Abstract

Many researchers are interested for developed and improved the conjugate gradient method for solving large scale unconstrained optimization problems. In this work a new parameter  will be presented as a convex combination between RMIL and MMWU. The suggestion method always produces a descent search direction at each iteration. Under strong wolfe powell (SWP) line search conditions, the global convergence of the proposed method is established. The preliminary numerical comparisons with some others CG methods have shown that this new method is efficient and robust in solving all given problems.

Abstract

This paper presents image classification algorithms to improve the learning rate and to comparison the classification efficiency. Using convolutional neural network (CNN) for feature extraction and method to find appropriate k for k-nearest neighbor (KNN). Medical datasets were used in the experiments to classify Plasmodium Vivax and Plasmodium Falciparum. Results of the study indicated that for Plasmodium Vivax in ring form, the appropriate k was 1 and the learning rate (LR) was 83.33%, Trophozoite (k=5, LR=91.67%), Schizont (k=1, LR=83.33%), and Gametocyte (k=1, LR=91.67%) whereas Plasmodium Falciparum in ring form (k=7, LR=91.67%), Trophozoite (k=1, LR=83.33%), Schizont (k=1, LR=91.67%) and Gametocyte (k=1, LR=100%).

Abstract

This  paper  deals  with  Analysis of T-Source inverter with PWM Technique for high voltage gain application. The T-source impedance network is newly introduced to overcome the problems of  Z-source inverter. This T-source inverter is similar to Z-source inverter except the use of high frequency low leakage inductance transformer. It has low reactive components in compare with conventional ZSI. This T-source inverter has an ability to perform dc to ac  power conversion and it provides buck -boost operation in a single stage. The traditional inverters cannot provide such feature. Operating principle of T-source inverter is almost same as that of ZSI. All traditional PWM methods can be used to control T-source inverter. The utilization of shoot-through switching state is enhanced in T-source inverter which helps in the unique usage of buck-boost feature to the inverter. It is recommended that to maintain the constant voltage in the input side to get the appropriate output voltage.

Abstract

Image restoration refers to the recovery of an underlying image from an observation that has been corrupted by various types of noise. In a digital forensic software, such image restoration process should be noise-tolerant, robust, fast, and scalable.  In this paper, we apply implicative fuzzy association memory structure in colored facial image restoration with enhanced similarity measure involved in output computarion. The efficacy if the proposed fuzzy associative memory model is verified by the experiment in that it was 95% successful (with zero mean square error) out of 20 tested images.

Abstract

This research compares the performance of Competitive Over Resources (COR) optimisation method using a different type of constraint handling strategy to solve the economic load dispatch (ELD) problem. Previously, most research focused on proposing various optimisation techniques using the Penalty Factor Strategy (PFS) to search for a better global optimum. The issue using the penalty factor is that it is difficult to find the correct tune of constant value that influences the algorithm to find the solution. The other technique is using Feasible Solution Strategy (FSS), the idea of which is to locate the infeasible particle to the feasible solution and avoid being trapped by the unsuccessful condition of constraint. This paper investigates the performance of PFS and FSS on the COR optimisation method for solving ELD. Both strategies have been tested on two standard test systems to compare the performance in terms of a global solution, robustness and convergence. The simulation shows that FSS is a better solution compared to PFS.

Abstract

 Traditionally, wireless networks and optical fiber Networks are independent of each other. Wireless networks are designed to meet specific service requirements, while dealing with weak physical transmission, and maximize system resources to ensure cost effectiveness and satisfaction for the end user. In optical fiber networks, on the other hand, search efforts instead concentrated on simple low-cost, future-proofness against inheritance and high services and applications through optical transparency. The ultimate goal of providing access to information when needed, was considered significantly. Whatever form it is required, not only increases the requirement sees technology convergence of wireless and optical networks but also played an important role in future communication networks. Some technical development of wireless access networks-optical and seamless coexistence of both techniques, this paper is a review of the State of the latest developments and advances in optical and wireless communications, major technical challenges to provide flawless communication in fiber- wireless (FiWi) access networks, places of interest important research issues to provide intelligence information, access and transport and the convergence of these networks in the future.

Abstract

Generalized Regression Neural Network (GRNN) is usually applied to the Function approximation. This paper, based on the principle of GRNN, presents a method for the predictive model of nonlinear complex system. The presented algorithm is applied to the learning and predicting process for the system modeling. Abstract

In today’s scenario to solve the real world problem heterogeneous wireless sensor is necessary. It consists of different sensor with different sensing capability and different energy level. Routing is important task in HWSN from energy dissipation point of view. In HWSN many routing protocols were proposed but many protocols are for single hop communication between cluster head and sink. Here we have designed multi-hop routing protocol for HWSN, which will be energy efficient and also solve the problem of hot spot using unequal clustering. To make this protocol more energy efficient cross layer information exchange approach is used. Using cross layer communication this protocol will get residual energy, quality of link and neighboring nodes information and this information is used in cluster head selection. Moreover there is no need to do broadcast of residual energy for every round because of RDA (regular data acquisition) nodes. We can predict the energy consumption of node, which will conserve the energy using Energy Efficient Fuzzy Based Cross Layer Protocol (EEFCLP). This proposed protocol can achieve longer sensor lifetime and more energy efficiency.

Abstract

Communication by email is counted as a popular manner through which users can exchange information. The email could be abused by spammers to spread suspicious content to the Internet users. Thus, the need to an effective way to detect spam emails are becoming clear to keep this information safe from malicious access. Many methods have been developed to address such a problem. In this paper, a machine learning technique is applied to detect spam emails. In this technique, a detection system based on sequential minimal optimization (SMO) is built to classify emails into two categories: spam and non-spam (ham). Each email is represented by a set of features extracted from its textual content. A hybrid feature selection is developed to choose a subset of these features based on their importance in process of the detection. This subset is then input into the SMO algorithm to make the detection decision. The use of such a technique provides an efficient protective mechanism to control spams. The experimental results show that the performance of the proposed method is promising compared with the existing methods.

Abstract

Modern gas turbines are a significant source for power generation and prime mover for marine propulsion. The depleting fossil fuel sources have provided a cue for broader implementation and usage of renewable energy. Biofuel has been touted as a substitute for natural gas to power gas turbines. To confirm the dependability and reliability of this attempt in a complex multi-domain system, for example, the gas turbine, the fuel system of the micro-gas turbine is designed and modelled using MATLAB Simulink. The model; simulates the; transient and steady state of a gas turbine’s nominal functional situations. Evaluations between the field data and; simulation outcomes validate a high degree of correspondence. The fuel system in the micro;-gas turbine simulation model is also optimized with the experimental data.
