Abstract

This study aims to develop an interactive-based Student Worksheet (LKPD) using a live worksheet. Mathematics subject, volume material on cubes and blocks for fifth grade elementary school. The type of research used is research and development (Research and Development) or called R&D. The research model used is ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluations), the research consists of 5 stages. The subjects in the study were 15 students in the VC class. The instruments used are expert validation assessment questionnaires (materials, media, language), preliminary interview study sheets for teachers and students as well as teacher and student response questionnaires. Data collection techniques used in the form of teacher interviews, observation of learning activities and questionnaires. The results of the validation of the assessment of the LKPD were 82.35% material experts, 93% media experts and 80% linguists. The accumulation of the three experts obtained a percentage of 85%, which can be categorized as "Very Eligible". The teacher's assessment got 90%. Then the assessment of the student response questionnaires at the trial stage obtained 90.7% and the assessment at the field test stage obtained as much as 90.9%, so it can be categorized as "Very Good". So that it can be seen the effectiveness of the LKPD from the acquisition of an average score of 90.7. The conclusion in this study, that interactive-based LKPD using live worksheets is very suitable for use in learning mathematics, and this interactive LPKD gets a positive response from teachers and students.

Abstract

Social studies subjects are one of the lessons that are trained in elementary schools. The age of elementary school students is at the concrete operational stage, this situation shows that students in elementary school still find it difficult to pursue abstract learning. However, in reality, in social studies learning the teacher only uses the lecture method and does not utilize the media during the teaching and learning process. This situation makes students feel bored quickly, unmotivated and passive during the learning process so that the learning outcomes to be achieved are less than optimal. Therefore, efforts are needed in making various kinds of media so that they can be used in the learning process. This study aims to determine the application of monopoly media in social studies learning in Theme 5 to increase activity and learning outcomes for fifth grade elementary school students. The method applied in this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) by taking the Kemmis & Mc. Taggart. The data collection instruments used in this study were interviews, observations and tests. This research was carried out in several stages, namely pre-cycle and cycle. Pre-cycle consists of observation and reflection. Meanwhile, the cycle stage includes planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects in this study were fifth grade students at SDN Serang 07 with 25 members. This research is said to be successful if the indicators of success are achieved, namely the percentage of learning activities and student learning outcomes that increase or meet the target of 80% or more, and the student learning outcomes get a score of 70. The results showed that: (1) the learning activities of fifth graders experienced an increase while using monopoly media, this was evidenced by the increasing percentage, starting from the pre-cycle the percentage was 38.2%, in the first cycle it increased to 73.4%, in the first cycle it was 73.4%. the second cycle increased again to 89.4% and got very good percentage criteria, (2) the learning outcomes of class V students increased while using monopoly media, this was evidenced by the increasing percentage during the activity cycle, starting from the pre-cycle to get a percentage of 32% , in the first cycle it increased to 68%, in the second cycle it increased again to 88% and got very good percentage criteria.

Abstract

In IPS, there.are a few contemplations that are firmly related to.the sociologies, like monetary viewpoints, social collaboration, history, geography. A play scene that can't be isolated from the understudies in grade school. through playing understudies can foster agreement and influence understudies to feel glad in play. This foundation was driven by perceptions at SDN Serang VII during learning in the 4th grade in October 2021, in this perception tracked down that instructors in conveying material too exhausting even caused understudies to become idle, and learning results were missing, particularly in IPS. The method.used.in this.study.is a homeroom movement research. (PTK) with plans from Kemmis and Taggart, by having 4 stages in it in each cycle, comprising of planning, execution, perception, and reflection, with a quantitative methodology. Information data in research: meetings, tests and variety. In the use of the pretending technique in the investigation of topic 4 (IPS) to further develop understudy learning results in grade 4 experienced changes in amount, the change was seen from understudy exercises, instructors and understudy learning results, in the pre-pattern of understudy action by 430 (47% of classifications less), cycle I by 560 (62% great classification), cycle II 782 (78% with great classification), then, at that point, on educator movement during pre-cycle 44% with classification (adequate), then, at that point, expanded in cycle I 88% (great) and expanded in cycle II 94% with class (great), and afterward on understudy learning results during pre-cycle 1,460 with a normal score of 58.4 with a rate (28% class less), then, at that point, in cycle I 1,915 with a normal score of 76 with a rate (44% of adequate classes) and expanded in cycle II 2,210 with a normal score of 88.4 with a rate (88% great classification), Thus the ends got in this review in the application.of the strategy for cultivating to further develop the learning results of fourth grade understudies in subject 4 learning (IPS) are announced effective, in light of the fact that there has been an increment and change in the amount of learning in the class.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in class V of State Elementary School in Sukabumi City. This is because the teacher does not explain the direction of small group learning, the proportion of tasks is evenly distributed to each group member, and motivates students to cooperate with their groupmates. The ability to work together in the classroom can foster interpersonal skills. The goal of the study was to develop collaborative skills using the conference approach of elementary school fifth graders. This research method uses class action research. In research, data collection techniques use observation sheets, location records, and documentation. The subjects of this study were 35 V-graders from elementary school. Data processing and data analysis used are qualitative data analysis and quantitative data analysis. Student learning outcomes increased by 40% from 28.57% in pre-cycle learning to 68.57% in cycle 1, so the final results obtained met the criteria for study success. Thus, research shows that applying a conference approach is able to improve student learning outcomes through learning activities with a conference approach.

Abstract

This research is based on the observations of researchers in elementary schools in the research environment. At the beginning of the observation, the researcher found a phenomenon that was relevant to this study, namely that there were students in class III who had difficulty reading. The reading difficulties experienced such as difficulty reading words consisting of three or more syllables and experiencing errors in recognizing words such as omission, insertion, replacement, reversal of letters, and stammering. The formulation of the problem based on this phenomenon is how the tutoring that has been given by the teacher so far to students with reading difficulties and the design of the tutoring service program needed for students with reading difficulties. The focus of this research is that the researcher makes a recommendation for a tutoring service program according to the needs of students with reading difficulties at SD Negeri Cikande Permai class III. Qualitative approaches and case study methods are used in this study. This method is used with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. From the findings that have been analyzed, it is found that students who have reading difficulties need a monthly tutoring service program in the form of a matrix and evaluation. So that the process of learning activities for students who have reading difficulties can be served and run well according to their needs.

Abstract

Mathematics in elementary schools includes three branches of knowledge that are taught in the field of mathematics studies, including arithmetic, algebra, and geometry. Most students who have just entered school already recognize symbols as well as how to name a number. They are able to number sequentially, although there are still many who do not really know how to write and recognize number symbols properly and correctly. Based on the results of interviews with teachers in class II A SD Negeri Panyirapan 02, from the total number of students, namely 36 people, 5 students have been found who have problems writing two-digit number symbols. Referring to the facts in the field, this study aims to determine the causes of students experiencing errors in writing two-digit numbers and find out how the application and success of number puzzle media as an effort to overcome existing problems. The research approach used is a qualitative approach, using case study methods through in-depth interviews, observations, tests, and documentation. From the results of the study, it has been found that there are several factors that can cause learning difficulties that can result in errors in writing two-digit numbers, namely internal factors and external factors. Then, in the application of number puzzle media as an effort to overcome existing problems, students are directly involved in using the media so that they are very enthusiastic in participating in learning. With an increase in the value obtained by students, namely when the pre-test the lowest score that students get is 65, while during the post-test the lowest score that students get is 80, then the average student is wrong in answering the number of questions about counting, while for the number of questions about writing number symbols can be answered correctly by all students. Referring to the results obtained, the number puzzle media can be a solution to overcome students' problems in writing number symbol errors.

Abstract

This research was carried out based on the problems faced by class VI students at SDN Serang 7 in social studies learning, namely the use of non-variative learning methods, where in delivering learning materials using conventional methods such as lectures and very rarely using media so that students become bored, bored, not active in learning and hinder students in developing critical thinking skills so that an alternative is needed to overcome this problem, namely using the Crossword Puzzle media (Teka Teki Silang). Media Crossword Puzzle (Teka Teki Silang) in this study aims to determine whether the media Crossword Puzzle (Teka Teki Silang) affect the critical thinking skills of grade VI students of SDN Serang 7 in social studies learning. This research is a quantitative study using the Quasi Experiment method with the research design of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Sampling was done by non-probability sampling technique with purposive sampling. Research location at SDN Serang 7. Formulation (1) What is the initial condition of grade VI students at SDN Serang 7 before using Crossword Puzzle media? (2) What are the obstacles experienced in the social studies learning process for grade VI students at SDN Serang 7? (3) How is the effect of using Crossword Puzzle learning media on students' critical thinking skills in social science learning class VI at SDN Serang 7? The results showed from the results of calculations between the posttest experimental class and control class obtained tcount = 4.398 with dk 70. Then obtained ttable = at a significance level of 0.05 of 1.667. that tcount > ttable is 4.398 > 1.667, and the significance value is 0.000 <0.05. This means that Ha is accepted, meaning that the Crossword Puzzle learning media has an effect on the social science critical thinking skills of sixth graders at SDN Serang 7.

Abstract

The National Assessment is a new government policy related to the initial system of school quality mapping. The National Assessment consists of a Minimum Competency Assessment, a Character Survey and a Learning Environment Survey. This policy change was based on the low PISA results obtained by the Indonesian state. As a step to improve Program for International Student Assessment (PISA) scores, the Minimum Policy Assessment Program is based on collaboration between PISA and Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study (TIMSS) with the aim of improving literacy skills, namely reasoning using language, improving numeracy or mathematics and improve character education in students. Literacy skills in AKM consist of informational text content and fictional texts by emphasizing students to be able to understand, evaluate, and reflect on texts on questions with the aim of developing individuals to be able to develop themselves optimally as Indonesian citizens. The location of this research was carried out by SD Negeri Lialang with the aim of identifying the reading literacy skills of fifth grade students in solving Minimum Competency Assessment simulation questions. The research approach used is a qualitative approach with content analysis methods. The subjects in this study were the researchers themselves. The object of the research is a simulation test sheet for class V students as many as 30 students. Data collection was carried out in this study using tests, interviews and documentation. The literacy ability of class V students got the results that from 30 students, as many as 20 students or 66.67% were in moderate ability.

Abstract

Numerical ability is the ability possessed by humans to understand, apply, and interpret mathematics in different forms. This ability is also included in a person's high-level reasoning ability and ability in a problem related to numbers. The purpose of this study was to identify the numerical abilities of fifth grade students by conducting a trial test with questions of the higher order of thinking skill (HOTS) type. The research used is qualitative with content analysis method. The research subjects were fifth grade students consisting of 35 students at SDN Lilang. Data collection techniques were carried out by interviews, observation and trial tests. The results showed that the numerical ability of students has a percentage of 53.33% of students in the medium ability group and 46.67% of students in the low ability group.

Abstract

The background of this research is based on observations during real work lectures (KKN) and practice of microteaching courses. Researchers found an interesting phenomenon, namely the discovery of students in class III who have difficulty learning mathematics, especially regarding number operations. Therefore, it is necessary to have a tutoring service program which is an activity carried out structurally in serving and guiding students who are still having difficulties in learning. The problem discussed in this study is a program design for tutoring services needed for students with learning difficulties in mathematics. The purpose of this study is to make recommendations for tutoring programs according to the needs for students who have difficulty learning math class III at SD Negeri Tapos 2. Because in learning activities while in class, there are still students who still do not understand the basic concepts of number operations and cannot distinguish operational symbols in a mathematical sentence. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach with a case study method. This method is carried out with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation to obtain data and information through direct observations and sources. From the findings that have been analyzed, that students who have learning difficulties in mathematics need a tutoring service which includes a monthly program of tutoring services in the form of a matrix, as well as evaluation of questions. So that the process of learning activities for students who have difficulty learning mathematics can be served and run well according to their needs.
