Abstract

The village head asked for an extension of office for 9 years with 3 terms equal to a term of office of 27 years because for them a term of office of six years actually sharpened the competition between village head candidates. According to him, a nine-year term of office for village heads can reduce conflict in political competition in village head elections. Apart from the question of extending the term of office, village heads spoke out regarding village sovereignty. There are reasons for extending the term of office of the village head, one of which is to maximize village development. The reason is, the election of the village head causes polarization in the village to be quite prolonged. Therefore, it is better if the village head's term of office is extended to nine years. This research aims to analyze the dynamics of village heads' requests to extend their terms of office to 20 years or 3 terms. Discusses the background to the request to extend the position of village head, related laws, and suggestions for the government. This research uses qualitative methods, namely descriptive research and uses concrete data analysis. The position of village head has lasted more than 20 years, this is a deviation from the 1945 Constitution because it narrows democracy in the village. This also causes injustice in occupying leadership positions in village government and gives rise to exploitation of positions by certain people. The researcher advised the government to reject the proposal to extend the Village Head's term of office to 9 (nine) years and can be served for 3 (periods). The government should focus more on structuring village government in order to realize village development in order to improve the quality of life and welfare of village communities.

Abstract

This research examines the capacity of the Sardonoharjo village government in implementing village fund management during the pre-pandemic and Covid-19 pandemic era. To study this problem, researchers used implementation theory according to Van Meter and Van Horn. This study uses descriptive qualitative methods and researchers act as research instruments. Data obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The results of this study indicate that village fund management, in the government of Sardonoharjo village before the Covid-19 pandemic, prioritized the use of village funds for village strategic program activities that were cross-sectoral in nature. The activity program is both physical and non-physical development. For physical development, the Sardonoharjo Village government focuses on repairing and maintaining infrastructure for the most basic needs of village communities, such as water irrigation, roads, lighting, village economic stalls, agricultural business development, while non-physical programs or activities The Sardonoharjo Village Government prioritizes service program activities that are basic services. which directly brings benefits to improving the economy and quality of life of village communities such as public health, improving the economy through the development of superior village products, and others. before the Covid-19 pandemic, the use of village funds during this pandemic was used for non-physical program activities, while development activities of a physical nature were abolished which focused on the economic recovery of rural communities, in the form of providing direct village cash assistance (BLT), and revitalizing village-owned enterprises.

Abstract

Agama digital merupakan wajah kehidupan spiritualitas manusia yang terintegrasi dalam ruang digital. Zaluchu (2024) menjelaskan bahwa agama digital merupakan produk budaya modern yang karakteristiknya yaitu teknologi digital. Agama digital menurut Campbell dkk (2013) adalah bentuk kehadiran agama yang diekspresikan secara online oleh komunitas-komunitas spiritual dan memuat ritual baru yang menyatukan antara teknologi dan kehidupan spiritual itu sendiri. Artikel ini disusun dengan menggunakan metode studi literatur yang mengadaptasi garis besar dari model pencarian literatur menurut Ridley (2012) yang terdiri dari tahap eksplorasi perpustakaan digital; menentukan kata kunci untuk menemukan jurnal maupun artikel ilmiah dengan tema yang sesuai; dan menggunakan teknik snowball untuk memperluas cakupan eksplorasi literatur. Adapun hasil studi menunjukan bahwa agama digital bukan aliran agama baru, melainkan sebuah praktik spiritualitas yang memanfaatkan ruang digital sebagai medium untuk mereka mengaktualisasikan ritual, nilai, dan memperluas jaringan komunitas melalui internet. Dengan meminjam pemikiran Durkheim, temuan kedua menjelaskan tentang peran ruang digital sebagai arena kehidupan spiritualitas yang baru.
