinary developments. However, the development of Islamic banking has not been able to attract the Indonesian people to join Islamic banking. As is the case in Panceng sub-district, Gresik district where public interest in Islamic banking is still very lacking. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to find out how the interest of the people in the Panceng sub-district towards Islamic banking. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach. The results of this study indicate that public interest in the Panceng sub-district is still very low seen from the results of interviews, observations, and so on. This is due to the lack of public knowledge of Islamic banking, then they do not understand the system and operations applied to Islamic banks, as well as a sense of comfort towards conventional banks because they first know conventional banks are also a factor in the lack of public interest in Islamic banking in the region. Abstract

The development of the Islamic finance industry has provided a variety of Islamic financial products. Islamic finance is not only limited to products in Islamic banks. Currently, Islamic financial products have developed, including the presence of Sukuk Investment products. The existing Sukuk consist of state Sukuk and corporate Sukuk. In the marketing process, state Sukuk is still dominated by conventional financial institutions, even though Sukuk itself is a product of Islamic finance. one of the Islamic financial institutions as a Sukuk agent can go through sharia fintech. The purpose of the study was to determine the development of state Sukuk and the development of sharia fintech institutions. and to find out the optimization of sharia fintech as a state Sukuk investment agent. The research method used in this research is qualitative. The data source used is secondary data. The data has been presented by the Financial Services Authority (OJK) and the Directorate General of Financing and Risk Management (DJPPR) of the Ministry of Finance. The data analysis technique used in this study is descriptive qualitative, which describes the development of state Sukuk products, as well as the development of sharia fintech peer-to-peer lending (P2P) sharia, as well as forms of optimizing sharia fintech as a selling agent for state Sukuk products. The results of this study show that the development of state Sukuk of the SR type in 2019 reached 46.07 percent and ST type reached 8,436,570,000,000. As for the development of sharia fintech, sharia fintech assets amounted to 50,591,727,786 rupiahs or 1.4 percent of the total fintech assets as a whole. The number of fintech that has been registered and licensed at the OJK is 161 companies, and 7.5 percent are sharia fintech or 13 companies. Optimizing sharia fintech as a state Sukuk investment agent needs to be done, by involving sharia fintech as Sukuk. Reversing the essence of Sukuk as a sharia product can be obtained through sharia fintech, to be more convincing. The character of sharia fintech by utilizing technology can provide access to state Sukuk sharia investment.

Abstract

This study aims to explore information about tips by philanthropists in maintaining their philanthropic motivation during the COVID-19 pandemic, conditions that are burdensome for philanthropy, the intensity of philanthropy, and how they invite others to philanthropy. This study uses a qualitative approach with data collection methods in the form of observation, interviews, open questionnaires, and documentation. The analysis was carried out using data triangulation techniques. The results showed that some of their main tips in maintaining their philanthropic motivation were: a strong commitment to sharing sustenance, believing that alms can keep away all problems, philanthropy has become a necessity and joining alms management groups. Conditions or things that have the potential to burden philanthropists: when there is an urgent need when income is decreasing, the location is remote, and when the institution is no longer trustworthy. The majority of philanthropy levels remain even during the pandemic. As for how to invite others to do philanthropy, such as inviting them directly together, explaining the virtues of alms including through social media, giving examples of philanthropy, distributing brochures and orphanage calendars.

Abstract

The objective of this research  to discuss the relationship between the internal factors of bank profitability of Islamic commercial banks belonging to State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) before the merger. The independent variables are credit risk which is represented by non performing loan and loan loss provision and bank size, with the dependent variable is bank  profitability using two proxies return on asset and return on equity. This Study using secondary data from quarterly reports with population data before 2020 (before the merger). The sample used purposive sampling method from 2016 to 2020, to obtain 60 data. This study uses panel data analysis. The results show that NPL has a significant negative effect on profitability both ROA and ROE, while LLP has no effect on profitability both ROA and ROE, bank size has a significant negative effect on ROA but has no effect to ROE.

Abstract

This research aimed to know the credit and economic sector financing of banking economy effect on capital formation in Indonesia. The more investments that banks receive from investors, the more profits they will get in the future. In this case capital formation can develop. The research type is descriptive quantitative research. This research involved Islamic Commercial Bank, Islamic Business Unit, Conventional Banking and used monthly data in 2015-2020. This research used Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) to verify short term or long term correlation of independent variables on capital formation in Indonesia. The results of this research show that the short term variables of the agricultural sector and the manufacturing sector have no effect on capital formation. While, foreign direct investment has an effect on capital formation in Indonesia. Then in the long term, the agricultural sector has not effect on capital formation. While, the manufacturing sector and foreign direct investment have a direct effect on capital formation in Indonesia. Therefore recommended that the monetary authority make efforts effectively manage bank maximal loans.

Abstract

The largest state income in Indonesia is tax. So it is necessary to study the allocation and distribution of these taxes from the perspective of Islamic economics, this is because Indonesia has the largest Muslim population in the world. Indonesian state income from an Islamic economic perspective is very important, this is because the Islamic economy in Indonesia currently has great opportunities in its development aspect. Especially at this time, it has been recorded in the history of the economy in Indonesia as evidence of the development of the Islamic economy in Indonesia, including the existence of the embodiment of the National Money Waqf Movement and the Islamic Economic Brand. The purpose of this study aims to reveal about: the allocation and distribution of state revenues from the perspective of Islamic Economics on Existence (Sharia Economic Brand and Cash Waqf); and its relevance in Indonesia in the current era (4.0). The method used in this research is library research whose sources are in the form of library data in the form of various books, journals, internet, and also other sources relevant to the theme of allocation and distribution of state income in Islam. The results show that the allocation and distribution of state revenues, when viewed from the perspective of Islamic Economics, has the concept of Rahmatan Lil 'Alamin, meaning equal distribution of ability or income for the community that can be applied in Indonesia, one of which is through the national movement of cash waqf and the Islamic economic brand.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of Murabahah, Mudharaba, and Musharaka Financing on Net Profit Growth at Bank Muamalat Indonesia Period 2016-2019. The independent variables used are Murabahah, Mudharaba, and Musharaka financing. The dependent variable used is Net Profit at Bank Muamalat Indonesia. The population and sample in this study are the Monthly Financial Statements of Bank Muamalat Indonesia, January 2016 - December 2019, 12 months x 4 years = 48, so the sample of this research is 48. Samples were selected using the saturated sampling method. The analytical method used in this study is multiple linear regression with time-series data processed using SPSS IBM 20 and Microsoft Excel 2010. The results of this study indicate that the independent variables Murabahah, Mudharaba, and Musharaka financing simultaneously affect the dependent variable Net Profit. Partially Murabahah Financing does not affect Net Profit. Partially, Mudharaba Financing hurts Net Profit, and Partially Musharaka Financing does not affect Net Profit.
