Abstract

This multicultural education is likened to a bridge to achieve life together with humanity in this globalization era full of challenges. The main purpose of multicultural Islamic education is to emphasize the whole environment or educational atmosphere, so that multicultural Islamic education can increase respect or attention to cultural groups that are very broad or different to get the same education, which is equal to most people in general. This research uses the library method by analyzing data from relevant journals and books. The results of this study indicate that multicultural education must be applied in various lines of education especially conflict prone areas.

Abstract

The implementation of teacher certification is expected to have an impact on improving the quality of learning and the quality of education on an ongoing basis. But the fact that often happens that the certification allowance often does not work with the initial goal for improving teacher performance. If you carefully examine the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 14 Year 2005 regarding teachers and lecturers, it will be seen that the law contains an increase in the welfare of teaching staff which is characterized by functional benefits, special allowances, and professional teaching allowances. Thus, this study aims to describe the performance of certified and uncertified teachers and find out whether there is a difference in the performance of certified teachers and uncertified teachers at the Yayasan Darul Falah Pajarakan Probolinggo. The results of research was found that; (1) the performance of teachers in the Darul Falah Pajarakan Probolinggo foundation is classified as good with a high categorization of 11.7%, a high of 82.3%, and a moderate of 5.8%, and (2) There is a difference between the performance of certified teachers with the performance of teachers who are not certified in the foundation fostered by Darul Falah Pajarakan Probolinggo as proven by the calculated F value of 13,147 with a significance value of 0.001 is 0.05.

Abstract

This study aims to formulate the concept of cooperation between Madrasah Diniyah which has religious character education but is less attractive to the public with formal education that is of interest to the community but lacks character education. This research is a literature study with the primary source being Presidential Decree Number 87 of 2017. While the secondary sources are various local regulations issued by the Regent or Mayor regarding Madrasah Diniyah. The forms of cooperation opportunities that exist between Madin and formal education can include several aspects. First, the curriculum aspect, where the two institutions can complement and complement each other. Second, the legality of the program where formal institutions can oblige students to study at Madin. Third, the social aspect in which these institutions can work together with community leaders so that they can support each other so that these formal and non-formal institutions can provide wider benefits. This cooperation can be maximized if it gets support from local officials, the Ministry of Religion, and the Education Office.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the analysis of the quality and quality of education in islmaic educational institutions in MAN 2 Yogyakarta. The research method used is descriptive analysis with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques are done by interview, observation and documentasion. The results showed that; 1). To achieve the vision, mission and objectives of the Madrasah, the principal plays an active role in assisting and communicating to teachers and staff in realizing the vision and mission of the Madrasah by realizing knowledgeable, charitable and noble personality; 2). MAN 2 Yogyakarta has excellent academic and non-academic achievements; 3). Graduates or graduates of MAN 2 Yogyakarta are able to compete with other Madrasah to continue in Indonesia’s best universities, such as UGM, UNY, IPB, UIN Sunan Kalijaga, and Jendral Sudirman University; 4). To be a superior Madrasah, MAN 2 Yogyakarta is still not superior enought, that is because there are some facilities and infrastructure that have not been fulfilled properly.

Abstract

Abstract. This research was carried out to reveal 1) Is there an influence of the principal's leadership on teacher work motivation? 2) Is there an influence of school organizational culture on teacher work motivation? 3) Is there an influence of the principal's leadership on the culture of the school organization? 4) Is there an influence on the principal's leadership on the teacher's work motivation through the culture of the school organization ?. This research was conducted using a quantitative approach to path analysis with a total sample of 30 people consisting of school principals and teachers. Data was collected using a Likert scale model questionnaire. Data were analyzed using simple and multiple correlation and regression techniques. The results revealed that the four issues raised proved to be very influential and significant. This proves that work motivation is determined by leadership. Work motivation is also determined by organizational culture, organizational culture is determined by leadership.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the effectiveness of peer teaching methods through Gadged in lowering student stress levels during pandemics. The subjects of this study were 40 students who had learning stress problems. Of the 40 study subjects divided into two groups, namely, 20 experimental groups and 20 control groups. The measuring instrument used in this study is a questionnaire data with student learning stress indicators in the form of 32 statement items to determine the level of learning stress experienced by students. The questionnaire is used as a pre test and post test. Data analysis techniques used are independent techniques of sample t-test using SPSS 16 program. Based on the results of research and discussion about learning stress in students, after being treated with peer teaching method through gadgets showed that the results of the 3rd output (Paired Samples Test) on learning stress variables, obtained Sig value. (2-tailed) = 0.01 in the experiment group and 0.0400 in the control group smaller than 0.05 (0.000 0.05). So it can be concluded that Ha was accepted and H0 rejected.

Abstract

Total Quality Management (TQM) is the thought of Arman V. Feigenbaum which was originally used to improve the quality of high quality in achievement of business world and production company’s. This thinking then adopted and applied to the world system of education units to achieve the same thing, namely high quality improvements that emphasize customer satisfaction. Customers of this education world, in addition to students, are also involved parents guardians of students, as well as the government as the supervisor of education and curriculum makers. This research uses library based. This study carries quality in the perspective of Feigenbaum and its implementation in educational institutions with TQM and considers the five pillars of TQM implementation in the world of education. That is; customer focus, total involment, measurement, commitment, and continuous and continuous improvement. While barriers to implementation in the world of education that implement TQM can be found according to the thoughts of Sharples et al namely; commitment, education and training, application and practice, standardization and recognition.

Abstract

This study aims to understand and analyze the application of the partnership program as a strategy for higher education in maintaining sustainability at Nurul Jadid Paiton University, Probolinggo. This research uses a qualitative approach with case study. The results showed that Nurul Jadid University carried out a partnership program with other agencies as a strategy in maintaining sustainability in the institution which was carried out through four stages, namely: Attention, namely creating awareness of the process and innovation in the institution; Interest, which is to raise interest from the community; Desire to choose an institution; Action, namely community action that makes the institution selected as its main choice. Through this community choice, the institution can maintain the sustainability of higher education. This research has implications for the importance of educational institutions in maintaining sustainability through their partner institutions, thus impacting public trust and public loyalty.

Abstract

This research aims to excavate the meaning and substance contained in the entire thought of Islamic boarding school and madrasah in the politic of educational in Indonesia. The method of research use bibliografic research with content analysis. The results of study revealed that Islamic boarding school and madrasah in politic of education in Indonesia experienced tremendous dynamics, especially starting from the colonial period, namely the pioneering stages of the establishment of madrasah; the old order. Islamic boarding school and madrasah are not only recognized, but also in the form of coaching and guidance; the new order, madrasah is aimed to build an intact national education system completely. Therefore, madrasah has extra burden of considerable weight, because it must provide curriculum of level public school completely, he also had to provide the essential materials of Islam that had been taught; the reformation period. Islamic boarding school and madrasah diniyah received recognition juridically; and the period after reform. Islamic boarding school and madrasah are faced with a touch of technology.

Abstract

The important part of management is the role of an educator in applying management functions in the hope of reducing such complex problems. Therefore, it is natural that the educator (teacher) is a major component of the management function. If the teacher is of good quality, then education will be good. And vice versa. Discussions about educators are widely discussed by Muslim and western leaders from various generations. One Muslim figure who is quite famous in talking about education is Shaykh Az-Zarnuji. In choosing an educator according to Az- Zarnuji refers to primary data sources namely, Ta'alimul Muta'allimul is in terms of choosing teachers, let choose who is more pious, more waro 'and older. The goal is to get the ideal teacher criteria so that the actualization of knowledge and responsibility for the mandate to reach the pleasure of Allah SWT. In addition, the contextualization of teacher and student relationships intended by Zarnuji is to place the position of a teacher as a respectable figure in front of his students.
