Boredom in the teaching and learning process is very often occurring, especially in elementary school-aged children, this can be understood because, their age in the playing period. So to overcome the boredom, teachers need to know some ice-breaking methods. The purpose of writing this article is to find out the application of ice breaking and its relationship to the return of student learning concentration as well as the obstacles faced by teachers in the application of ice breaking. This type of research is a literature study. Teknik data collection used is documentation. The data analysis technique used is an analysis article. The results showed that (1) icebreaking can be applied to all subjects even in student tutoring services. Ice Breaking can be combined with learning methods such as joyful learning methods or other game techniques (2) because after doing these activities, the concentration of student learning becomes good and can stimulate student absorption, learning interests, learning attention, learning outcomes and can foster student learning spirit (3) Obstacles faced include teachers less mastery of types of ice breaking, less creative, and charcoal there is soft skill training based on ice-breaking

Extracuricular is needed by the education unit as a forum to develop the interests and talents of learners. The purpose of this study is how the role of the principal's leadership in the sustainability of extracurricular management at MI Nahdatul Ulama Sumber Agung. The research methods used in this study are qualitative, data sources through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of this study are 1) The process of managing the cocurricular by the principal at MI Nahdatul Ulama Sumber Agung is carried out from the formulation, formulation, utilization, to the stage of evaluation and control of activities. 2) The obstacles faced in the extracurricular management of MI Nahdatul Ulama Sumber Agung are the difficulty of getting competent supervisors according to the field, sometimes difficulty to get infrastructure, and also obstacles in motivating learners to continue to be excited to follow the activities. 3) The result of the principal's leadership in managing extracurriculars at MI Nahdatul Ulama Sumber Agung is the interest and talent of students can be included in the race.

Abstract This classroom action research aims to determine the improvement of student learning outcomes after the implementation of the Experimental method in class II SDN Seuneubok China in the first semester of 2017/2018 Academic Year, especially in science subjects, material, energy sources. This research was conducted with classroom action research methods conducted in 2 (two) cycles. Based on the results obtained during the implementation of class action research, it can be explained that student learning outcomes from the initial conditions of student learning outcomes are still low because under KKM ≥70, the class average is only 57.27 with classical learning completeness from 22 students only 8 students (36.36%) completed. In the first cycle after the experimental method was applied the average grade increased to 69.09 with classical completeness of 72.73% but the results have not reached KKM ≥70. In the second cycle, the class average increased again, reaching an average value of 80.45 with classical completeness of 95.46%. With the increase in learning outcomes in each cycle, the action hypothesis can be accepted and thus it can be concluded that the use of the exeriment method can improve the learning outcomes of science materials on energy sources in class II SD Seuneubok State of China

Reading is one of the activities out in the learning process. Reading is also an ongoing communication skill. After the researchers used the implementation of the guiding reading approach (Guilded Reading Procedure) students’ interest in reading had increased very well with an average value of 88.6. This research used action research as much as 2 cycles. Clycle I consisted of 6 stages: Plannging, observation, questionnaire, interview, reflection and revision. While the second cycle consists consisted of 6 stages: Plannging, observation, questionnaire, interview and reflection. The target of study is students of class III A MIN 3 Langsa City. The conclusion of study was learning to read trought the implementation of reading procedure guide can have a positive influence on learning outcomes and can increase student motivation in reading.

This research was conducted at Indra Makmu 2 Public Middle School for 3 months in the odd semester of the 2017/2018 school year which aims to improve student learning outcomes. The research subjects were all class VII students, amounting to 30 people, with 11 men and 19 women. In collecting data, researchers used instruments or data collection techniques in the form of granules of test questions totaling 10 items and observation sheets. After the data is collected the researcher conducts data processing and analysis by comparing the results of tests and observations from the initial conditions, the first and second cycles. The results showed an increase in completeness of students in the first cycle to 63% (19 students) from the initial condition which was only 17% (5 students), and at the end of cycle II completeness increased again to 87% (24 students).

This study aims to describe the process of using varied methods in the learning. This research is a school action research by taking 23 research subject. The research was carried out in two cycles of cycles and each cycle consisted of 4 stages: planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. The esthabilished performance indicators are that if a minimum of 85% of teachers is classified as capable and good in using varied methods in the learning process, then it can be said that the actions implemented are successful. The aspect measured in assessing the success of the action is the teacher’s understanding of the use of varied methods in the learning process and the results of the implementation of In House Training (IHT) activities. The results of the study show, in the first cycle there was an increase in teacher competence in using varied methods in the learning process properly and correctly namely by 57%, while in the second cycle increased sharply to 91%. Therefore it can concluded that through the implementation of in House Training (IHT)_activities can improve teacher competency in using varied methods in the learning process correctly in SD Negeri 1 Pureulak which is marked by the achievement of performance indicators in cycle II. Thust it can be suggested to other schools that the application of In House Traning (IHT) activities can be applied as an alternative in increasing teacher competence in using varied methods in the learning process.

The aim of this research is to improve the learning outcomes of Indonesian students in conversation text material through the application of the class I contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) Approach in the second semester of the 2016-2017 academic year at SD Negeri Naleung Mass School, East Aceh Regency. The benefits of this research are to add new references and theories in the field of education, especially the implementation of classroom Action Research by applying various models or learning methods so as to improve student learning outcomes. To achieve this, the steps that need to be implemented are through the application of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) Approach. Data analysis methods used in this study uses descriptive analysis whose data is sourced from formative tests and classroom observations. This research was conducted in the increase in students mastery learning which reaches 85% classically. The results of the study show that in cycle I (one) the average value of students amounted to 64 and mastery learning reached 44%. These results indicate an improvement from the initial conditions with an average score of only 54.8 and a new learning completeness of 28%. While in cycle II (two) the average value of student was 79.2 and completeness of learning reached 92%. The conclusion of this study was the application of contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) Approach to Indonesian learning. The benefits of this research are to add new references and theories in the field of education, especially the implementation of Classroom Action Research by applying various models or learning methods so as to improve student learning outcomes. To achieve this, the steps that need to be implemented are using the Picture and Picture Technique Cooperative Learning Model. This study aims to determine the increase in student learning outcomes after applying Mathematics learning to numeracy operations material through the use of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) Approach for Grade IV students of SD Negeri 1 Panton Rayeuk T, East Aceh District. This type of research uses Classroom Action Research conducted in two cycles. The research subjects were grade IV students, amounting to 26 students. The results show that through the use of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) Approach, it turns out student learning outcomes increase in each cycle. Mastery of the material at the initial condition is still very low or has not worked well. Out of 26 students, only 15 students (33%) achieved the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM) which was set at 70 with an average value of 52. From the results of the research revealed that in cycle I the average value of students amounted to 69, learning completeness reached 58 %, the achievement of this value shows an increase in the value acquisition in the initial conditions. While in cycle II (the average value of students 78 and mastery learning reached 88%. The conclusion of this study was the use of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) Approach in Mathematics learning of numerical operations material can have a positive effect on increasing student learning outcomes in class IV semester II of the academic year 2016-2017SD Negeri 1 Panton Rayeuk T East Aceh Regency.

This research was carried out aimed at improving student learning outcomes in Civics in the Central Government living system through the use of an Expository Approach in class IV-A of SD Negeri 1 Peureulaksemen II in the 2017-2018 Academic Year. The benefits of this research are to add new references and theories in the field of education, especially in the implementation of Classroom Action Research by applying various models or learning methods so as to improve student learning outcomes. To achieve this, the step that needs to be implemented is to use the Expository Approach. Data analysis method used in this study uses descriptive analysis whose data is sourced from formative tests and classroom observations. Sampling amounted to 30 people in class IV-A. Retrieval of learning outcomes data using learning outcomes test instruments and observation sheets. From the results of the first cycle test, showed that students who scored 80 were 2 students (6.66%), while those who scored 75 were 11 students or (36.67%), who scored 70 as many as 6 students or (20% ), those who get 65 are 8 students or (26.67%), those who get 60 are 2 students or (6.67%) while the lowest score of 50 is 1 student (3.33%). Based on the completeness of student learning from a total of 30 students there are 19 students or (63.33%). Whereas in Silkus II who got a very good score that is 90 as many as 3 students or (10%), who got a score of 85 as many as 6 students or (20%) who scored 80 as many as 7 students or (23.33%) who scored 75 as many as 5 students or (16.66%) who scored 70 as many as 6 students or (20%) while those who scored 65 were 2 students or (6.66%) and those who got the lowest scores were 60 students or 1 , 33%). The average value of the class is 77.50 with 90% completeness. Based on this research it can be concluded that the application of the Expository Approach can improve the learning outcomes of Civics subjects, especially the material "Central Government System" for fourth-grade students of semester II of SD Negeri 1 Peureulak in the 2017-2018 Academic Year.
