Owing to the complexity and flexibility in heterogeneous multiprocessor System-on-Chip (MPSoC) architecture, parallel programming has become a tough and urgent problem to solve. Model-based development methodology improves the software production efficiency and the reliability. Some model development tools such as Simulink and Rhapsody are widely applied in the development of embedded applications. But they do not satisfy the characteristics of embedded heterogeneous multi-core software. Thus developing a general modeling environment for model-based software design is necessary and meaningful. This paper designed and implemented a graphical modeling platform MVx-modeling by using the object-oriented programming technology and Visual C#.NET development language. Practical application shows MVx-modeling platform easy-to-use and efficient. It speeds embedded application development and lowers software costs for heterogeneous MPSoC. The use of solar photovoltaic (PV) system has grown significantly in Malaysia after Renewable Energy Act has been gazetted in 2011.The objective of this paper is to highlight the technical and economic analysis of solar PV DC system to generate enough energy for residential customer group that consumed 200 kWh per month so that they are less dependent on energy from the utility grid. The results are then compared to the solar PV AC system with similar load setup. The methodology involves gathering solar energy resource, configuring daily load demand, sizing PV array, battery bank and inverter and lastly simulation of the design system by using Homer software. Based on Homer simulation, the solar PV AC system required slightly larger PV array sizes than the solar PV DC system to compensate losses due to the inverter efficiency which is not counted in DC system. Moreover, the solar PV AC system is almost 8.0% more expensive with 6% higher COE than the solar PV DC system due to the present of inverter.Lastly, both systems will benefit from reduction of energy consumed up to 2,434 kWh annually and to the environmental aspect, will avoid 1.7 tons of CO2 releases into the atmosphere.

Reliability indices are always one of the most important factors in the power systems. In this paper, the problem of the economic load dispatch (ELD) and the problem of economic emission load dispatch (CEELD) have been improved taking into account reliability indices. That is, the problem and reliability of ELD are proposed as combined economic load dispatch reliability (CELDR) and the problem CEELD is suggested as (CEELDR). In solving CELDR and CEELDR problems, tried to use power generators in a very reliable way to save system load, as well as minimum fuel and emission costs. In this effort, the ELD of power plants is successfully implemented in a single system containing 6 generating units, taking into account the reliability and emissions of the system with and without system power loss, inequality and inequality constraints, and valve point effects using the exchange market algorithm (EMA). The results suggest that reliability indicators in ELD can be used to create greater reliability in providing consumers with uninterrupted power.

In Islam, Quran is the holy book that was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad. It functions as complete code of life for the Muslims. Remarks from Allah which contains more than 77,000 words that was passed down through Prophet Muhammad to the mankind for 23 years started in 610 ce. The Quran was divided into 114 chapters. Arabic language is the original text. The need for the Muslims across the world to find the meaning to understand the content in the Quran is necessary. Nevertheless, understanding the Quran is an interest for the Muslims as well as the attention of millions of people from the faiths. Following the generation, lots of content that related to the Quran has been broadcast by Muslims scholars in the way of the tafsirs, translation and the book of hadiths. Problem has happened at current is most Muslim in Malaysia do not understand sentences in the Quran due to language barrier. The purpose of this research is classified topic in each verses of the Quran sentence based on its specific theme. It involves the objective of text mining which are based on linguistic information and domain. The usage of corpus helps to perform various data mining tasks including information extraction, text categorization, the relationship of concepts, association discovery, the evaluation of pattern and assessed. This research project is aiming to create computing environment that enable us use to text mining the Quran. The classification experiment is using the Support Vector Machine to find themes in Juz’ Baqarah. The SVM performance is then compared against other classification algorithms such as Naive Bayes, J48 Decision Tree and K-Nearest Neighbours. This research project aims at creating an enabling computational environment for text mining the Qur’an and to facilitate users to understand every verse in Juz’ Baqarah.

In this paper, we put forward three-level indicators and 13 secondary indicators via Delphi method. We improved the new fuzzy synthetic evaluation method from the aspect of coal-mining information management. After a comprehensive evaluation, 72.28% of people believed that security levels of Huaibei Mining Group belonged to good & moderate one, and 27.72% of people held that security status of Group was poor & very poor condition on the basis of comprehensive evaluation. Therefore, security management information system in Huaibei Mining Group belonged to the middle level. By using the new indicators and research method, the countermeasures were given to improve safety management on the basis of the internet of things. Mobile Ad Hoc Network (MANET) is a collection of mobile nodes, which dynamically form a temporary network, without using any infrastructure like wireless access points or base-stations. The provision of QoS guarantees is much more challenging in Mobile Ad hoc Networks. There are many interesting applications such as multimedia services, disaster recovery etc can be supported if Quality-of-Service (QoS) support can be provided for MANETs. But QoS provisioning in MANETs is a very challenging problem when compared to wired IP networks. This is because of unpredictable node mobility, wireless multi-hop communication, contention for wireless channel access, limited battery power and range of mobile devices as well as the absence of a central coordination authority. So, the design of an efficient and reliable routing scheme providing QoS support for such applications is a difficult task. In this paper we studied the challenges and approaches for QoS aware routing techniques.

Pedestrian detection, face detection, speech recognition and object detection are some of the applications that have benefited from hardware-accelerated SVM. SVM classification computational complexity makes it challenging for designing hardware architecture with real-time performance and low power consumption. On an embedded streaming architecture, test data are stored on external memory and transferred in streams to the FPGA device. The hardwareimplementation for SVM classification needs to be fast enough to keep up with the data transfer speed. Prior implementation throttles data input to avoid overwhelming the computational unit. This results in a bottleneck in overall streaming architecture as maximum throughput could not be obtained. In this work, we propose a streaming architecture multi-class SVM classification for embedded system that is fully pipelined and able to process data continuously with out any need to throttle data stream input. The proposed design is targeted for embedded platform where test data is transferred in streams from an external memory. The architecture was implemented on Altera Cyclone IV platform. Performance analysis on our proposed architecture is done with regards to the number of features and support vectors. For validation, the results obtained is compared with LibSVM. The proposed architecture is able to produce output rate identical to test data input rate.
